I cannot recommend Angela enough. she truly deserves the title of Makeup Artist of the Year. There's only a 1% chance of me taking the time to write a review, and Angela and her team have earned every bit of it. As a wedding photographer, our greatest hope is that the bride and bridesmaids are ready upon our arrival. Unfortunately, this year, we faced delays at every wedding due to extended hair and makeup sessions, significantly impacting our time for capturing essential moments. However, Angela stands out as the exceptional makeup artist this year. Remarkably, she and her team completed the makeup for all bridesmaids and the bride well before my scheduled arrival. This not only ensured we had ample time for capturing every desired shot but also contributed to the overall smooth flow of the day. We even ended up with extra time—a bonus for the bride and groom to relax. I must also highlight the beauty of Angela's salon and its charming decor. It added to the positive experience for both the wedding party and us as photographers. Angela is absolutely AMAZING and a MUST HIRE!! Working with Angela and her team was such a seamless and perfect experience. Angela did my makeup for me and my two maids of honor for my wedding day on June 3, 2023. Her team (Rosalba and Melanie) also did makeup for my other 8 bridesmaids. Angela and her team's expertise and artistry is so evident in their work. It is no doubt she is truly the best in the business! I met Angela while working for Ricky Restiano Photography about 6 years ago and we have remained friends ever since. We started with her doing my eyebrows (the only person I’d ever trust with my eyebrows!!), and then throughout the years she’s done my makeup for many events, photo shoots and weddings. Angela is not only EXTREMELY talented at what she does, but she wants to make YOU feel comfortable and HAPPY as the client. She is so patient, sweet and flexible and she truly looks out for the best in her clients. Trust in her talent as an artist and you will be so happy you did. She is extremely reliable and I couldn’t recommend her services for both makeup AND eyebrows enough! There have even been some days where she was previously booked and couldn’t do my makeup for an event, so she took the time to sit with me and show me how to do my makeup correctly myself. She now holds makeup classes here and there (check her social media to be sure as to when and where they are held) and she gave me the confidence in doing my makeup myself if she isn’t available.
