WR: Kids Welcome Bag

Awww thats a great idea. Where did you get the bags and stuff?

Those are cute, I thought about doing something like that for the kids at the wedding.

@Chuwana: The bags were $2 from Toys R Us. I got much of the stuff inside from www.birthdaymania.com. I believe it was a total of $50 to fill all 3 bags. Looking at the pic the bag for the baby (Toy Story) seems a bit more than for the other boys so I'm going to work on adding a few more things to their bags.

@Lanai: these would probably be too much on the wedding table so I'm actually going in another direction for the wedding day. i'm doing a sports theme. Pics of the items that will be at each of their place settings is below. In the favor box they will have personalized magnets, stickers, luggage tags and a whole bunch of sports themed favors. I'm also having the calligrapher hand write a menu card for them on sports themed stationery that I will then laminate so they can have as a keepsake if they would like.

@Jacque: 2 of them are FH's nephews and 1 is my godson but I treat them all as if they were my own. You should see the craziness I get up to come birthdays and Christmas. I've been known to shock them speechless with some of the things I've come up with. They're all halfway ready to move in with FH and I as we spoil them shamelessly

That's my buddy! Good job! See, you can DIY simply by shopping. They are excellent and will def keep the nephews busy. I can see why you are the favorite uncle and auntie.

@Carole: The cat is evil incarnate. She currently in a huff because we didn't allow her to attack the bags. I'll have to be sure to lock them up carefully because I don't want to come home to find them ripped to shreds.

@SMR: If you would like to do this you should probably hit Toys R Us at least to get the bags. I predict they will sell like hotcakes so won't be around too long. As it was I almost had to wrestle some poor woman to get the last Toy Story bag
