At the recommendation of friends, Christian and Eleos ventured into the world of online dating. After a brief, yet intriguing, telephone courtship the two decided to meet. Their first date, in May 2012, consisted of dinner at Paul Martin's American Grill, browsing through a pet shop and dessert at the Cheesecake Factory. Christian remembers, "Eleos seemed a bit nervous during our date, but I found that to be so cute. He gazed intensely at me throughout our entire date and seemed so interested in everything I had to say. " Eleos recalls, "Chrissy was different from all the other women I had previously dated. I wanted to know more about her and I knew I had to convince her to go out with me again." After dating for only a week, Eleos could not wait any longer and asked Christian to be his girlfriend to which she enthusiastically said yes.
