We are soooooo happy we hired AinaKai!! Richard and Shiyana were the perfect photographers for us. They had a great selection of packages to choose from and were really easy to work with. They were one of our most responsive vendors - they quickly responded to all of our emails and even went out of their way to send along some of their vendor recommendations as well as wedding day photography tips. They were fun and easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable. We ended up with the most beautiful pictures of our wedding day. They did not miss a single moment!!

The only problem is that we have sooo many great pictures to choose from, it's going to be tough picking our favorites for our album and for framing!!

I LOVE Shiyana and Richard! I was so lucky to have the opportunity to work with Shiyana in January 2009 to take some "couples" photos with my then boyfriend Clark. I loved Shiyana immediately and her great work as well! When Clark and I got engaged the end of 2009, we decided to have the wedding in Hawaii within weeks. We both knew who we would want as our photographer without discussion. Shiyana was a big help in making decisions for other vendors and offered any help she could for anything else! Between Shiyana and Richard, they captured many many many (probably too many to choose from LOL) great shots of our wedding day. It was a pleasure working with them. I highly recommend them for your wedding day!!

We got married in Oahu this past May. My fiancee was working in New York and I was working in London. So planning for our wedding over the phone and online research was difficult. AinaKai was the BEST. They were very helpful, prompt and professional (something rare in Hawaii) and the sweetest, friendliest people ever. The husband and wife team work great together and EVERYONE loved the pictures they took. They took us to some great locations on the Island and were more than happy to stay back and take extra pictures where needed. 5 out of 5 on all categories!!!

Richard and Shiyana with AinaKai photography are absolutely wonderful. Their initial responsiveness was extremely timely to my requests and questions. They were helpful in everything not only photography, since I was traveling from Oklahoma. I utilized their advise on many other services and couldn't be happier. In regards to the actual day of the renewal they were attentive to every detail and flexible to taking any photographs that we wanted to take as well. Accomodating in every way. Now in regards to their work- amazing. They immediately sent me a few pictures the night of the ceremony because I couldn't wait to see them. I had tears in my eyes when viewing. They captured every look and every minute of the ceremony and captured it in a way that was breath taking. Their patience with us and willingness to go that extra mile was something I will never forget. They gave me and my family a priceless gift with beautiful photos. I have previously owned a photography studio in Oklahoma and worked in the field for years and couldn't give them higher marks for their work and dedication to the profession. Don't give up the opportunity to work with this studio. I have never been happier with photos of my family, nor had so many which was my dream to have someone take endless photos of us during this special moment. Thank you Richard and Shiyana. Quality and feel of photos: Totally exceeded our expectations and blew us away. They really know how to capture the moment and were able to put us at ease from the very beginning.

The photographers: Really nice people who went out of their way to make this a super positive experience for two camera-shy people. They are also very knowledgeable about not only photography but Hawaii weddings in general. They recommended great vendors and helped us narrow down our choice of venue. Ainakai Photography was absolutely the best decision we made for our wedding. The quality and just sheer naturalness of the pictures are wonderful! You couldn�t ask for a couple that loves their work more than Richard and Shiyana! There is a difference here with them, they are great people who love their work which in turn equals happiness for everyone. Everyone has dealt with that person who hates their work and let�s everyone know it, or there is always that vendor who just looks at you like a paycheck. Booking AinaKai Photography was one of single best decisions I made while planning my wedding. I was absolutely beyond satisfied in every way, from the value and reasonable cost, to the unbelievable quality of the photos, to their courtesy and kindness, to the amazing calming effect they left me with, and more. I wish I could talk to every bride-to-be in Hawaii to emphasize how amazing they were and what a great experience it was to have them shoot our wedding.
The husband and wife photographer tag team compliment each other perfectly, and they were both such a joy to work with.
I could not believe the unbelievable quality and quantity of the photos we received. We paid less than $1300.00 and received 4 hours of 2 amazing photographers, who produced 4 DVDs containing approximately 1200 edited photos that were given to us to print what we wanted, a hardcover beautifully printed album containing 45 of our favorite pictures printed on the pages (it looks amazing), a slide show with a song we chose, a website for our family and friends to immediately access to view pictures, and unbelievable service and professionalism on our wedding itself. They also drove us from the church to a beach on the way to our reception to take photos. They went so above and beyond to make my day stress free, doing things like helping me search for my lost vows, helping me lift my dress and making me feel relaxed and like everything was amazing.
I will never be able to thank them enough. They were both so amazing and are truly wonderful and caring professionals who embody the Aloha Spirit in their work, which is a nice thing to have around you on your wedding day.

Richard and Shiyana are a lovely couple and they love their work. They were very personable and professional. They staked out the venue before the wedding, had wonderful equipment, and were very excited for our wedding on a catamaran! They were flexible and loved our ideas, but still had a plan for what kinds of shots they wanted for different times and places of the day-evening. They were very good at getting everyone to participate in group shots and catching candid photos that we will cherish forever!! These guys know their stuff and do an amazing job on top of being great people anyone can spend a day with-doesn't get any better than that!

Richard & Shiyana were wonderful! They came with me to the wedding site to help decide how I should set things up, so the photo's would turn out great. I had told them that I wanted the shots to look candid and unstaged, and they did exactly that. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my photos. I can not rave enough about AinaKai Photography.

Thanks to Richard & Shiyana we have amazing pictures of our destination wedding. They are very nice people and took our opinion and ideas into consideration. Our pictures with the fireworks in the background are just amazing as well as all the other pictures by night.
