Jim and Pulama went above and beyond. They came to the venue a couple weeks before the big day just to get familiar with the area, demo different songs to see which ones we wanted for our wedding, they even added/learned new songs to their set because they had sentimental value to us. These guys came to the rehearsal and practiced the timing of the music with the ceremony and first dance. Their professionalism is the best I've ever seen. The quality of their music is amazing. They had us crying with the purity of the vocals and instruments, they set the exact romantic under the sea mood we wanted. They made all our guests feel like they were on the islands, one of our dear friends whose actually Hawaiian royalty said he felt like he was home. We can't thank you guys enough! You truly made our wedding unique and amazing and filled with so much love!! mahalo nui loa :)

Laura is amazing to work with. She is sensitive and listens closely to the needs of her clients but also knows when to offer her opinion. Her knowledge of weddings and the questions she asked help us think about our own wedding and many aspects that would have been overlooked otherwise. Laura genuinely cared about our wedding and did everything she could to ensure the day was meaningful and joyous for us and our guests. Her pictures speak for themselves--they are stunning. How great to know that the person behind them is so wonderful too!

Recently, I have been reviewing my wedding photos and I am just astonished how awesome my hair turned out. I felt more beautiful that day than I have ever felt in my life and I need to THANK Rita for traveling back to Los Angeles to make that possible. She has worked with MANY celebrities and has created some gorgeous Red Carpet looks for them. Both celebrities and brides are hard to please (at least I know I was), but Rita delivers. Truly, Rita is like no other hair stylist I have ever worked with before. She actually hears what you want, understands it, and then has the vision, craftsmanship, and expert skill to execute and realize your dream hair. I call her the “Hair Clairvoyant” because of her uncanny ability to “read me” and know what I want and understand what would be the most flattering style for me. She has cut, colored, and styled my hair multiple times when she was based in Los Angeles and I was able to arrange to have her fly back (from her new home in the bay area) for my wedding. THANK GOD. Although I think she is a master in all areas of hair, I truly think her forte is styling a finished hairdo. I can tell she is having fun and gets as excited as I do when my look starts to transform into something beautiful. She was SO patient during my trial listening to all my needs and wants and then took the time to actually realize it. I actually felt kind of scared that my trial hair was too perfect and that she may not be able to achieve it again on the day of my wedding. My worry was dispelled when she recreated exactly on the Big Day, except it looked even more beautiful day of. I wanted my hair longer for the day and Rita was able to put temporary hair extensions in that we're completely undetectable and matched my own hair color. She also did a killer job with styling my wedding party, my mom, and my handsome groom! Another aspect of Rita’s work that was of great importance to me is she knows how to make the style last! I wanted my hair half up with whimsical romantic loose curls. My hair tends to lose curl pretty quick, unless Rita is doing it. My hair remained the same through the first look, the ceremony, and the reception. And my hair had a very natural look without looking like it had been over-styled. I don’t know how her styles last so long. My hair even looked awesome after brushing it out a bit for our day-after-wedding-brunch. I wish she could do my hair all the time. Thanks for working some of your Hollywood magic at my wedding, Rita Marso. I truly felt like a star.

My husband and I joke that being around Rabbi Bridget is like a warm hug that you don't want to let go of. I'm not even sure where to begin when telling you about Rabbi Bridget. She exudes warmth and love and I completely forgot that I found her through Wedding Wire, I feel like we've known her for years. Throughout the course of planning your wedding, time spent with Bridget (we met with her 3 or 4 times) is time where she gets to know you as a couple and as individuals. We chose Bridget because we wanted a ceremony that was progressive, traditional and personalized. Not only did we get that (a warm, loving, personal ceremony that people continue to rave about and that we think back to fondly...oh and a Ketubah that we wrote ourselves under the steady guidance and help of Rabbi Bridget), but we got a Rabbi, friend and resource in the Jewish community. Thank you Bridget for all that you've done for us. We are over the moon to have met you, and are so thrilled that you married us.

Although our wedding was last minute and we changed the date a couple of times, Beverly and her team were wonderful, she provided above and beyond service prior to our wedding although we got the Month of Coordnation package. On our wedding day she brought along 2 assistants everything was set up exactly as we specified and then some... Happy we decided to go with Lush Weddings and Events...

Cate was the best wedding photographer we could have asked for. She was kind, helpful, responsive, and genuinely wanted to get to know us as a couple in order to capture our engagement photos and wedding day in the best way possible. Her work is stunning, and she is great at wrangling all of the family members and friends for photos on the day. She was amazing in our engagement session too, giving us clear direction and making sure we felt comfortable in front of the camera. Could not recommend her more.
