Anna was amazing! She captured our wedding day perfectly. We have received so many compliments on our photos. We loved working with her throughout the process. She is so friendly, professional, and experienced. She made the wedding day stress free. She was so fun to spend the day with and share our special moments. Booking Anna was my first step in wedding planning. Partly because my venue schedule was pretty open, so working around Anna’s schedule was most important, but mostly because I was familiar with her and her work. She actually photographed my sister’s wedding, so I felt comfortable and confident choosing her for mine. Even though she worked with my sister first and knew me as the bride’s little sister, she never made me feel like a past client’s sister. She walked me through every process and treated me like I was my own person, which may not sound like much, but it meant a lot #littlesistersyndrome lol

I love how her photos reflect true colors, making for timeless photos that won’t show age due to a specific photography trend. My sisters photos, even though they are 5 years old now, still look classy and beautiful, not dated.

Day of, Anna was a huge help as well. She has a bride/couple first mentality, making sure we were okay, taken care of, and enjoying our day. She handled nosy family members like a champ, reminding them that she is photographing the event and for them to let her do her job (respectfully of course).

She kept us on schedule and made sure we got all of the photos we wanted. We requested sunset pictures and she picked the perfect time to pull us away so that we got the photos and didn’t miss too much of the reception.

Having high-quality photos, and a lot of them, was one of my highest priorities for our wedding day. It was truly the best day and I am so thankful to have Anna’s beautiful photos to help us remember the day. She is 100% worth the investment!

I cannot say enough good things about Anna and her work in capturing our wedding day. We don’t live locally, so we were a little nervous about coordinating such an important part of our wedding long distance. But Anna was so quick and thorough with answering questions and easing nerves. We met up via zoom and were instantly at ease. Between creating a wedding timeline for us, wrangling my large family, last minute changes, and a weather delay there wasn’t a second that she was anything other than calm, collected, and professional. On top of that, she made sure both my husband and I were comfortable and that we soaked in the little moments, which she captured perfectly in the pictures of the day. Anna was truly able to perfectly capture the spirit of my absolute favorite day, and I cannot recommend her enough.

Why can’t more than 5 stars exist!? I don’t even know where to begin because Anna far exceeded and went above and beyond anything I could have ever asked for in a photographer, and words cannot express how grateful and blessed I feel to have had her over this past year and especially on our wedding day. From the beginning, Anna was so kind and easy to work with. Her energy and passion comes to life and she makes you feel so important, beautiful, and excited all at the same time. She responded quickly to all emails, texts, and phone calls. She was willing to bear the 10 DEGREE WEATHER to capture our engagement pictures. She came equipped with hand warmers, blankets, and even took the time to go hike the mountain a week beforehand to make sure she understood the landscape and lighting - like are you kidding me?! She knows exactly how to direct you (especially when you’re freezing your butt off and need to hurry) and get the perfect shots. I was nervous about Covid and don’t live in Virginia (where our wedding would take place) and she took the time to talk me through her thoughts and help put my mind at ease, it felt like I was talking to a lifelong friend. On our wedding day, she arrived with such a great energy and made sure we stayed on time and got things DONE. Like I was warned, time does slip fast that day and she made sure we got everything done that we needed. She knew exactly when to come up to me to snag me for sunset pics, which were being threatened by rain. Her and her assistant were watching the radar like hawks and were literally planning things minute by minute to ensure the 10 minute gap in rain that we went outside to do the sparkler exit and photos in our get away car. She wasn’t afraid to tell people to kindly but firmly move to make sure we stayed on track to get pictures. And as if my mind wasn’t already blown away, she had us jump in a rain puddle at the end of the night and kick water AT HER. She was literally getting dirty, cold, muddy water splashed all over her and in her face and it didn’t even phase her, she just said “keep kicking!” Lol I could seriously cry just thinking about how grateful I am for her and she is worth every penny and more. Lastly, on top of alllllll of that, her work is BREATHTAKING. The talent that this woman has is indescribable. If you don’t hire Anna, you’re missing out on the best photographer on this planet. My husband and I used Anna Bowser Photography for our wedding and could not be more pleased! Anna is flexible and creative, organized and efficient, professional and personable. It POURED rain during our engagement session, but that didn’t stop her from capturing gorgeous, colorful photos! This incredible lady crawled around in the mud, photographed from under a bush, and hiked all around the grounds of our engagement session looking for colorful trees. During our wedding, she and her assistant captured every detail in exquisite style. They were professional and unobtrusive, yet kept things moving along and had a well-thought-out process. Anna was willing to work with me to plan every single detail of the day down to the minute and communicated quickly through email and text. She is very experienced and was able to offer excellent advice. We received back so many photos and we treasure them! The prints we ordered are lovely and high-quality. I cannot recommend ABP enough! Anna was absolutely incredible at the proposal photo shoot my now fiance set up for us. She met us on the top of Sharp Top at the Peaks of Otter, and secretly set herself up to take photos while he proposed! And then we had an epic mountain top photo shoot in the change of clothes he packed. Anna was absolutely amazing to work with, and had the perfect balance of letting us soak in the moment and capturing it all. We new we had to book her for our wedding right away!

Anna was incredibly fun and easy to work with. She was receptive, attentive, and personable through the whole photography process- from our first meeting to our engagement session all the way through the final shots of our wedding night. We undeniably made the right choice with Anna Bowser Photography. The only problem is picking our favorites because there are too many amazing photos to choose just a few. We met Anna accidentally while on a hike. We immediately knew we wanted to have her as our wedding photographer and we are so glad that we did! Anna was very easy to work with, very professional and her photographs are amazing! We loved her sense of adventure and our mountain engagement session. We also love all of our wedding photographs, it was very hard to pick our favorites!

Anna traveled to the Dominican Republic in May for our wedding and I could not have asked for a better experience. She is one of those people that you immediately feel like you’ve known your entire life. I trusted in her work 100% and let her take the lead...and let me tell you, she did not disappoint. I wanted photos in the pool and in the ocean and she was more than down for the adventure/challenge of getting into the Caribbean current at sunrise. I would recommend Anna to each and every person I know! I also recommend letting her passion take over and going with he flow rather than directing each shot—I promise she knows what she is doing! I will cherish the photos forever and will use her for all milestones in the future.
