We are huge fans of 12 bones! Their ribs and pulled pork are the best we've ever had. We always make sure to visit when we are in town. Recently, they catered our wedding in Leicester and we were so thrilled to work with them. I communicated with Savannah and Joyce, and both of them were always responsive and answered all the questions I had. Their prices were very reasonable and all of my guests loved the food! Pick up of the food was very quick and easy and was ready right when we needed it. I cannot thank them enough! I always recommend 12 Bones to anyone looking for the best bbq. Now I can confidently recommend them for anyone's catering needs!

Loved it! 12 Bones was exactly what we were looking for in regards to finding a super-tasty but low-key space to have ~60 people. Kid-friendly (we had about 9 kids under 10 years old), they got to frolick & play in one area & the adults got to frolick & play in another. Our friends & family that had come in from all over the US could not believe the amazing food, had never had barbecue like that, and could not stop raving about it.

The staff was incredibly accommodating with all our requests, were kind & smiling through the whole thing (they have the patience of saints), and sent us home with all the leftovers (I win!).

I would definitely recommend 12 Bones to anyone planning a relaxed event like this.

12 Bones did a fantastic job catering for our wedding dinner this past May. The food was delicious as usual and was a huge hit with our 70 guests. Everyone raved about the jalapeño cheese grits (even our Midwestern relatives were a fan)! And the best part was we were able to save a great deal of money by having them cater for us buffet style.

12 Bones was awesome and easy to work with! They have so many great selections and options! They are the best value for your money as far as food goes. Everyone loved the jalapeno cheese grits, they are a must!!

12 Bones has the best BBQ in western NC! Amazing food plus easy ordering... this was the yummiest! We did this for our wedding dinner (ya know, dinner & dancing after the cermony:) and ordered extra veggie sides. Our guests ate it all... and we heard lots of people enjoyed the selection. For ribs, chicken bbq, or pulled pork, this is my fave local joint. 12 CHEERS!

We used 12 Bones for our 20 person rehearsal dinner - ordered via phone and picked up at their Arden location. Food was awesome and very reasonable - thanks much 12 Bones!

We absolutely LOVED our rehearsal dinner at 12 Bones! For a very reasonable amount, we got the entire restaurant (Sweeten Creek) for our party. They even let my mother-in-law come in and cloth the tables, do centerpieces, rearrange seating, etc. People are still talking about how delicious it was. If you want the same experience, I suggest calling them way in advance. We were able to get it just four months ahead, but I have good friends that couldn't get them for their rehearsal dinner which is more than a year away!

The BBQ, mac & cheese, cornbread, and everything we had from 12 Bones was amazing. They don't cater directly (although they have a company they partner with if you need a caterer to deliver the food and set it up, etc) which allowed us to save money by picking up the food ourselves.

Working with the catering manager Karen was a great experience. She was responsive and called me directly to communicate about my menu and then later about the concerns I had picking up the food. She worked with me to choose a menu that fit my budget and my guest count and also helped me choose the best time for me to pick up my food.
