Mrs.Linh Nguyen, president, is proud of her new jewelry business venture in the United States although she is not new to business! Ms. Nguyen owned 6 large electronics stores in Saigon City, Vietnam when just 18 years-of-age. Arriving in the United States at age 30, her intention was to become a pediatrician; she attended school and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, obtaining a B.A. in Biology in 2002 and a B.S. in Psychology in 2004. She worked when attending school and it came to her exposure to work for 3 different jewelry big chain stores (Ben Bridge, Gordon (Zales Corp.), and Kay (Sterling Corp.) jewelers) in 3 years. She found the new interest in the jewelry trade and feel it a better the fit for her life. She opened her first jewelry store in Austin in 2005. Despite being the top sale person every jewelry stores she worked for or for her own later, she wanted to have more knowledge to help customers better, she attended school from Gemological Institute of America and gained the title Graduate Gemologist in 2008. She obtainedComputer Aided Design Jewelry Design technology training and purchased the Matrix CAD software and wax milling machine to her store from Gemvision Corporation in 2009. She gained Laser Welder technology training and purchased the Laser Welder from Laser Star Corporation in 2011. Mrs. Nguyen subsequently gained CAD Design Associate Degree of Applied Science in Jewelry at Austin Community College in 2012, graduate with honor. She gained another technology training and purchase 3D printer fromDigital Wax Corporation in 2013. She is now learning Computer Science at Austin Community College and will bring her IT department to the next level of marketing using the power of the web. When she worked in three different jewelry chain stores such as Ben Bridge, Gordon, and Kay Jewelers she gained some experience about diamonds, gemstones, and the trade. However, she found she was disappointed in the way these stores conducted business such as their weakness in custom design jewelry and customer service. She finally figured out that nothing would make her happier than working for her own ideas, fascinating customers with new designs, providing the best quality merchandise, and offering the best customer service. Her store now is a complete full service from a design scratch to wax, to cast, to set stones to be a final jewelry product, and to issue appraisal for insurance purposes. Customers can have their dream rings to be made. She currently offers trading in estate jewelry for new jewelry or cashfor unwanted silver, gold, platinum, palladium, pearl, colorgemstones, and diamonds. Most of the repairs for jewelry, watches, and eye-glasses can be done in one hour since she has extended 3 more experience staffs: Terry Barner (Graduate Diamond and Jeweler) and Huy Nguyen (Graduate Diamond, Jeweler, CAD Designer, and Photographer).
