Cost of Maggie Sottero gowns?

SummerBride, on April 4, 2010 at 10:32 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 30

Anyone know the price range of Maggie Sottero gowns? I love some of her dresses but don't want to get my hopes up if I can't afford it.

I have the Adelaide and it cost me about $600. I've seen it from $600-660.

Thanks so much, wowjunkie! Anyone else buy one of these beautiful gowns? I'm guessing there's a wide range of prices depending on the style.

If there is a particular style you are interested in, you can check prices here: http://www.bestbridalprices.com/wedding-dresses-c-1.html?designers=103

I found their prices to be consistent with what I was quoted locally.

There is a range, but most that I tried on were around the $600 mark. I did try on one that was great that was $1500, but they said that was the most expensive dress in the whole store, so I think it's an outlier.

Same with wowjunkie. Most were under $1000 but my three favorites--including the one I bought--were $1500. I got the Leoni. I went into a huge bridal shop with tons of designers and coincidentally picked out 9/10 Maggie dresses. I must really like her!

I bought mine (hilary) from someone on CL who bought 6 dresses and only wore one! I got it for a steal- $200! You just have to keep your eyes peeled. The ones in the stores I saw were all around $1000.

I paid 900 for my gown, Fiorella. Well with taxes and the plus size up charge it ended up rounding out at $1023

I was able to get my half price and the ended up being 780. I'd just look around at eBay and craigs list if you have one you reallywant but cant afford full price.

I met a rep from maggie Sottero in 2008 or 2009. At the time I was most interested in a Sottero and Midgley gown and he told me it was their most expensive at $1750. Monalisa Royale I think is around $1250 and Poppy is very popular I think its around $1100. I do love their gowns.

If you click on the link I posted earlier, you can find the prices there. Their "Our Price" is really the regular retail price. I priced several Maggie gowns locally and I found the prices to be consistent.

I just bought Summer and it was 1,100. Maggie Gowns generally run about 1,000-1,400. If you are looking for a more affordable gown try Sottero and Midgely it's her lower price line. The gowns are beautiful and run between 800-1,000. I did a lot of research on Maggie before I bought my gown. I've never seen one for less than $800 before unless it was a huge off rack sale. Happy Shopping!

Also, Royale designs basically are the higher price version of a gown because they are made from silk it's alot cheaper to just get the regular version. There were two different designs for the dress I got, Summer, and Summer Royale. I didn't want to pay the extra $300 so I just got Summer. If you're cutting costs it could save you some extra cash Smiley smile

Check out some bridal consignment stores if you have any in your area. I have a brand new one and a once worn Maggie in my shop. They are at a fraction of the original price.
