From the beginning, impossible to get them on the phone. Service was bad almost the entire time. Half of my guys received clothing that was wrong. My best man got his stuff two days before the wedding. I’m not sure I will use them again. I need to do more research on competitors.

I really thought this company was a good company until now. I used the black tux company to do my wedding. I purchased my tuxedo from them and did all my groomsman rentals with them. I bought my tuxedo and tried it on when I got it everything was good. My wedding got postponed due to Covid so my wedding didn’t happen until a year later which was 2 days ago August 21. This was the first time I put my tuxedo on besides when I tried it on. Halfway through my wedding reception the pants ripped on the back next to the pocket which is not a stress point on pants. I spent over $500 on this tuxedo and when I called them the day after my wedding the black tux company told me they will not give me a full refund even though there product was defective. I offered to send it back for a refund and still a no. If I wanted cheap shit I would of gone to Walmart but I wanted good quality stuff. Well the black tux company in my opinion is cheap shit and they don’t stand behind there product.

STAY AWAY FROM THE BLACK TUX COMPANY

Super disappointed. We heard a lot of good things about them so decided to rent the groom's and groomsmen suits from them...big, big mistake. For reference, all the guys sent in their measurements no later than mid-March for a July wedding. They cancelled the best man's order twice, less than two weeks before the wedding, and told another groomsman, measured BY THEM, at their store, that they didn't have the pants in his size (again, the week before the wedding) so weren't sending his order...but then sent it anyway with a suit jacket that was at least four sizes too big. Both the best man and that groomsman had to go BUY suits, and have them tailored, the week of the wedding, in an attempt to match the other guys. Also, my husband had to exchange his pant size because it was too big, and paid for express shipping (2-3 days) to get them, which took a week. And ALL of the suits arrived super wrinkled. Truly unprofessional. Would not recommend. Thank goodness for Men's Warehouse and other private tailors. They seriously saved the day.
