My wife and I were a bit nervous when hiring a photographer, since whoever you hire only gets one chance to capture such an important event. We felt so reassured after our initial talk with Anne-Claire when she explained her philosophy of capturing authentic emotions, human connection, and sense memories. These things really set her apart from your average wedding photographer; we know that years from now when we look through these photos, we won’t just remember the events of the day, but also how we felt. We hired Anne-Claire for our engagement photos. She helped us to pick the best location for what we had in mind, and worked to understand exactly what we wanted before our shoot. During the photoshoot, she helped us to feel comfortable (we are both a bit camera shy), and showed us some pictures 3/4 of the way through to make sure she had captured everything we had in mind. She got our photos back to us very quickly, within one week from the shoot, and we could not be happier with them. Her use of light and her ability to capture emotions is amazing! Of all the portfolios we looked at (and we looked at MANY), Anne-Claire's was the only one that fit the style and attention to detail we were looking for, and working with her did not disappoint. All of our photos came out STUNNING, and she made absolute magic out of our couple portraits, which had to be taken entirely indoors due to the pouring rain the night of our wedding. She has such a good eye for light and framing, it was hard to narrow down favorites from either shoot because we loved SO MANY of our photos!

We also really loved her style of shooting - she knew how to capture all the right moments at exactly the right times, but you otherwise didn't notice her unless necessary (like when shooting our family portraits). Anne-Claire was super responsive over email, very thorough in her shot planning before the wedding, and we'd jump at the chance to work with her again. Anne-Claire's pictures are incredible (her portfolio is ample evidence), and she did not disappoint on our wedding day. She was wonderful to work with, communicative, had key recommendations, made us feel very comfortable, and also got all the shots we requested, some were pretty challenging (like capturing my dog galloping down the aisle). The photos turned out gorgeous. I am so happy we had her as our photographer, and I think she possibly offers the best value out there for this level of artistry.

We were blown away with how all of our engagement and wedding photos came out. I reached out to Anne-Claire after seeing the gorgeous photos on her blog. Anne-Claire was incredibly flexible and met us in a remote location in Sea Ranch. She worked magic to capture beautiful photos of our family -- with 2 young kids and even a dog. She provided our digital files so quickly. We have so many photos that we absolutely love -- both candid (so many great ones of the kids naturally playing!) as well as ones of us all looking at the camera.
