Average DJ cost

I am in the Chicago suburbs. My dj quoted me $600. That is only because he works very closely with my venue and is allowed to use their sound system and such so the only thing he has to bring is his laptop. It would cost over $1000 to book him if we were not at my venue.

Milwaukee, WI. We looked at 3 companies in the area and they were $1100-$1500. For cocktail and reception.

Mine is 1,000 for ceremony plus 6 hours of reception time.

Green Bay, WI we will be paying $1,100 (some of the packages get up to well over $2,000 by adding extra things like special lighting and photobooths)

We were able to find good deals through wedding shows and popular companies offering deals on Craigslist. The best deal I found was 6 hour reception/dance plus ceremony for $800. Typically this is over $1000 though

$400 but that's because with a buddy discount. He is a local radio VJ so we know he is legit and good. He will be there for ceremony and reception, in Sedona, AZ.

Mine is 1425 for San Diego. That's for 5 hours at the reception and microphone/speaker for the ceremony. There were less expensive and more expensive people out there but we felt like we clicked with our DJ when we talked to him.

Varies...ours is $1200 for 6 hours. There were cheaper ones that we saw, but we liked this one's personality

After much search I found one that was $750 but lowered it to 550. I learned that they range anywhere from 700- 1500. I'm in LA CA

I booked a photographer and a DJ for 6 hours each with engagement photos for $2450 total and the DJ is bringing uplighting, microphones, etc. Not sure how it breaks down from there.
