Andy Stenz is a fantastic photographer and human being, and if you have a reason and the opportunity to book him for your wedding (or even just for a fantastic couple’s photo shoot), you absolutely should do so immediately.

We first heard of Andy Stenz through our caterer, Chef Jack’s, who recommended him highly. He met us for coffee to talk about his style and his mindset regarding wedding photography, and we had such a good time chatting with him that we stayed almost 2 hours for a 1-hour meeting! It was just so fascinating for us to talk to someone so knowledgeable (he knows the wedding industry inside out), warm (he encouraged us to do our own thing as much as we could), and engaging (we had so many interests in common that it was like meeting an old friend!).

We loved working with Andy because he is engaging, entertaining, intelligent, thoughtful, and warm on a personal level, which you want in a photographer for such an important event. His work is stylish and he works hard to make sure he has the perfect shots, which can be purchased in numerous forms (albums, prints, canvases). He has tons of ideas for how to make the day all about the couple and helps make the day perfect beyond just the photography--really, he’s a man of all trades! We deeply appreciated his advice on several matters that we asked him about. Everyone loved him on the wedding day, from children to grandparents. His knowledge and skill are both very strong, and I wish we had unlimited money because we would fly to Hawaii for an annual (well, okay, maybe it would be every 5 years) photo shoot with Andy. He’s the best professional and the only person we could have imagined taking photos of us on our wedding day. I could go on and on about his skills and how wonderful he is, but I don't want you to spend any more time reading this review. Andy is an amazing photographer and a beautiful person. He worked smoothly with our busy day, gave us time to celebrate during our day and helped support us in so many little ways. How many times does your photographer come to the rescue when you need a track for the guarder toss? Andy even made the day extra special for our families with short beloved sessions with our parents. We really could not have asked for anything more and it all comes from the fact that Andy loves his job!

Andy is way more than just a photographer- he's an awesome person who can photograph your wedding day while also helping out with the schedule to keep everyone on track and organizing people for group shots- He got a lot of great shots on our wedding day that were made possible only because he had the vision and the drive to make them happen! We were blown away by how many of the photos we got back were our favorites! We loved that Andy always had time for us- we didn't feel like "just another client" to him- in fact, he was so helpful and quick to respond to our emails that we felt like there were no other clients. Andy felt more like a great new friend than a wedding photographer. He's still the only person we refer to by name; everyone else was "the DJ" or "The florist", but Andy has always been just Andy. :) Before we chose our photographer we worried a little bit about being "stiff" in our photos, but Andy made it so easy for us to feel relaxed and comfortable having our photo taken! We loved how fun the experience was.

Andy did a phenomenal job for our wedding! He was professional, yet fun and laid back. If you want a no-stress photography experience, go with Andy! Neither of us like to be photographed, but Andy made it easy. His photos are fantastic, and you gain a friend in the process. Thank you, Andy!

Andy is an amazing photographer. We just got our engagement pictures back and they were amazing! Not your standards stiff engagement shots. He asked us questions, had us play games and captured the true emotions in our relationship.

My wife and I were blown away by Andy's work. His kindness, sound advice, and responsiveness are only out-shined by his professionalism and photography. We also did an engagement photo shoot with Andy which gave us the opportunity to get to know him and his style. I would highly recommend doing that. He used those photos to make a guest book which turned out awesome.

You couldn't possibly go wrong by hiring Andy for your photography. I was SO happy with the photographs and got so many compliments from people. I would say he will exceed your expectations. He has a talent for getting the most natural looking photos out of couples. I honestly can't say enough good things about Andy's talent!

My Mom, who tends to shy away from pictures, said it best during the preparation on our wedding day: "He's so nice and just so comfy, I didn't even realize he was there...I really like him!" After being to many weddings, and sadly seeing photographers who tend to be more obvious and intruding on the ceremony, I really wanted someone who would do an awesome job, yet not take away from the biggest day of our lives....and that someone was Andy! He caught special moments, that in the craziness of your wedding day flying by, I didn't get to let soak in, and moments that I had even forgotten about...but now have them all in print!
