  Look no further for the most lovely wedding photographer!

  What more can I say? Angie McPherson is a *goddess* wedding photographer. My husband and I loved working with Angie from our initial inquiry all the way through to follow-up and receiving our final gallery (we also included an album in our package, and I *cannot* wait to see it!). Angie is so fun-loving and full of positive energy. She makes you feel like a model and makes taking hundreds of photos easy (which is NOT easy for me). I tend to be awkward and tense up in front of a camera, and Angie was so genuine and helpful. Our engagement photo session as a perfect "lesson" in how to be in front of the camera, and I am so glad that she includes that as a part of her wedding packages. Our bridal party and families loved Angie on our wedding day, and she and her second shooter, Moriah, captured our day BEAUTIFULLY. They did such a wonderful job from small details to catching genuine, candid moments, the emotion and joy of our day, and even the dance floor. Both of them were so fun (I call them our personal hype-women), and I am so happy that they were a part of our day. Y'all - Angie was 7 months pregnant on our wedding day, and you would have never known it from the smile on her face and the energy she brought. She is incredible, professional, and so talented. Angie makes you feel and treats you like a friend she's known forever on your wedding day. HIRE THIS WOMAN!

  Summer Wedding Photos

  Angie was great to work with! She was highly responsive and flexible when scheduling our engagement session around my husband's crazy Navy schedule. On the day of our wedding she was there to capture every moment. She even had a spare dressy hanger to photography my dress (I forgot mine). I would highly recommend Angie for your wedding day needs. I LOVE our photos.

  Up to Any Challenge

  My cousin’s wife is a photographer, and she helped us with a preliminary search by checking out local wedding photographers on Instagram. After looking through the options she provided, we liked Angie’s style the best. She was also super fun to work with! We did not originally plan on doing an engagement photo session, however Angie recommended it and it allowed us to get to know each other before the big day.
  
  On the day of, she scouted out the best places to shoot our first look photos and they are gorgeous! Our venue was the Virginia Air and Space Center, which looks really cool, but the layout of the museum certainly provided a challenge regarding angles and lighting! (My cousin’s wife commented on the difficulty photographing there) Angie did not seem phased at all, and our photos turned out fantastic! Thanks Angie for capturing the memories of our special day so beautifully!

  Angie is great! She was very responsive to emails and produced awesome work quickly. She was also very accommodating with our limited engagement photo timeline. All of our wedding guests loved the sneak peak photos she released and are recommending her to their friends. She is very down to earth and works to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera.

  Angie is the best! She is so much fun to work with and makes the entire experience relaxed and beautiful. She is very responsive when it comes to emails and answered all of my questions and even gave great tips and advice. She and her team are punctual, knowledgeable, and so much fun to work with. She does amazing work and I would recommend her to anyone. I would love to continue using her in the future.

  This post has taken me so long to write because I am not ready to admit that my relationship with Angie is over! Angie is one of a kind. I am so thankful to have met her and booked her for our October 2017 wedding. She was amazing form the first email! Angie made our engagement picture session so much fun, she even had my fiance laugh and have a good time (all ladies know men hate these shoots). Angie is so full of life and love. She really made me feel as if I was one of her friends, and I do consider myself that now :) I cannot say enough about the quality of our wedding pictures. It rained before the ceremony, but we were still able to go out and get some shots afterwards, and Angie really knew where to go to get the best lighting. I have not stopped hearing from all my friends and family about how amazing my wedding pictures are. Sometimes I feel as if they are not mine, because they look like they should be in a magazine. In addition, Angie gives you digital access to all your pictures with no watermarks (unheard of!!). You will not regret booking Angie, and she will be worth every penny! I wish I could get married again just to work with her! I recommend her to all my friends who are getting married or even thinking about it! ABSOLUTE BEST EVER!!!

  Angie McPherson Photography did an excellent job in capturing our wedding! She made a valiant effort in taking time out to make sure we were satisfied with all of our shots and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera.   Angie was great to work with! She was always very responsive through email and was available for a skype meeting or a phone call. Angie shot both our engagement session and wedding. When my husband and I first met with Angie for our engagement photos, she brought such a positive energy and made us feel very relaxed. She gave helpful guidance on posing/adjusting our clothes/etc which was really important given that we had never taken professional photos together before. We loved how she captured our wedding day. We really love her photography style - all of the photos we received were bright and crisp. We have gotten so many compliments on how well she photographed the wedding - everything she captured was so natural! She also took photos of all the small details at the reception and we really appreciated it.
  
  Angie usually brings a second photographer with her for wedding shoots. If you book with Angie, we’d recommend asking for an introduction beforehand just so you can also get the second photographer up to speed on the details you want to make sure are captured on your wedding day. We didn’t think to connect with our second photographer, so we felt like it was somewhat of a missed opportunity. We would absolutely recommend Angie to others! We really enjoy reminiscing about our wedding day through Angie’s beautiful work!

  Angie McPherson (Angie McPherson Photography) is an incredibly talented photographer with a great eye for detail. We were blown away by both the quantity and quality of photos she provided to document our daughter's recent wedding. She was so discreet as she moved about the ceremony and reception that we were barely aware of her capturing all the special moments, but capture them she did, and we couldn't be happier with her work. Not only did she capture the special and beautiful moments and details of the wedding, she also captured the personalities of our loved ones and friends. In addition to her obvious talent, I was particularly impressed with Angie's consummate professionalism. Within days of the ceremony she posted a lovely blog about the wedding complete with a wide variety of gorgeous photos that we were so happy to share with our many friends who couldn't make the trip from Florida to the Virginia wedding. Before I had completed the long drive home and was completely unpacked and settled at home, Angie had sent us a link to the entire portfolio of hundreds of expertly edited photos. That shows a discipline and focus that is hard to find these days. We are extremely grateful that we chose Angie to preserve the memories of this precious time.   I recently booked Angie as my wedding photographer and she is amazing! We recently did my engagement session (which is complementary by the way!) and she captured the best moments between my Fiancé and I. She really knows what poses to do to get the best shot. Also, she is very attentive and was open to new ideas that I wanted for my pictures. For example, I made a pinterest board of the shots I would like which included a sweater blanket and a floppy hat and she made it happen! My pictures look amazing and I cannot wait until my wedding!!

  I recently booked Angie as my wedding photographer and she is amazing!   We booked Angie for our October wedding and I couldn’t have asked for a better person. My dad is a professional photographer and when I asked him who he recommended, he said, “Angie McPherson” before I could even finish my question. She is an amazingly talented woman and an amazingly sweet human being. She answers any and all questions almost immediately and captured the sweetest photos of moments that I missed in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the day.   I could go on and on about my appreciation for Angie, but here are my top 3 favorite things about her.

From a sweet "just because" note, checking in on her AMP Brides Facebook group, or a warm text the day before your big day, by the end of the process she truly feels like a friend attending your wedding-- who happens to show up with a professional DSLR ;)

  We had the absolute pleasure of having Angie at our wedding in August of 2016. I don't know what we were thinking, but in deciding to throw together our best attempt at a wedding in one month's time (overseas family in town) we initially ruled out a photographer. I mean, we have phone cameras, uncles will have the DSLR's, and hey, we can even snap a few shots ourselves! Just before the wedding: "ehh maybe not such a good idea". We evaluated as many different photographers as we could, saw great work from Angie, and contacted her with only 2 weeks left. By the wedding fairy's miracle she happened to be available, had no reserves and was even very enthusiastic on tackling not only the short timeframe, but that our lack of physical availability due to us living hours away from Hampton Roads. In the few days leading up to our event, Angie was proactive, upbeat, and professional in her communication with us. She even made the time to send us a warm 'thank you' gift box! We somehow managed to fit in our engagement session - just 2 days before our wedding! It was in this adventure and upon meeting her for the first time we knew how lucky we were to have stumbled upon the perfect photographer for us. See, we did not account for our location set as a local Pokemon Go meet up place that weekend. We arrived to the scene (groggy after a traffic-ridden 5 hour drive from DC, wedding gear and dog in tow, missing the final checklist appointment with our venue, and changing outfits and doing makeup in the car) to hordes of Pokemon Go campers. Hordes. Grumpy couple faces, Pokeball shirts, and Pickachu beanies in our engagement photos? Nope, because Angie took over that afternoon like a pro and made it fun too! Two days later, the ceremony and reception was simply more of the same from her team - just amazing. Photo turnaround was lighting fast on an online gallery and flash drive. It was spectacular what you gave us in spite of the obstacles we chucked your way! Angie - THANK YOU.

  Booking Angie as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions I made during the planning process. My husband and I could not be any more thrilled about how our pictures turned out. Angie is an amazing photographer and went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable as well as answer any questions I had. We will definitely be using Angie again for future events and referring friends!

  I ended up seeking Angie's services for my wedding pictures after my original photographer did not work out. We were extremely lucky that she was still available on such short notice - we were two months out from our wedding - as she did an amazing job. She was extremely responsive and great to work with; although we already had engagement pictures, she encouraged us to do the complimentary engagement shoot so she could see how my husband to be and I interacted with one another. I have nothing but fabulous things to say about Angie, I love my wedding pictures and have gotten a ton of compliments on them from friends and family. Thank you for EVERYTHING, Angie!

  Wow, wow, wow! Seriously, if you guys want the absolute BEST in Virginia Beach, you HAVE to call Angie! If you want someone who will listen to what you want and truly make having your photos taken FUN, look no further. She is the sweetest! And we didn't have to wait forever to get our photos either. We even got some sneak peeks from the ceremony during our reception!! She is so FAST with getting you the photos which is a huge plus! Angie was recommended to me by my wedding planner, Holly with Just Dandy Events, and having the two of them together on wedding day was a blast!! I felt like we were all just friends having a good time, but they were there looking out for my husband and I the entire day! It was truly the best experience ever!!

  Angie was amazing! I can guarantee I will call her to capture all of our big life moments! When I first reached out she was very responsive and immediately answered all my questions and was so genuinely excited to be a part of my wedding day. The engagement shoot was a perfect opportunity to get to know each other and she made my husband and I feel so comfortable. Not even 10 minutes after meeting Angie we were talking and laughing like old friends. She is so warm and genuine, and truly loves what she does, it is easy to feel comfortable with her. I had no worries with Angie going into my wedding day. She made sure to go over every detail, and even brought up things I hadn't thought of! The entire day was picture perfect and I have amazing pictures and an album as keepsakes. I also must say I couldn't believe how quickly she was able to send me a proof of the album after the wedding. Angie went above and beyond and provided so many special touches along the way! She is very talented and I'm so happy to have worked with her!

  I could not have imagined a better photography to shoot my wedding day than Angie! Where do I even start? She is a GEM! She is quick at responding and great at communicating with you. She makes sure she knows what you want and that everyone is on the same page and because of this, she was one of the only vendors that did everything perfectly. She's beyond talented, she is professional but at the same time so genuine that you instantly feel comfortable. I usually feel very awkward when taking photos but she guided me and the entire bridal party and made it feel effortless and natural and it really comes through in the pictures. Asides from being extremely talented and having a lot of wedding experience, you can tell she truly loves what she does and that makes all the difference when choosing wedding vendors. During the ceremony and reception I barely even realized she was there! I've been to many weddings that the photographer always seems to be in the way or during the reception there's always flashes and lights but many of my family commented on the fact that we barely noticed her taking photos! We got a sneak peak of our photos on her blog only TWO days later! And less than a week and a half later all our photos were done. McPherson photography was a complete godsend and I highly recommend all brides to look no further!
