ABOUT ME
As a certified wedding and event planner my goal is to make your dreams a reality. I love creating breathtaking events that exceed my client’s expectations. The look on their faces when they see their dream event come to reality is the reason I started 5 Star Affairs. That joy gives me life. I strive to design and plan events that are memorable, stress free, and one-of-a-kind, like my clients.
I was born in New York, raised in Miami, and I am of Jamaican descent. My training from Miami Dade College showcases my analytical side. My training at Beauty Schools of America paired with my cosmetology license showcase my creative side. I found my love for event planning when I planned and coordinated my favorite aunts wedding in Jamaica when I was only 16, but I got my hands on experience over the last 6 years while working at the Ritz Carlton, South Beach and Mondrian South Beach.
I enjoy every aspect of the planning process so much that I planned and designed my entire wedding. That night was incredible, and I strive to make every event I plan as beautiful and memorable as my special day.
Before starting 5 Star Affairs I was trained and certified by ABI Event Planning Academy. After attending the academy, I felt more confident than ever as a planner. I thank God for my husband, my mentor at ABI, and the support of my family who helped me to make 5 Star Affairs a dream come true.
