Exceeded Expectations on ALL Levels

Amanda has a talent of finding great light in sometimes dark situations, good/not too posed positions, and is passionate about her career. Amanda went with us to Amsterdam for a private ceremony and will also photograph our reception with family and friends post Covid-19. Beyond the quality of her craft, when planning a wedding, especially a destination elopement (like us) a vendor's responsiveness is key- and a huge deciding factor: Amanda always responds. Her overall nature and personality is calming and enthusiastic, without over-kill and she makes her client's feel comfortable. My husband is very much an introvert and Amanda did excellent coping with that aspect while also capturing intimate and beautiful moments from our wedding day. The timeliness and presentation of the the photos exceeded my expectations, and of course the product was amazing. I would definitely recommend Amanda for any event requiring photography, especially in "moody" locations- her willingness to travel and offer traveling for elopements is such an added bonus, I'm thrilled that all my "wedding" photos from home and abroad will have the same touch. She's great and easy to work with!

Photos of a lifetime

You dream of the perfect wedding and how all the little details that you put into planning will to life, but they wouldn't have been so incredibly brought to life if it wasn't for Amanda. We just got our wedding photos and are absolutely blown away by the love, laughter, and details that she captured, including the little things we didn't even know we needed. From the moment we started working with her, we knew we picked the right person. She is a light to be around and work with. She guided us from our engagement shoot all the way through our wedding exit with grace and laughter along with us. She guided us every step of the way, kept to our timeline allowing us to enjoy our cocktail hour, pulled us for our portraits when she knew it was going to rain so we didn't miss out on the photos we hoped to capture. She does it all. If you want the best, she is it! We love her and forever will have all our special moments documented with her blessed gift of an eye and art for photography. Thank you x a million.

Pictures we will cherish for the rest of our lives!

To say that we are obsessed with our wedding pictures would be an understatement. Amanda captured every moment of our day and we are so fortunate to have all these pictures to look back on. We had the best time with her through the entire day. She was up for running into the snow with us to capture some great moments. She was responsive with the questions we had and was just truly a joy to work with and have during the best day of our lives. I cannot recommend her enough. You will not regret it!

Amanda exceeded our expectations and brought our vision to life better than we ever imagined. Her eye, expertise and professionalism resulted in a flawless weekend and provided images that I can't even believe are real. Her collaborative approach, patience and calming presence throughout our entire wedding weekend was priceless. She and her team didn't miss a moment and with everything else going on, we didn't have to think about anything related to photography because we knew she had it covered. She is an absolute savant at her craft and was a true joy to work with.

Amanda was amazing, from beginning to end! I felt instantly connected to her profile/her passion for why she did what she did, so I chose her out of the list presented to me by my wedding planner almost immediately. Since that moment, she communicated and responded very well. She made me feel at peace. She was organized and prepared. In person, she was everything I expected - and more- and our pictures are sooooo lovely. She even sent us a USB and thank you card and printed a few pics out for us as well. Loved her! Amanda exceeded all expectations!!

I cannot recommend Amanda enough!! My wedding photo book is like 250 pages with 1000+ photos because I couldn't decide which photos I liked the best. Every single photo Amanda took was unbelievable. Leading up to the wedding Amanda was super responsive and helpful. She worked with us on the timeline for the day and gave us her recommendations based on what she’s seen has worked best. On the day of the wedding, she was super efficient with her time which allowed us to not miss nearly any of our cocktail hour and reception, which was something that was really important to me and my husband. Also, for two people that are not used to taking a lot of photos, it felt so natural! Amanda took the most beautiful candid photos. And her price was spot on!!

Hire Amanda right now!

We loved, loved, loved having Amanda as our photographer. She was super fun to be around and- oh yeah- a world-class photographer. Living outside of NC, she was very knowledgeable of and guided us through several options for engagement photos, charting out the scenery and vibe for each. Once there, she was that special kind of photographer who could direct us where to stand, where to catch the best light, etc., without it necessarily even feeling like we were being photographed. It was easy, breezy fun, and we got some gorgeous pictures out of it. She was also a calming presence amid the frenzy of the wedding day- she knew where she'd be and when she'd be there. Overall, we couldn't recommend Amanda more and look forward to working with her again in the future.

I can’t say enough about Amanda. She made our wedding day so smooth and effortless! She was extremely detailed in her work. Everything from a misplaced strand of hair, to a forgotten ponytail on a wrist.. things most photographers would let go, she made sure each photo was thought through and perfect!! The sweetest spirit to accompany your special day

Amanda’s sweet presence and professionalism can not be overstated. Her work is beyond a job for her- it is a calling. This shines through in all she does. She brings a calm and centering presence to what can be a stressful time and clearly wants to encapsulate the beauty and significance of the day through her photos. She managed to be present and capture sweet in-between moments while also moving so quietly and gently that it felt as though she was always meant to be there. Wonderful experience!

Amanda was amazing from start to finish! We had a destination wedding, and I still found her extremely affordable. Always quick to respond to emails, very organized and on top of getting a timeline put together to make sure you get all the pictures you want on your big day! On the day of she was great at making things happen and directing the photos. When we received our final product we were blown away by the quality! Amanda got every picture I wanted and then some! Highly recommend.

Amanda made this part of our wedding day so stress free and enjoyable. She is so knowledgeable about her craft! We didn't have to worry about anything. Fantastic Photographer for Indian Wedding

Amanda traveled all the way to India to photograph my wedding! She was nothing but professional and kind to us and our families. I immediately felt comfortable around her. Due to a mistake my husband and I made in planning, one of the locations we had picked for a photo shoot didn’t work out. But Amanda quickly found another location that was just as beautiful and memorable. I’m so thankful we had her.

Always a pleasure to work with and pictures...perfect!

Amanda did our engagement photos and wedding photos. She will soon be doing our prenatal photos as well, we’re so excited! We were engaged at the beach and eloped to Yellowstone National Park. She could not have captured every moment any more perfectly. She has an adventurous heart and is very genuine. I used Amanda for my wedding day and my husband and I were completely blown away by her talent and professionalism. She was extremely reasonable price-wise, and has a multitude of pricing options based on what you are wanting (engagement portraits, getting ready pictures, etc). Amanda came in with a plan, and even got to our venue early in order to scope out potential spots for our wedding pictures. I was incredibly impressed, and cannot recommend her enough.

Let me start by saying that Amanda is hands down one of the most talented women I have the privilege of knowing! Going into our search for a photographer, I had a clear idea of what I wanted. Not your typical "bright happy posed photos." I wanted something artistic, dark, yet romantic, & alluring. Amanda was the first photographer I came across on Wedding Wire that peaked my interest. I reached out to her, as well as a couple others, hoping that she was in my budget. My fiancé & I were extremely budget conscious since we were paying for our own wedding. To my complete surprise, Amanda has a variety of package options that were flexible & so affordable. I was ecstatic that my favorite photographer was in our budget & available on our day! We met with Amanda immediately & booked her same day as meeting. Amanda is friendly, outgoing, creative & so open to everything that we wanted for our photo aesthetics. Amanda was responsive to all of our emails, met with me at the wedding venue to pick out photography locations, & made herself available to me in my other vendor searches through contacts that she had!

On the day of, Amanda & her second shooter that we booked was amazing! They arrived early to make sure everything would run through smoothly, they set a perfect time table for pictures & made sure that we got pictures with everyone that we wanted! Our couple pictures we so so so perfect & so beautiful! Amanda was encouraging & gave us perfect direction to make sure the photos were exactly what we wanted. I will 100% be reaching out to Amanda again in the future for any more family photos that we might want.

I cannot say enough how wonderful Amanda is & the value that you will get when you book her! Absolutely reach out to her ASAP! You will NOT be disappointed!!

We absolutely loved working with Amanda for our engagement and wedding photos. Amanda is extremely professional yet very personable. I get stressed out very easily and knew that I needed an easy going photographer for our day. She was so easy going and helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera! Amanda is an absolute joy to work with and my husband and I are lucky to have been referred to her. She answered any and all questions that I had, she was extremely professional, and she is honestly the sweetest person ever. Amanda documented our engagement session and our wedding day. If there were more stars to give I would!! Amanda provided engagement and wedding photos for my husband and I. We were beyond pleased with her work. I had other brides tell me that her photos topped their own and were more affordable. I believe that all of my photos are magazine worthy! She was very flexible, easy to communicate with, reasonably priced and willing to risk a broken leg to shoot in our "ideal" locations (think middle of a river :)). We enjoyed our time getting to know Amanda and would definitely hire her again for other photo opportunities.

Amanda is excellent and makes you feel so comfortable doing "you" while she captures the moments. She's organized, detail oriented, and is more than willing to help answer the questions you have leading up to the day. We only had her do our wedding day photos, but she was happy to meet us for coffee a while back to get to know each other. What can I say other than Amanda is the absolute best. She did our engagement photos, my bridal photos, and our wedding photos. I am amazed at how fabulous they all are. Amanda is very easy to work with and she put us at ease immediately. We are not usually great in front of the camera, but somehow we looked relaxed and natural in every photo. She also gets photos back to you super fast. I can't say enough wonderful things about her.

I will never be able to thank Amanda enough for the precious memories she has documented. She has given us such a gift, being able to look back at our beautiful pictures for years to come. If you want your friends and family to say things like "Omg, incredible photos" when you share them on social media then search no further. Honestly though, I don't think my wife and I could have imagined the experience being any better. Immediately after the ceremony we choose to take some photos with Amanda beyond our typical family photos and definitely recommend it. Amanda's instagram account sums up the quality and attention to detail she's able to capture. It's worth every penny, book her now before she's too famous for you to afford!

We couldn't say enough INCREDIBLE things about the absolute professionalism and personality of Amanda Sutton. She was such a fantastic photographer and we felt so comfortable with her. Upon our first meeting, she was so welcoming that we felt as though we had known her for years. She is organized, friendly, helpful, and an incredible photographer. After our engagement session, I felt so at peace knowing Amanda would be the one capturing our special day. Where do I begin to talk about my love for Amanda, not only as a photographer, but as a person and friend? We went to high school together and lost touch until we both randomly took the same photography class a few years ago. In that class, we used to talk about how we dreamed of quitting our jobs and pursuing our photography dreams. One day, Amanda took the plunge and she has soared ever since. She's been taking photos of my husband and I since we began dating over four years ago. I have never seen someone excel at their craft as quickly as she has. It goes without saying that I admire her work, but I also admire her as a person. Her bravery and determination astounds me. She is adventurous and willing to do whatever it takes to provide her clients with the absolute best. After all, she stood in the pouring rain singing us Alanis Morissette on our wedding day. Not many photographers would have done that. If I can say anything else about Amanda, it would be that she is the utmost organized and professional vendor I worked with for my wedding. We booked her very early on in the planning process and she kept in touch the entire time helping us choose the appropriate ceremony time for sunset photos and keeping us up-to-date on her wedding day timeline. We moved our ceremony at the last minute due to rain and Amanda didn't miss a beat. She was always in the right place at the right time and I never once had to worry about anything. I highly recommend Amanda to anyone, not just NC residents, looking for an amazing photographer and I'm not just saying that because she's a friend. As an amateur photographer myself, I'm very picky about who I choose to do my photos and Amanda always wins, hands-down. I have never been disappointed by her work. I have seen her grow and evolve over the years and her work keeps getting better and better. I can't wait to see what the future holds for her and I will continue to book her for as long as she's taking pictures.

Amanda is genuinely one of the sweetest most authentic souls I've ever known. She loves what she does and she loves people. Her talent is incredible and her beautiful eye for capturing real emotions and events is undeniable. From wife shot landscapes to intimate details, her photos are stunning. We have been blessed to have Amanda photograph our vow renewal on the California coast as well as our family photos in the Carolina mountains. We treasure these pictures, the memories they bring, and the easily forged friendship with this lovely lady. We cannot recommend her enough.

I loved working with Amanda, not only does she take gorgeous pictures she is very flexible and makes sure to make you center of attention on your big day. She also has a geat personality. We didn't have any problems with her at all and she took the time to make sure that we had all of our questions answered. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone.

Amanda was an absolute dream for our wedding! We had a lot of trouble in the past with previous photographers who weren't reliable and flexible. Amanda was professional, reliable and she made us feel at ease. We had a vision for our wedding and she made that a reality, a dream come true. I gave Amanda a total 5/5 because she deserves just that. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect photographer. Having a night wedding in the winter did not allow for much natural sunlight time, something that I didn't even consider would effect the pictures. But Amanda was quick to look for solutions, she offered her help in any way she could think of, without even charging a single penny more! She was always flexible, and agile; working around whatever needs arose at any moment. The photo's themselves turned out crisp and clear and edited beautifully. I am so so so so happy I went with her, and I 100% recommend her business.

Amanda is so awesome! She is super flexibile and will cater to what you want/like. As a photographer she is very professional and courteous. Her rates are good because she has packages that fit your need and also can add certain incentives a la carte if you need them. (I added a second photographer to my package.) She responds pretty quickly even during holiday season and definitley a pleasure to work with!

Working with Amanda was hands down one of the best experiences about our Big Day! We were also so lucky to have her shoot our engagement pics for us a few months before our wedding. She was so flexible as we ended uo having to reschedule our engagement session for another weekend. We even went back and forth with locations & we finally decided on an amazing location she helped us find. Working with Amanda was great because she is so down to earth and easy-going. She is willing to do just about any & everything for you. She even agreed to come shoot at our cookout the day before our wedding which I thought was so extremely nice of her, because she certainly didn't have to. The day of the wedding, we had so much fun working with her and her 2nd shooter, Kayla. Taking our first look pics & portraits during the reception where we "snuck away" were some of our favorite moments. During the actual festivities and ceremony, we didn't even notice they were there shooting away. She was great with her stealthy photographer powers lol Amanda's editing style is what I fell in love with in the first place, but after you meet her & get to work with her, you will love her for so many more reasons! She was so professional & always available to answer any questions or offer advice. We hope to use her again in the future! She is amazing at what she does & you can tell it is truly her passion. Turn-around time for photos was always on-point & her packaging of our wedding photos was so adorable.

As a full time wedding photographer, the task of picking a wedding photographer for my own wedding was daunting to say the least. I found Amanda, and after our first session with her I fell in love with her easy going attitude and artistic style. We had decided on a winter engagement session, and after a 3 hour drive to our location to our surprise a full blown blizzard was happening. We jumped out of the car and had the fastest photoshoot of our lives. I was so sad and was sure our photos wouldn't turn out well with the conditions the way they were - but I was wrong. Amanda FAR EXCEEDED any expectations we could have had and at that moment I knew I HAD to have her as my wedding photographer. On my wedding day she came in and I never once had to worry if she was getting every shot that I myself would want to get. I knew her work was phenomenal and that she could handle any situation on the biggest day of my life. When we received our beautiful gallery, I cried as I was able to relive my day through the images. Amanda will be our photographer for life, and I can guarantee that she is the best choice!

Amanda Sutton Photography is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! We could NOT be any more happy with our wedding pictures! She captured so many moments (even moments we didn't see in person!) The quality of the pictures could not be better. We were married on the beach and had lots of beach goers in our back drop. Amanda took the time to personally retouch/photoshop ALL of our ceremony pictures and it looks gorgeous! My husband and I both felt like we never even saw Amanda during the wedding because she was able to stand back and truly capture every moment without being super noticeable. Amanda did a wonderful job with our wedding photos!! I can't say enough wonderful things about this photographer! From the very beginning she was very responsive (responded quickly to all emails, phone calls, etc.); she was very professional (she provided us with a lot of information we would have never thought of and even helped with other ideas and recommendations for our wedding); her prices were very reasonable (did not charge for extras, travel, and even stayed longer on our wedding day); and she was very flexible (she did my bridal session as well - we had to reschedule because of the weather and she drove over 2 hours at no extra cost). She exceeded our expectations and we will definitely use her for all of our future photos!

Anyone who knows me at all knows that I adore Amanda. This girl is one of the most laid-back, genuine, and talented people I have ever met. I found Amanda through a mutal friend and I am SO HAPPY I contacted her. From the first email to the final song at the reception, Amanda was a true professional. She was incredibly instrumental for me as I was planning my wedding from out of state. When I needed her to take pictures of my groom and his party off site she was so flexible and willing to drive to the hotel and venue. Amanda was also very reassuring and willing to help direct any and all chaos a wedding can bring. She and her assistant took beautiful photos of my big day. Amanda and her second photographer were both wonderful. Nothing went according to schedule on the big day and Amanda actually helped me calm down because she was so flexible. She captured every picture I could have wanted. She didn't miss anything! We absolutely love our wedding photos and are so happy we have them to reflect on for the rest of our lives. First off I just want to say how AMAZING Amanda is and how sweet she is!! She listened to everything we wanted in our pictures and how we wanted them. She did my bridal portraits the week of my wedding due to me living in Phoenix and didn't come in til the week of my wedding. She did an amazing job on my bridal portraits and got them to me very quickly so I could pick out a portrait for the reception. I am in awe over all of my pictures and soooo glad we chose Amanda, if you want a photographer who listens to you and knows what you want after speaking with you, is so fun to work with and the photos are absolutely amazing? There are not enough words to explain how happy we have been with Amanda! She took our engagement photos and our wedding photos, and they have all turned out amazing!

From the moment we met her, we knew that we were going to sign the contract. She is extremely professional, yet sweet and caring at the same time. She responded to my emails quickly, and never once made me feel as if I was bothering her. She gave suggestions for photos, but also let us make suggestions as well. She is very knowledgeable, and works quickly and efficiently. We got more photos than we ever imagined. There are no "bad" photos, which makes it hard to decide which ones to print! Our wedding guests also commented how sweet and non-intrusive she was during our wedding day, yet she still got every important shot-and much more!

I would highly recommend Amanda to anyone who is looking for beautiful photos, a professional photographer, and a wonderful person to work with. We look forward to having Amanda as our photographer as our family grows over time!

Amanda was my photographer for both my engagement photos and my wedding. Right from the start she was very quick to reply to my emails and was very professional. We had the engagement shoot at a quirky location that included farm animals and dinosaurs. Amanda did such a great job utilizing the fun backdrop while truly capturing the essence of my husband's and my relationship. We have gotten SO many compliments on the photos and so many people said they are the best engagement photos they've ever seen! The wedding photos were also fantastic. The way she captured the special moments make me feel like I am reliving the day anytime I look at them.

Amanda was absolutely AMAZING! She did my bridal and wedding pictures and I couldn't be more satisfied! My bridal pics were absolutely amazing and can't wait to see the rest of my wedding pictures! She went above and beyond to help make my day very special and was very professional with all her work! I will definitely be using her again! Amanda does amazing work!!! She traveled with us for our destination wedding. My bridal pictures had to be rescheduled & she was amazingly flexible and always willing to take time to answer my questions. I have only seen a few of the pictures she took, but they are gorgeous!!!!

Amanda was an extremely vital key to our wedding, engagement pictures, and my bridal portraits. The pictures were absolutely amazing and the price was reasonable.
