You want her to alter your dress
Aksinia is the person you want to alter your beautiful wedding dress!! I bought my dress a year out from my wedding when I was 4 months postpartum...when it came in in June it fit like a glove! Fast forward to September, I had lost so much baby weight and she worked with my constantly changing body! I had 3 total appointments with her to make sure it fit like a dream! She is extremely talented at her craft and I am so lucky I found her! I cannot recommend her enough!! -

I recently had my wedding dress altered by Aksinia's alterations services, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. AG alterations was recommended by the bridal salon where I purchased my gown, and I'm so happy that I went with her!
Aksinia is truly talented, exhibiting a level of expertise and professionalism that truly set this service apart. She carefully listened to my concerns and preferences, ensuring that every alteration was tailored to my vision. The craftsmanship was impeccable; my dress fit me like a glove, accentuating my figure beautifully.
What impressed me the most was her attention to detail. The intricate lacework on my dress was preserved perfectly during alterations, showcasing the skill and care of the seamstresses involved. She also was able to show me multiple bustle options quickly to help me make a decision seamlessly. Moreover, the alterations were completed well ahead of schedule, giving me peace of mind and allowing for stress-free fittings.
The communication throughout the process was excellent. I was kept informed about the progress, and the staff was always available to answer my questions. Their helpful suggestions and creative solutions truly made the experience personalized and enjoyable. She even helped provide ideas for my second dress, which did not require any alterations, and creatively showed us in seconds different ways to present the straps on the dress.
On my wedding day, I felt absolutely stunning in my perfectly altered dress, and I received countless compliments. I cannot recommend Aksinia enough. If you want your wedding dress to be transformed into a masterpiece that reflects your vision and enhances your beauty, this is the place to go. Thank you to the amazing team for making my dream dress a reality!

Aksinia is the best! She is a highly skilled seamstress with a great taste and attention to detail. She is very honest about what is and is not possible as far as wedding dress customization ideas go. She is very creative, knowledgeable, and gives great advice! With her help, we were able to transform my (thrifted) formal wedding gown and another “after-party” dress into comfortable, well-fitting, and stylistically coherent pieces. Also, her quotes are always reasonable, the work is well executed, and on time! -

Ag is so talented!
Aksinia has such incredible talent. She is very knowledgeable about her craft and takes the time to walk you through her suggestions for your dress. I was anxious about having my dress altered because it was form-fitting and had no lace or beading to hide sloppy alterations. After a single fitting with Aksinia, my dress fit like a GLOVE and looks like it was custom made for me. Not only that, but I had to have a lot altered (straps, bust, waist, hem, and I added a bustle) and the pricing was very affordable. Please, use AG Alterations! And listen to her, she is a wealth of knowledge on wedding dresses and the industry.
One thing to note is that she does not have the equipment to steam dresses, so you’ll need to get your dress professionally steamed elsewhere once it’s altered. She suggested Tiffany’s Bridal, and they only charged me $100 (I think it’s free if your dress is from there). -

Wedding dress magic!
Askinia first helped me alter a dress, and then after much indecision on my part, then helped me combine the top of one dress with the bottom/skirt of another. It was flawless and created exactly the look I was going for. Askinia was easy to work with, always creative in her approach, and charged very reasonable prices. So thankful she was able to bring this to life with her magical skills!!! -

Ag is the best
AG Alterations is the only place to go! Aksinia worked to build my perfect dress by adding a backing and sleeves, plus a lot of size alterations. She was great to work with and is so kind! AG can do anything. -

Aksinia at AG Alternations is always one of the first recommended for brides, and with good reason! She's lovely to work with and creative when asked for something special. In my case, I had a colored crinoline I wanted to be exposed when my dress was bustled for the reception. She succeeded wonderfully and I had so many compliments. Even better, she was so EXCITED to do it and very eager to see the outcome. Aksinia was truly a pleasure to work with and I heartily recommend her for any bride. -

We highly recommend Aksinia & AG Alterations. I looked at A LOT of photos on reviews here & elsewhere & really felt like this was the place to have a dress fitted perfectly She helped make sure our every thing fit us just right for our wedding-- My bride (in a flowing pantsuit) and me, my mom, & my Maid of Honor!!!! She hemmed my dress perfectly for our first dance (lift & all!), and helped make us look & feel like movie stars- or straight from a fairy tale, and made everything fun! She helped my mother know she could still wear a tank dress with an updo & look lovely just as she is after a hair stylist suggested she wear her hair down to hide her arms & helped her feel beautiful again! She treated us with care & kindness- & honesty when we asked your thoughts on jewelry & accessories (& undergarments)! I'm embarrassed about this but I panicked at the last minute thinking my dress was too tight because of how it came out looking in a photo, & Aksinia helped me tremendously with my posture & some tips in ways that really helped the photos & made me comfortable without altering the dress again!! She was so patient & kind to me in that moment! (Sorry, Aksinia!) 😉 We are so, so happy in our choice for our wedding day! Our fittings were so fun & we loved how genuinely happy & excited Aksinia was for all of us! ❤ She is a gem, a sweet person, & an artist! AG Alterations had to pretty much re-make my wedding dress and it turned out GORGEOUS! They had to bring the dress in 3 sizes and shortened the sleeves (since I postponed to a different season). She made me feel so comfortable in my dress and I felt like it was made for me 😊 Highly recommend AG Alterations!! I do not yet have my wedding photos, but I included a picture before alterations and after from my bridal portraits. -

I needed my wedding dress taken in a good bit after being diagnosed with a health condition after buying it. AG Alterations was absolutely amazing, had my dress altered perfectly and sooner than I had expected, and was just an all around love to work with. -

Aksinia is a miracle worker with fabric! I finally found the perfect dress for my wedding day, but I didn't like the sleeves. I went to see her with no definite idea in mind for how to change them, but she immediately had her vision that perfectly matched how I wanted to look in my wedding dress.
Each visit to see her was better than the last- she's so personable and makes you feel absolutely beautiful in your gown from the very beginning. Aksinia's alterations are impeccable and the turnaround is so fast, even with the heavily detailed changes she made to my dress. Her prices are amazing and she made sure that everything was perfect throughout every step of the process. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting me on how beautiful my gown was thanks to her beautiful work.
Every girl wants to feel like a stunning princess in her wedding gown, and Aksinia's work went so far beyond how I ever imagined I would look on my wedding day. I cannot wait to get our full photo and video galleries back so I can show off the huge transformation she did for my dress.

A friend of mine recommended AG for my wedding gown and I could not be happier! The owner and her team are the absolute best and incredibly talented. I felt comfortable and confident leaving my dress for alterations. The alteration price was explained and very reasonable. My dress turned out beautiful and fit PERFECTLY!! I highly recommend AG if you live in the greater Richmond area for your wedding alterations. -

Precise and Timely and Patient!
AG Alterations helped me with a few dresses I was deciding between. At the end of the day, the dress I chose was made perfect by this team. They tapered the sleeves, added a few hooks and bustle, and added some lace so that the dress provided more coverage. The pricing was fair and they completed the alterations on time! Highly recommend. I have been back with other clothing since. -

I bought my wedding dress from Bridal Elegance, who recommended and works with AG Alterations. AG Alterations was right down the street from Bridal Elegance, so it couldn't have been more convenient. My alteration appointments (both 1st and 2nd) were speedy and productive. It is obvious that the team at AG Alterations are experts and good at what they do. My dress could not have more perfectly if it tried :). If you are looking for stressless alterations experience, look no further. -

Mike Sent on 06/06/2017I received Aksinia's name from the bridal salon where I purchased my gown. I was able to make an appointment with her for my first fitting within a few days. She even picked up my gown from the salon for me!
Aksinia did an amazing job with my gown. I needed to have it taken in a good bit (I was overly cautious when ordering for fear of having it be too small). She reconstructed the bust, hemmed the length, put in a bustle and nipped and tucked the sides and back until it fit like a glove. My gown had beading and lace appliqués all over that Askinia had to hand-sew back on. You couldn't tell it have ever been cut at all! She was super sweet and really listened when I said that I felt like we needed to tweak an area. She suggested that I wait for my final fitting, just to be sure that I didn't lose more weight, and was quick with the final touch-ups. She even offered to work on my mother's gown! I thought her pricing was reasonable and she was very easy to work.
