Hiring Jeannine was the best decision that my husband and I made during our wedding planning process. I cannot express the amount of relief that I felt when we found her.. I cannot count the amount of times that she went above and beyond for our wedding.
When we found Jeannine, I was pretty overwhelmed. We decided to have our wedding on a family estate/farm that hadn’t ever hosted anything larger than a graduation party. And our guest list had grown way beyond our initial intentions. We had to bring every last fork, chair and light in to the space.
Jeannine guided me every step of the way. She gave me checklists and information that I didn’t even realize that I needed. She helped organize days for all of the vendors to come out and asses the site, which was a huge help.
My husband’s comment says it all: “I kept thinking that we didn’t need a coordinator. I didn’t even know what they did. But now that I’ve met her, I’m so thankful that we have Jeannine!”
I wish I had found Jeannine earlier, because every vendor that she suggested was FANTASTIC. The only issues we had were with vendors that I had chosen before I met Jeannine. Do yourself a favor and hire her first and save yourself a major headache.
A big stressor for us was that we were having the wedding at the private home of a dear family friend. And the idea of leaving the place trashed or out of sorts in any way gave me a lot of anxiety. Jeannine went above and beyond to make sure that everything was sorted. The owner of the house was extremely impressed and raved about Jeannine as well.
I cannot thank Jeannine enough for making my big day so unique and truly “us”. I had so many people come up to us and say that ours was the best wedding they had gone to, which is a testament to all of the detail work that Jeannine helped us through! I cannot thank Jeannine enough for all of her hard work!

Jeannine was a joy to work with. She realized that I just needed help gathering information and to be given some tips/helpful advice. She met with us monthly up until the wedding where she was our coordinator. She knew the Packard (our venue) very well and because of that I felt no hesitation that she had everything handled...and I mean EVERYTHING. She helped us the week of, to set up the day before, to tear down at night and was always a hidden figure throughout the night. She was also there to help when I had a major dress dilemma and she was calm and made sure we figured out the best plan...makeup removal=hairspray! I feel bad just getting to this review, but I hope it helps anyone in need of an amazing coordinator!
Jeannine was awesome from the start to the end. Always reassuring us that she had everything under control. We met a few times with her just giving her our ideas, and she made them a reality. We had a wedding where it as a la carte, and we had to provide everything but the venue itself. We ended up hiring Jeannine and her crew to set up and tear down our wedding, and has Jeannine be our reception coordinator. We rented a Uhaul for everything we had to deliver to the venue. Jeannine and her team unloaded the Uhaul, set up the venue, and once it was done they packed it all back into the Uhaul for us to pick up the next day. This was by far the best decision we made for our wedding day. There would've been no way we could have done it on our own with the venue we chose. You owe it to yourself to contact Jeannine, you will have plenty on your plate leading up to your special day!

I can't imagine my wedding without Jeannine. It would of been too stressful. She goes above and beyond and stays on top of everything. I thought she was amazing before the wedding, helping me with planning, timelines, and communicating with vendors, but at our actual wedding she was literally a life saver. I had nothing to worry about. She constantly checked in on me to see if I needed anything. She made sure we stuck to our timeline so we did all the "required" things for the night. She is basically an angel and I love her.

Jeannine is hands down the most amazing wedding planner! Her prices are very reasonable and she is very personable! We loved meeting and working with her. The night before the wedding my mother in law decided to suprised us and get chiavari chairs due to the ones we used being dirtier then we expected. Jeannine was able to find a last minute vendor to deliver the chairs for us! She was a miracle worker! Jeannine had wonderful ideas as to how make the decor fit the venue! She also did our backdrop for our ceremony which turned out beautifully! My husband and I cannot say enough amazing things about Jeannine! We highly recommend working with her! She is an amazing person and wedding planner!

Jeannine is hands down amazing! I cannot tell you how many times I said I wanted something, changed my mind, only to decide I wanted it the day before the ceremony and Jeannine delivered and got me what I wanted at a price the fit into my price range. She has a great eye for detail and while setting up for the reception, she would not stop until it looked just right. I planned my wedding from out of state and I could not have done it with out her. She found us the best rental prices. I had an outdoor wedding and to this day, guests at my wedding still talk to my mom and in-laws about how beautiful and wonderful the ceremony and reception all were. I highly recommend working with Jeannine. She has many connections and knows how to handle crisis situations when they arise, as al weddings seem to do. You won't be disappointed!

I would recommend A Charming Affair to all my family and friends events. I really enjoyed working with Jeanine. She made the wedding planning process fun and enjoyable. I work full time and I needed someone to help me plan my wedding. She kept my fiancé and I on track, and made to do list every week so we knew what had to get done. The days leading up to the event can be very stressful, but she took all the stress out of it. She made sure my whole wedding party knew where they needed to be, and she made sure I didn't worry about a thing. Having A Charming Affair was the best thing we did for the wedding. It is extremely affordable and well worth every penny. Thank you again for making my wedding so special.

Jeannine is a miracle worker. Three weeks before our wedding, our venue became unavailable. within 4 days she had found us a venue even more fabulous than originally selected. She transformed the Packard Proving Ground in Shelby township into a fantasy land.....many guests remarked ours was the best wedding ever attended. cannot say enough about the value and quality she brought to our event planning.
