Amanda has a talent of finding great light in sometimes dark situations, good/not too posed positions, and is passionate about her career. Amanda went with us to Amsterdam for a private ceremony and will also photograph our reception with family and friends post Covid-19. Beyond the quality of her craft, when planning a wedding, especially a destination elopement (like us) a vendor's responsiveness is key- and a huge deciding factor: Amanda always responds. Her overall nature and personality is calming and enthusiastic, without over-kill and she makes her client's feel comfortable. My husband is very much an introvert and Amanda did excellent coping with that aspect while also capturing intimate and beautiful moments from our wedding day. The timeliness and presentation of the the photos exceeded my expectations, and of course the product was amazing. I would definitely recommend Amanda for any event requiring photography, especially in "moody" locations- her willingness to travel and offer traveling for elopements is such an added bonus, I'm thrilled that all my "wedding" photos from home and abroad will have the same touch. She's great and easy to work with!

You dream of the perfect wedding and how all the little details that you put into planning will to life, but they wouldn't have been so incredibly brought to life if it wasn't for Amanda. We just got our wedding photos and are absolutely blown away by the love, laughter, and details that she captured, including the little things we didn't even know we needed. From the moment we started working with her, we knew we picked the right person. She is a light to be around and work with. She guided us from our engagement shoot all the way through our wedding exit with grace and laughter along with us. She guided us every step of the way, kept to our timeline allowing us to enjoy our cocktail hour, pulled us for our portraits when she knew it was going to rain so we didn't miss out on the photos we hoped to capture. To say that we are obsessed with our wedding pictures would be an understatement. Amanda captured every moment of our day and we are so fortunate to have all these pictures to look back on. We had the best time with her through the entire day. She was up for running into the snow with us to capture some great moments. She was responsive with the questions we had and was just truly a joy to work with and have during the best day of our lives. I cannot recommend her enough. You will not regret it!

I felt instantly connected to her profile/her passion for why she did what she did, so I chose her out of the list presented to me by my wedding planner almost immediately. Since that moment, she communicated and responded very well. She made me feel at peace. She was organized and prepared. In person, she was everything I expected - and more- and our pictures are sooooo lovely. She even sent us a USB and thank you card and printed a few pics out for us as well. Loved her! I cannot recommend Amanda enough!! My wedding photo book is like 250 pages with 1000+ photos because I couldn't decide which photos I liked the best. Every single photo Amanda took was unbelievable. Leading up to the wedding Amanda was super responsive and helpful. She worked with us on the timeline for the day and gave us her recommendations based on what she’s seen has worked best. On the day of the wedding, she was super efficient with her time which allowed us to not miss nearly any of our cocktail hour and reception, which was something that was really important to me and my husband. Also, for two people that are not used to taking a lot of photos, it felt so natural! Amanda took the most beautiful candid photos. And her price was spot on!!

We loved, loved, loved having Amanda as our photographer. She was super fun to be around and- oh yeah- a world-class photographer. Living outside of NC, she was very knowledgeable of and guided us through several options for engagement photos, charting out the scenery and vibe for each. Once there, she was that special kind of photographer who could direct us where to stand, where to catch the best light, etc., without it necessarily even feeling like we were being photographed. It was easy, breezy fun, and we got some gorgeous pictures out of it. She was also a calming presence amid the frenzy of the wedding day- she knew where she'd be and when she'd be there. Overall, we couldn't recommend Amanda more and look forward to working with her again in the future.
