AG alterations was recommended to me by Leora Bridal. At my first fitting Aksinia quickly knew exactly where to nip & tuck. I was in & out within 15-20 minutes. At my second fitting my dress fit perfectly!! She reminded me to try it on a few weeks before my wedding & let her know if anything changed, but nothing did, it still fit like a glove. She was also able to make me some scrunchies from leftover material from my dress which I gave to my bridesmaids. Overall, I had such a great experience at AG Alterations & would highly recommend you bring your dress here!

I'm a local wedding planner and the owner of When Hearts Unite and I'm always referring my bride's to AG Alterations. It was finally my turn to get married and I knew that I could trust Aksinia to get my dress perfect. I bought my dress online so I was prepared for it to need alterations, but it was way bigger and had a deeper plunge than I expected. During my consultation, Aksinia took a few scrap pieces of lace from the desk and pinned it to the plunge, pinned it where it needed to be taken in and I was out of there within 10 minutes. When I came back to try it on after the alterations my dress was better than I could have ever imagined! The lace she added to the plunge V neck matched perfectly and looked like it had been made that way. Aksinia has such incredible talent. She is very knowledgeable about her craft and takes the time to walk you through her suggestions for your dress. I was anxious about having my dress altered because it was form-fitting and had no lace or beading to hide sloppy alterations. After a single fitting with Aksinia, my dress fit like a GLOVE and looks like it was custom made for me. Not only that, but I had to have a lot altered (straps, bust, waist, hem, and I added a bustle) and the pricing was very affordable. Please, use AG Alterations! And listen to her, she is a wealth of knowledge on wedding dresses and the industry.

One thing to note is that she does not have the equipment to steam dresses, so you’ll need to get your dress professionally steamed elsewhere once it’s altered. She suggested Tiffany’s Bridal, and they only charged me $100 (I think it’s free if your dress is from there).

It was wonderful to work with AG Alterations for my wedding dress! The alterations were done in a timely manner and my dress looked perfect on my wedding day and for my bridal portraits.
