What more can I say? Angie McPherson is a *goddess* wedding photographer. My husband and I loved working with Angie from our initial inquiry all the way through to follow-up and receiving our final gallery (we also included an album in our package, and I *cannot* wait to see it!). Angie is so fun-loving and full of positive energy. She makes you feel like a model and makes taking hundreds of photos easy (which is NOT easy for me). I tend to be awkward and tense up in front of a camera, and Angie was so genuine and helpful. Our engagement photo session as a perfect "lesson" in how to be in front of the camera, and I am so glad that she includes that as a part of her wedding packages. Our bridal party and families loved Angie on our wedding day, and she and her second shooter, Moriah, captured our day BEAUTIFULLY. They did such a wonderful job from small details to catching genuine, candid moments, the emotion and joy of our day, and even the dance floor. Both of them were so fun (I call them our personal hype-women), and I am so happy that they were a part of our day. Y'all - Angie was 7 months pregnant on our wedding day, and you would have never known it from the smile on her face and the energy she brought. She is incredible, professional, and so talented. Angie makes you feel and treats you like a friend she's known forever on your wedding day. HIRE THIS WOMAN!

Angie was great to work with! She was highly responsive and flexible when scheduling our engagement session around my husband's crazy Navy schedule. On the day of our wedding she was there to capture every moment. She even had a spare dressy hanger to photography my dress (I forgot mine). I would highly recommend Angie for your wedding day needs. I LOVE our photos.

My cousin’s wife is a photographer, and she helped us with a preliminary search by checking out local wedding photographers on Instagram. After looking through the options she provided, we liked Angie’s style the best. She was also super fun to work with! We did not originally plan on doing an engagement photo session, however Angie recommended it and it allowed us to get to know each other before the big day.

On the day of, she scouted out the best places to shoot our first look photos and they are gorgeous! Our venue was the Virginia Air and Space Center, which looks really cool, but the layout of the museum certainly provided a challenge regarding angles and lighting! (My cousin’s wife commented on the difficulty photographing there) Angie did not seem phased at all, and our photos turned out fantastic! Thanks Angie for capturing the memories of our special day so beautifully!

Angie is great! She was very responsive to emails and produced awesome work quickly. She was also very accommodating with our limited engagement photo timeline. All of our wedding guests loved the sneak peak photos she released and are recommending her to their friends. She is very down to earth and works to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Angie is the best! She is so much fun to work with and makes the entire experience relaxed and beautiful. She is very responsive when it comes to emails and answered all of my questions and even gave great tips and advice. She and her team are punctual, knowledgeable, and so much fun to work with. She does amazing work and I would recommend her to anyone. I would love to continue using her in the future.

Angie was great to work with! She was always very responsive through email and was available for a skype meeting or a phone call. Angie shot both our engagement session and wedding. When my husband and I first met with Angie for our engagement photos, she brought such a positive energy and made us feel very relaxed. She gave helpful guidance on posing/adjusting our clothes/etc which was really important given that we had never taken professional photos together before. We loved how she captured our wedding day. We really love her photography style - all of the photos we received were bright and crisp. We have gotten so many compliments on how well she photographed the wedding - everything she captured was so natural! She also took photos of all the small details at the reception and we really appreciated it.

Angie usually brings a second photographer with her for wedding shoots. If you book with Angie, we’d recommend asking for an introduction beforehand just so you can also get the second photographer up to speed on the details you want to make sure are captured on your wedding day. We didn’t think to connect with our second photographer, so we felt like it was somewhat of a missed opportunity. We would absolutely recommend Angie to others! We really enjoy reminiscing about our wedding day through Angie’s beautiful work!

This post has taken me so long to write because I am not ready to admit that my relationship with Angie is over! Angie is one of a kind. I am so thankful to have met her and booked her for our October 2017 wedding. She was amazing form the first email! Angie made our engagement picture session so much fun, she even had my fiance laugh and have a good time (all ladies know men hate these shoots). Angie is so full of life and love. She really made me feel as if I was one of her friends, and I do consider myself that now :) I cannot say enough about the quality of our wedding pictures. It rained before the ceremony, but we were still able to go out and get some shots afterwards, and Angie really knew where to go to get the best lighting. I have not stopped hearing from all my friends and family about how amazing my wedding pictures are. Sometimes I feel as if they are not mine, because they look like they should be in a magazine. In addition, Angie gives you digital access to all your pictures with no watermarks (unheard of!!). You will not regret booking Angie, and she will be worth every penny! I wish I could get married again just to work with her! I recommend her to all my friends who are getting married or even thinking about it! ABSOLUTE BEST EVER!!!

Angie McPherson (Angie McPherson Photography) is an incredibly talented photographer with a great eye for detail. We were blown away by both the quantity and quality of photos she provided to document our daughter's recent wedding. She was so discreet as she moved about the ceremony and reception that we were barely aware of her capturing all the special moments, but capture them she did, and we couldn't be happier with her work. Not only did she capture the special and beautiful moments and details of the wedding, she also captured the personalities of our loved ones and friends.
