Top notch seamstress. When my grandmother died, I didn't know who could possibly alter my wedding dress as well as her. Then I found Cheryl. She's amazing, detail oriented and just a joy to be around. I highly recommend!

Cheryl is a lifesaver! My original seamstress told me I could pick up my dress on on July 1. Because I was moving, we decided I would pick it up on July 2. However, when I arrived my dress wasn't finished. The owner asked me to hangout in town for a few hours while she finished (I recently moved out of state and drove a couple hours just to pick up my dress) so I waited. I now realize I should have just taken my dress and left. When I picked up my dress and tried it on, the dress fit all wrong. I was two weeks out from my destination wedding and could not trust this lady to get the job done properly and on time so I left in tears. The following day, I called up Cheryl. She was on vacation in Texas and said she wouldn't be home until the following Monday, but that she'd take my dress then. Cheryl was so kind and warm. She comforted me and said she couldn't turn me down. When I showed up on Monday, she got right to work and took out the previous seamstress's work. With only a week until my wedding, there wasn't too many new alterations she could make (luckily my dress didn't need many alterations in the first place and actually fit better after Cheryl took out the first alterations). However, she provided me with lots of tips and two-sided tape to hold the dress in place. Cheryl made my dress look so much better on me, and she made me feel super confident in it. She is such a sweet person; she clearly cares about her customers and her work. I don't know how many people who would answer their phone and take on a new (and panicked) customer while on vacation, but I am so pleased that Cheryl did. I am so glad I found Cheryl. Without her, my dress (and myself) would be a wreck.

Cheryl did a wonderful job on my wedding dress alterations! She is very friendly and it was easy to set up appointments with her. She was also patient when I wasn't sure exactly how I wanted one component of the dress altered. Cheryl offered helpful suggestions but was never pushy when it came to making a decision. The dress turned out perfectly and I cannot wait to wear it for my wedding! Your wedding gown is safe in Cheryl's hands!

Cheryl, Thank you for the beautiful work on my wedding dress! I loved the “floating” ball gown look at the front, which allowed me to show my wedding shoes. You always made me feel so comfortable during fittings with your sweetness and kindness and you made me feel amazing on my wedding day. Cheryl did alterations on my rehearsal dinner dress, and she did a fantastic job! It's just her, and she does alterations at her house, which I found to be a really nice change of pace from the high-pressure bridal store atmosphere.

The large bridal store where I bought my dress quoted me $200 for the alterations. Cheryl did the work for $35, and she did it fast. She was so kind and flexible, and she had great suggestions for what to alter to make my dress fit and not pay a fortune for alterations. One of my bridesmaids had her dress altered by Cheryl, and she thought Cheryl did a great job as well.

Ultimately, I really wish I had brought my wedding dress to Cheryl for the alterations rather than using the bridal store. If you're skeptical about the bridal store alterations and looking for an alternative, Cheryl would be a great option. I plan to continue using her for other alterations.
