Our wedding day had unexpected weather, but thanks to Amy, every moment was captured with beauty and grace. Despite the rain, Amy was prepared with back up locations for our wedding photo shoot, adapting to the changing weather conditions (rain, sun, and fog). Her communication was excellent throughout: always clear, prompt, and full of insightful ideas that enhanced our experience. Her patience and flexibility gave us great comfort and ease throughout the whole day.

I cannot recommend Amy Carr highly enough as a professional wedding and event photographer. I have produced events professionally, so I have worked with many photographers over the years. Recently, when my stepbrother spontaneously decided to hold his wedding here in California while our family was gathered with virtually no lead time, he asked that I produce this event for him - which I was, of course, happy to do. I reached out to Amy, and she quoted us a fair price and was immediately accommodating and responsive. She showed up on time, was unobtrusive and calm in an pressured situation, as it was raining and we had to move the event indoors on the fly, with limited time to do so at the venue. Any remained calm and gently accommodating throughout all of this shuffling, and was warm and highly professional. She managed complex interpersonal dynamics and less than optimal lighting and setting conditions to produce absolutely lovely photographs that my family was thrilled to receive and will continue to cherish. What more could you ask of from any photographer, really?

Amy was first very prompt with her response and helped me greatly with planning my vision for my wedding. Not only was she wonderful to work with, but she also worked very well with another photographer and a videographer that I hired. Her contract and flexibility made the process much less painful. Amy captured the most beautiful candid moments of our wedding. She gave us great direction and had a positive attitude the entire time. Our schedule was running behind and she agreed to stay an extra half hour to capture the cake cutting which we really appreciated. Not to mention I was a classic Covid bride and had to reschedule with her THREE times, but I received nothing but positive words and support from her. She is a joy to work with, highly recommend.
