  Definitely recommend

  Arbor House was wonderful to work with. They were recommended to us by our wedding planner, and we couldn't have been happier. There was a huge variation in floral pricing, so we were hoping for the best- and it looked amazing! Due to some family illness, we needed a little flexibility and knew we were going to have some *minor* last minute changes (1 extra bouquet or not)- and Joey was so understanding. The reception venue looked beautiful, and so did everyone's personal flowers. I wanted peonies in my bouquet, but they were out of season- Joey was able to source some flowers that were comparable, and a peony just for me. The flowers were fresh, full, and gorgeous, for a great value!

  Joey is a true artist!

  We hired Joey/Arbor House for all of our floral needs (rehearsal dinner centerpieces, bouquets, ceremony and reception) and could not be more pleased. We had a very specific look we wanted and it was important that we hired a florist that would interpret our vision. Joey sat with us and listened very carefully to the look we wanted to achieve and worked with us to bring it to life! I received compliments all night at our wedding about how stunning my bouquet was and how tasteful and unique our centerpieces were. Joey is real gem and I highly recommend him. He'll work with you to execute your vision exactly and has the craftsmanship and skills to create whatever it is you can dream. The quality of the flowers are also spectacular! Its a week later and the rose I kept from my bouquet is still going strong! :) Thank you so much, Joey!

  I will only purchase flowers from arbor house floral! Knew exactly what I wanted and didn't get cheap fillers they were stunning!!! Was a small intimate renewal of our vows, very impressed.

  I loved working with Arbor House while planning my wedding. Joey was so easy to work with and communicative. My bouquets and arrangements were so lovely! They really nailed it in putting together floral pieces that were exactly what I envisioned. I especially loved my flower crown, which was something I was a little nervous about, but they did such a great job with it. The floral accents and arrangements around our venue were so beautiful and really added something special to the ceremony and reception. They are a great value too.

From the bouquets to the spectacular focal pieces, everything was done with love and care. They worked within our budget and were very quick to respond to questions. And - they make deliciously scented handmade soaps - which were the perfect addition to our bridesmaids gift baskets. I would highly recommend Arbor House floral for your upcoming event!

  Joey at Arbor House Floral did a wonderful job with my wedding flowers. I more than thrilled when I saw my bouquet. All I did was tell him the colors of my wedding and the look I was going for and he created the perfect bouquet for me and my bridal party. Joey is very easy to work with and very helpful.   I found these guys on the knot website. They are a pretty new business in New Orleans, and their shop in the by-water is not all that awe-inspiring, but both guys are very nice and talented. Joey sat with my mother and I for an hour talking about what exactly we wanted and giving us some ideas. They are very reasonably priced and will work with your budget. I really really loved how the flowers turned out. They were exactly what I wanted. So pretty. Also, they were very responsive if I needed anything, and even delivered the flowers that were going to go in my hair to the hotel on the day of the wedding very last minute.

  You used flowers that were not talked about and changed the bouquet in such a way that is did not look like the picture. It was a completely different shape. It was a ball and not more oblong.
  
  Making decisions to save money (even though you said you spent more) was not a decision for you to make. I should have had the option of changes based on any mishaps or change in pricing. I should have had the opportunity to know what was happening and to agree or disagree. I gave you pretty much free reign on the tables, but was so very explicit that my wedding bouquet was not to be changed. I did not want ranunculus in my bouquet AT ALL. I would have never agreed to them.
  
  The protea was supposed to be at the top. It wasn't as specific in the contract b/c we had a phone conversation about it. If the protea had been at the top of the bouquet, the other flowers would have looked the way they they were supposed to in the front.
  
  I also told you specifically ONE or TWO red anemones NOT FOUR. Four changes the color of it.
  
  I think its terrible that our conversations did not matter and that you are only referring to the contract. I didn't have this issue with any other vendor.
  
  As far as showing me how to hold the bouquet, the planners did not...however, There was only one way to hold it based on the placement of the ribbon.
  
  Again, I will end with reminding you of how very clear I was in wanting my bouquet to be exactly as I wanted it and that I was willing to pay for it. You made decisions and changed it without communicating with me. These weren't flowers going to a funeral. these are in my pictures forever. You know as well as I do that the side by side comparison I sent looked not even close.

  There were so many things that were wrong with the arrangements and how they were provided I broke down on my wedding day.
  
  1. I never received my toss away bouquet.
  2. 5 of the 6 bridesmaids bouquets showed up the morning of the wedding. Someone from their team had to go back and get it putting us behind schedule for pictures
  3. No one from their team set up any flowers. They were all just dropped off forcing my wedding planner to have to set up the reception and miss the entire ceremony that was falling apart in her absence.
  4. The columns I requested were white and the ones provided were brown which looked terrible with the decor. 
  5. Outside of the bridesmaid and my bouquet all of the flower arrangements looked horrible. All of the dining center pieces only had about 7 blooms while the rest of the arrangement was leaves and stems which looked  very cheap. It looked nothing like the pictures I sent.
  6. The dining arrangements had no wine colored flowers go along with and match the menus that were on the table. I provided pictures of all of this ahead of time.
  7. The altar arrangements were not supposed to show any greenery but it was full of it giving a tropical look.
  8. All of my arrangements were supposed to be full of blooms like the pictures I sent. Instead they looked like stems/weeds growing from the ground with a few blooms. 
  9. The corsage wristbands didnt fit any of the women since they provided no stretch forcing us to find a last minute alternative. 
  10. I was assured some of the ceremony arrangements would be moved to the reception. They never made it. 
  11. We talked about making sure all of the arrangements would be secure. Several of them blew over to the ground coming close to injuring guests.
  
  I could go on and on about these flowers. As I walked down the aisle, instead of focusing on the groom all I could do was focus on h

  If I could give them zero stars I would have. I paid over $1000 for a hanging floral design. The concept was simple enough -- clear heavy duty fishing wire and flowers hung from them to appear as if they were floating in dim light. The cost was high for what it was -- as I was buying 200 mums at $1/stem (each stem has 5 mums) so essentially the flowers were less than $100 and the rest he said was for labor. I live in CA so was not able and was not offered a mock up. I was told that the flowers would be pre-hung on heavy fishing wire and attached to poles which themselves would be covered in greenery. On my wedding day, Joey comes to set up and has literally never attempted this floral design! During my cocktail hour, he is in a mad dash (with his assistant and eventually my photographers and DJ (literally all hands on deck)) DUCT-TAPING fishing wire!!!! The flowers all slid to the middle of the wire, which was not heavy duty enough for the weight of the flowers and drug across the reception tables below! IT WAS HORRIBLE. My wedding planner (who recommended him called it "a pinterest fail"). I was heartbroken and had all the flowers removed in the middle of the reception!!! Joey acknowledged that the flowers were horrible-- because obviously he had never attempted the concept and he DUCT TAPPED them to the columns in the Marigny. On my wedding day, he promised to refund my money, 4 weeks later he pretends his accounts are locked and now 3 months later he has stopped responding to my emails. If I had more time myself (I am a lawyer) I would sue him myself but for now 'm waiting for a lull in work to find a NOLA attorney as I will be suing him. Honestly, it's not about the flowers anymore (although they really dampened my day and have been hard to get over) but its the principal. Arbor House Floral is deeply unprofessional and I hope this review saves someone the heartache and headache that this has brought me.

  Hi Alli, It's very unfortunate that you feel this way. At our consultation I stressed that this would never work. Unfortunately you insisted that this was going to happen and told me to make it happen. So I set out to accomplish this the best way possible knowing it would not work. I also explained that this could not be done ahead of time because the flowers would be tangled during transport. I informed you to let us have access and set this up before your ceremony. Due to the fact that a 30 minute flip was not enough time to accomplish this. You insisted that this be done during the flip. During the flip exactly what I told you would happen, did. The flowers were too heavy to span that long of a distance. My suggestion to you was to cut them down and lay them in the garlands Your response (in front of everyone there) was that I will do what you paid me to do and figure out how to hang them. Against my better judgement and to ease the situation myself and the coordinators and everyone else tried everything to accomplish this for you. Then I find out later that night that again the flowers draped down because of the weight. Had you followed my advice this could have all been avoided. Second. you mention the cost for flowers was 100.00, FALSE, You paid for 200 flowers per set of tables which were 4 sets equalling 800 flowers, you were charged $120.00 per table for flowers and $36.00 per table for labor which is well below industry standard. This price was actually cut down from an original proposal because you were on a budget and I was trying to help out. Third you were not charged 1000.00 for the hanging design, your whole total for your wedding was right at 1000.00. Having paid a nonrefundable deposit of 120.00 your balance owed and what you paid for the whole wedding was 950.00. This check was mailed a couple of days ago. Word to the wise, If you are going to hire a professional please follow their advice. You are hiring us for a reason.
