We cannot say enough wonderful things about Andrea Simmons Photography! Andrea captured our wedding day more beautifully than we ever could have imagined. The photos are absolutely stunning — not only the big, important moments, but also the small, in-between details and emotions that made our day so special. Looking through our gallery truly felt like reliving our wedding all over again, from the laughter to the happy tears to the energy and the love.

Andrea’s artistry, care, and calm presence made all the difference. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and it shows in the photos. Our images are treasures we will hold onto for the rest of our lives, and we are so grateful to share them with our family and friends.

Cross Posting: I cannot express how happy we are that we chose Andrea for our wedding photography!!! She was unbelievable to work with and was such an amazing vendor to have on our special day. When we had our first call with Andrea to connect and chat about what we were looking for in a photographer, we knew she was a fantastic fit. Our engagement session was a few months after initially chatting with her and it was SO much fun too!! She has a great eye for backdrops and poses - we were so happy with how that initial session with her turned out. From her wonderful attention to detail in photos to all the little meetings or texts between the two of us, she made planning such an easy process. My husband and I decided to go without a wedding planner so planning on my own was a lot to take on, especially the few months leading up to the day. Andrea helped me create/tweak a day of timeline and worked with me on the little details I may forget that is necessary for wedding day photos. We booked Andrea in 2022 to shoot our engagement photos in the summer of 2022 and our wedding photos in May of 2023. From our very first conversation with Andrea she was polite, professional, willing to work around our schedules and accommodations and overall just a pleasure to work with.

We traveled across the country for our engagement photos and Andrea travelled to meet us, and showed us some areas she knew of to take photos. They turned out beautiful, as did all of our photos in all of the venues she shot at. She put us at ease at we really had no idea how to take "good" photos and directed us to help bring out the best in our shoot. After the shoot, she edited the pictures in a very short turnaround and presented them back to us well before we expected to see them. We had so many compliments on our photographer and everyone wanted to know who took our photos.

The months leading up to our wedding we had multiple conversations with Andrea about timelines, what photos we wanted, what type of candid photos we liked and so much more. She provided us a full booklet of her previous wedding work with different venues, ideas, tips and tricks to get the most out of the photos and common wedding timelines and multiple options on how to fit in everything we wanted. When it came time for the wedding, she reached out about a week before letting us know that she had booked herself for 8 hours of shooting on our wedding and only charged us for 7 hours, she said it was her mistake and to think of it as a wedding gift. We would have gladly paid for that time, but Andrea continued to go out of her way to be the best vendor we hired for the wedding.

On the day of, her and her partner were fantastic, got thousands of great photos, shot us at the venue and as well as our first look location and another venue close by. The edited photos we got back were incredible, and we are still getting compliments on them and people wondering who took our photos and how we found such an awesome photographer.

My advice to anyone planning a wedding or a special event is this. The day flies by and you're hopefully left with great memories and great photographs. If you book with Andrea, I guarantee you won't have to worry about the photographs.

Dealing with wedding vendors was a nightmare for the most part, but my spouse and I both agree that if we had to do it again, Andrea would be the very first call we'd make, as she was far away the best to work with. She is not just an incredible photographer but an excellent editor, with a great eye for detail and lighting / shot location and can make any sort of setup look absolutely stunning. She is worth every penny and so much more, and I would recommend her and her work for any occasion you want to remember. You may find cheaper and you may find more expensive photographers, but I bet you won't find any better.

We were so grateful Andrea was able to fly in from Maine to Seattle, WA to be our photographer! She captured every moment and every detail so beautifully, the flow of outdoor colors and our decor was beautiful. She did an amazing job!

We are from out of state. My husband contacted Andrea when we got engaged in Cape Elizabeth (in the freezing cold in Feb.) and did an incredible job. We decided to have her do our wedding photos when we came back up in October 2012. And I can only say that they were breathtaking. We had a dark romantic wedding and she was able to capture every aspect of my vision. She had our previews the next day and an extended preview within days to come. She was attentive professional and overall amazing and I couldn’t say anything better about her she was amazing! I would highly suggest her you will not regret it.

I’ve known Andrea for a little over a year now. We’ve shot at a styled even together and my now husband and I hired her for our engagement and wedding events. She’s a friendly, really easy go-with-the-flow type of person. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and she made it fun. She listened to us and met our every need. We got married only yesterday, 10/18/2020 and she already has sneak peeks for us. When I received them, I cried! I would recommend her to ANYONE! I absolutely cannot wait to see the rest!

My now-husband and I are not “photo people” and do not exactly feel confident in front of a camera. Andrea managed to be so professional (communicative, organized, on-time) yet also so casual and easy-going during the wedding itself that she made us feel very comfortable. AND, even better, we are IN LOVE with the finished product! Her eye for composition, light, color, and ability to capture genuine human emotion is incredible! Stiff, boring wedding photos these are not! We get big smiles on our faces whenever we look at the photos and agree that Andrea was the best vendor we hired. Would hire her again (and recommend her to others) in a heartbeat! Also, for what it’s worth, we planned a last-minute elopement. Andrea was so professional and responsive that hiring her was the easiest part of planning!

Andrea is awesome - she took great photos, and made us feel comfortable even though we both hate having our photos taken. She's got an incredible eye for surprising photos, and ones that really captured the silliness and range of emotion going on. We loved having her, and the photos!

Andrea was fantastic. I hardly noticed her taking pictures at the wedding, which was exactly what I wanted, and the photos came out amazing! She was response, seemed to understand exactly what I was looking for without much instruction and super accommodating.

Andrea was fantastic! We booked her before her prices went up so we received a great deal. She did our engagement shoot on the coast also. She is a very relaxed photographer. She is not uptight or intimidating at all. We loved all of our photos from our engagement shoot even though I hate being photographed! She made all the photos feel and look natural and not forced. She was very flexible and easy to communicate with. I will definitely be recommending her!
