Matthew Killed It!
To be honest, we were a little worried that missing so many “traditional” elements might make the night feel awkward or leave gaps in the flow. But Matthew absolutely killed it.
He kept the energy up from start to finish, there were zero awkward pauses, and the dance floor was packed all night long. He truly nailed our playlist and blended everything perfectly so it felt completely authentic to us. The night flowed so naturally, and we never once felt like anything was missing.
If anything, he proved that you don’t need all the traditional extras to have an unforgettable party — you just need the right DJ. We’re so grateful for everything he did to make our night incredible!

Dave Nazario from A Perfect Blend Entertainment is a fantastic DJ to work with! In fact, I give out a pamphlet featuring Preferred Vendors in my photo studio's welcome packet. He's the DJ I recommend in that pamphlet. He really keeps his pulse on the mood of the guests, playing music to get everyone on their feet when it's time to get the party started. He also knows when to slow things down and let the guests enjoy their wedding cake and good conversation over dessert before ramping back up to end the party on a high note. As a professional photographer, we once worked together during couple's last song of the night. He knew I wanted a shot from the balcony overlooking the dance floor. He emceed in such a way that all the guests were surrounding the couple on the dance floor. He gave me the exact amount of time I needed to run up the stairs with all my gear. He waited until he saw my flash fire off test shots from up above, before getting the couple to kiss right at the height of the music, so I could nail my shot.
