We decided to work with Aaron and Whitney for our engagement and wedding photos because they were extremely easygoing and their portfolio speaks for itself. They contributed to a relaxed and upbeat atmosphere during our engagement session, and communication was easy from start to finish.

We had to put our April 2020 wedding on pause due to the pandemic, and Aaron and Whitney were more than willing to work with us to postpone. They were extremely flexible when we pivoted to a small, socially distanced outdoor wedding in the fall. We love how our photos turned out, and we are so grateful to Aaron and Whitney for their kindness and positivity -- especially when going through an already stressful process during an extremely trying year. They are absolutely wonderful humans, and we can't recommend them enough!

We used Aaron and Whitney for our wedding in September. What a dream team they are!!! From the first time I saw their work, I knew their style was exactly what we were looking for. We were so beyond happy with our decision! The pictures captured are editorial, capturing the moments as they came. At the same time, they made sure we had enough time to fit in the traditional wedding party and family photos. The pictures were more amazing than I ever imagined. On top of that, they are so pleasant and some of the kindest and coolest people we’ve ever met. I cannot recommend Aaron & Whitney more!!!

Aaron and Whitney were probably the only two people in the world who could get my husband and I to take photos for as long as we did and make us as comfortable as we were!
We are both used to being the ones behind the camera so to work with people who know exactly what they are doing - are clear pros. They how to work light and get the best angles of us and not make us look like uncomfortable mannequins.
We were running a bit late on our wedding schedule (who doesn't) and it was about 100 degrees and they didn't break a sweat (pun intended) we worked with the surroundings we had and the photos turned out amazing. Would recommend!!

There are no words to describe how amazing Aaron & Whitney are as people, as a couple, and as photographers. Photography is SO important to my husband and I, we actually switched photographers once we discovered Aaron and Whitney, and I’M SO HAPPY that we did. They were so easy to talk to, plan out the day of details, and most of all their photography was absolutely gorgeous. We LOVE our pictures. We had a long, HOT day, and they were so incredible from beginning to end, capturing every moment & detail. We can't speak highly enough about this couple and would highly recommend for anyone getting married!

Aaron and Whitney are simply the GREATEST! It's a toss up for which is more impressive -- their imagination, creativity and stunning photos, or their warm, fun and easy-going personalities that made working with them a total pleasure.
They are the cutest couple and make a great team, and we got to know that early on. As part of their work, Aaron and Whitney make it a priority to get to know their clients, so while we were making the decision to hire them they came to Manhattan to have drinks with me and my then-fiance Matt. That initiative says a lot about who they are and how they operate as business people -- with a personal touch that is so appreciated.
Over drinks we had a blast!! We had already seen from their portfolio that they take amazing photos, but after after spending an evening laughing and getting to know them we knew that they are amazing to be around as well.
Communication with them was always a pleasure. Emails, normally from Whit, were prompt and always just the sweetest. On the wedding day they put us totally at ease with posing for photos, made us feel comfortable and like we were the two most natural, beautiful wedding models they'd ever worked with (the lies worked like magic). Aaron is an artist, so attentive to light and shadow and setups that will be unique and stunning. How he directed us around the Brooklyn Botanic Garden was brilliant. And Whit directed the overwhelming family portraits part with such grace and efficiency. They both were just such a delight to be around that even my family and other wedding guests kept commenting.
I'd be remiss not to mention one of the most badass moments that happened during our first look at Lincoln Center Plaza. Apparently, professional photos are not permitted there, but we didn't know that. I was in the middle of making out with Matt in front of the fountain, and Aaron and Whit were snapping amazing pix, when all of a sudden a grouchy security guard started harassing us to leave. To his credit, Aaron argued calmly back and forth with the guard but NEVER STOPPED SNAPPING. Rather than simply submit, he fought for the beautiful once-in-a-lifetime moment for the bride and groom, and continued to capture it for us while he fought. It was a bizarre scuffle that really bonded us all even further and we laughed about it the whole uber ride (which Aaron and Whit paid for at the last minute since it was a forgotten detail!) to the Garden.
We are so in love with our gorgeous photos and so grateful that Aaron and Whitney were the two people we had with us to capture our most magical day.

I'll start with the photos - WOW, these are award-winning shots. Their unique documentary style coupled with gorgeous portraits are everything I wanted in capturing our special day! Beyond that, this duo is truly dynamic! Aaron wore socks during our ceremony so he wouldn't make a sound - and I often caught him in the corner of my eye in an acrobatic pose to catch the perfect shot. He'll do anything for his couple to look like movie stars! His wife, Whitney, took beautiful shots too and is the most joyful person to have by your side on such a significant and stressful day! They are happy to help beyond photos too - carrying things, pinning things, arranging things, and reminding you to breathe... So many people commented on their upbeat energy. They are solid gold. Book them!!!

From their response to my first inquiry all the way through their ensuring we loved every bit of our final album and that it arrived safely... and every single moment captured in between - Aaron and Whitney are true artists, true professionals, true documenters of love. They balance each other in such a perfect way that you as their client and seemingly friend end up getting everything you could possibly need and want in a wedding vendor and photographer. Their work made us love them, and their love and dedication for their art made me trust them (which, if you're booking wedding vendors is the only and most important thing to consider).

The memories of our wedding day will eventually be far away, but I have a permanent collection of every feeling and and emotion my husband and I and our friends and family felt on our big day thanks to Aaron and Whitney. I recommend them and only them, above anyone else.

While Aaron and Whitney are amazingly talented photographers, they are also genuinely outstanding human beings. They’re as great a team as they are individuals, and we had the most fun with them on our wedding day. My husband and I instantly bonded and felt beyond comfortable with them from the moment we met which was a weight off of our shoulders and one less thing for us to worry about the day of. They made what could have been very stressful and awkward moments extremely easy with their laid back and lighthearted demeanor. The love they have for each together as well as their work is apparent and very, very cool. We are overwhelmed by how beautiful our photos are and you can just feel the emotion through each one, which is something I admire most about their work. Aaron and Whitney truly captured every moment our day perfectly we could never ask for anything more. They are THE BEST!

Aaron & Whitney are fantastic! We are so happy with their work, and all the images we received from both our engagement shoot and our wedding. Not only did they do an amazing job as photographers, but they were a dream to work with - every email they answer leading up to shoots are detailed, friendly, and explain everything you need to know. You will not find anyone more customer-friendly than the two of them! They are so low-key and down to earth, that they don't make you feel self conscious whatsoever. It might sound silly, but we noticed that it was actually very helpful that they are married and not just two photographers in business together haha - because of this, they worked with each other completely in sync and in tune with each other - we felt it was an added benefit because they bounced ideas/shots off each other perfectly and almost read each other's minds on what was needed in the moment.
I was once told a great photographer "is everywhere and nowhere at the same time" - this truly defines Aaron & Whitney. The amount of meaningful, candid shots they achieved at our wedding was amazing - we had no idea they were even around because they were virtually invisible - they were completely unobtrusive yet didn't miss a thing! As someone who is obsessed with photos, I was thrilled when they texted us a link to some "sneak peek" shots the very next morning from our wedding - it was such an amazing surprise and we loved being able to send them to family, and post them on social media before leaving for our honeymoon. Little things like that make all the difference, and Aaron & Whitney for sure delivered! Thank you Aaron and Whitney, for the most meaningful photos - you captured everything perfectly, artistically, and full of emotion - we are so grateful, and wholeheartedly recommend you to all!

Deciding on a wedding photographer was the upmost important thing about wedding planning. I spent weeks seeking out the best and Aaron and Whitney are THE best of the best. Their work speaks for itself. I can go on and on about how talented they are, but all you need to do is peak through their albums to tell you that. What the photos don't tell you is how incredible they are as people. Professional, timely, responsive, those are all the things you look for when hiring a wedding vendor, they were all those things and So much more. They made me and my husband feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Engagement photos in your bedroom sounds awkward... not with these guys! And I'm so glad we did an engagement session because it allowed us all some time to get to know each other before the big day. You CAN NOT go wrong with Aaron & Whitney! Their work and their bedside manor are priceless. Looking back on our wedding day, hiring them as our photographers was the best decision (second to marrying my husband) ;)
