Lori, was awesome to work with! I had my daughter's wedding there April 7 2018. It was absolutely fabulous! Lori went above and beyond any of our expectations!

This review is in reference to our wedding ceremony and reception, both of which were hosted at the Cherry Grove Event Center in June 2017. To start with, the venue is incredible and deserves a perfect rating. They have done an amazing job remodeling the building into a perfect venue. All of the rooms are generously sized, including the bathrooms. The building was clean and well kept. Secondly, the food, which was catered by the Bear Den Grille, was also perfect and deserves a perfect rating.

The bad: Overall, the most concerning issue we have is the attitude and extreme lack of professionalism displayed by the coordinator after we voiced our concerns and attempted to provided suggestions for improvement. (this can be observed through the Facebook review of the venue). We feel the coordinator’s lack of professionalism is a huge issue with this facility even though the venue itself was perfect. We had an opportunity to work hand-in-hand with other staff members at the venue; they were nothing but courteous and respectful. In ending, the venue is still improving but is an amazing place to host a wedding and a reception. Over all we were very happy with our wedding. The issues we experienced could have been worked through, and had the coordinator responded appropriately to our concerns and suggestions, our review would have been much better. The miscommunication we experienced was mainly due to having a “working contract” that was not provided until after our wedding occurred. Our advice to anyone looking into this venue is to get every detail, no matter how small, in writing. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
