Working with Paul was the best. My husband and I planned a surprise wedding at home, on a very short timeline, and we were beyond thrilled to have Paul accommodate us on such a short timeline for a non traditional wedding. Given the short timeline, on a holiday weekend nonetheless (Thanksgiving 2021) he was punctual, professional, and far exceeded our expectations. This was our first time working with a professional photographer (didn’t do an engagement shoot) and the pictures were fantastic! Not only did he take the pictures we requested when we discussed our “must have” pics - he went above and beyond capturing additional moments that we didn’t even think to request. He took it a step further and basically read our minds! We highly recommend Paul, he made our day great, took the best photos, and always thinks two steps ahead. Can’t wait to work with him again in the future!!!

Paul and his team were fantastic through this entire process. He was very direct, communicative and helpful throughout the engagement shoot and day of our wedding.

We’d worked with Paul in the past capturing holiday photos and our engagement shoot, but we weren’t prepared for the incredible video and photography he captured at our wedding. We were blown away. He turned our memories into magic. His team put us at ease. They were professional and fun. We are incredibly awkward but somehow they managed to relax us in front of the camera. Paul recently took photos at our Traditional Nigerian wedding ceremony. Paul was hired by our wedding planner to take photos of decor and detail shots for her business. We had a photographer of our own who was gifting his services to us as a wedding gift. Our planner told us in advance that she'd have her own photographer and any photos she received would be shared with us. We said that was fine, because the more photos the merrier.

On the day of the wedding, we get in and our planner introduces us to Paul. We exchange pleasantries and I begin the chaos of getting ready. In the midst of the chaos, Paul finds me and tells me he needs to get my photo with my bridesmaids. I get dressed gather everyone and he starts posing us. It crosses my mind that Paul isn't the hired photographer, but I was told Paul has been hired and Paul's photos would be shared. Our hired photographer shows up to the room after and starts working and shooting around Paul, but Paul is running point moving us around, directing poses etc.

My husband and I do an outfit change and we're pulled by Paul who has lights and equipment set up in the back to take portraits. We're excited, enjoying ourselves and ready to get back and reveal our new outfits. We take photos as directed by Paul. Again our hired photographer shows up as we're finishing up, but I say no need to continue we already got some great shots.

Couple weeks after the wedding our planner schedules our exit interview and says oh Paul wants to join and show the gallery. Paul shares his screen and quickly shows us all the pictures, we ooh and ahh and are excited to relive a great night. AFTER seeing the gallery, Paul tells us it'll be $1500 if we want access to the photos. I'm caught off guard because at no point prior to this moment was a price discussed. After the call I speak with my planner and express our confusion. She and Paul have another discussion and he agrees to bring the price down to $800. At this point, it's pay the money or lose the photos. While I am still confused and frankly upset, we agree to make the payment to get the photos.

I get it, we all have bills to pay. But, if the plan was to sell us the photos, that should have been discussed and made clear BEFORE a singular photo was taken. Taking command, setting up equipment and taking multiple photos in two different outfits just to turn around and charge after the fact was very much giving tourist trap photo scam (i.e. Spider-Man on the streets of Las Vegas). Had I known there was a $1500 or $800 fee attached, I definitely would've turned down the service.

This experience left a poor taste. In my opinion, the process was extremely unprofessional and cold-hearted.
