We had the BEST experience with Mark as our photographer!!! He is an excellent communicator, has a keen eye for detail, and truly made our day so special! He captured all the raw moments and we now have the most BEAUTIFUL photos to remember our favorite day!

Amanda was on top of it. She was full of energy and helped us stay on track for our ceremony. She could've just taken pictures, but instead she helped plan the wedding too. We came to her for help on answering questions we had about how to do a wedding. She was very helpful and had very wonderful ideas for pictures. They all came out so Great.

I absolutely love his work! He makes my family history look like art while capturing special moments.

My wife and I were lucky enough to retain Melinda for our wedding at the last minute. Our budget was tight, so we hadn’t originally planned to have a professional photographer. Fortunately, my parents offered to give us their gift in advance, which allowed us to hire Melinda. And we’re so thankful they did! Since we were not doing an engagement shoot, Melinda made time to meet with us in the 10 days between the wedding and when we booked her in order to answer questions and get the information she needed from us. As a same-gender couple, the question of how we would be treated by potential vendors was frequently at the forefront of our minds during the wedding planning process. Melinda showed cultural awareness regarding the LGBT community, and made us feel totally comfortable and respected. On our wedding day, we had a wardrobe crisis that involved a significant time delay. Upon being notified of this, Melinda immediately adapted to a new plan. She was clearly very experienced with wedding snafus, as she demonstrated tremendous flexibility and patience. Melinda suggested a variety of poses while also leaving room to incorporate our ideas. She was professional in every way, from her attire to the way she interacted with our guests. She even jumped in to help whenever more hands were needed, above and beyond her role as our photographer. Two and a half weeks after the wedding, Melinda sent us a “preview” of our wedding photos. Let me just say here… WOW! We were so impressed. Out of 70+, there was not a single photo we didn’t love. A few days ago (in *half* the time the contract specifies), we received our full set of fully edited images in the mail, and within those we have many more favorites. Everything about the process of working with Melinda was smooth, from signing the contract to receiving our final photos. We will always be grateful that we hired a professional photographer for our wedding - and even more grateful that we chose Melinda.

Where do I begin? Paige is the absolute sweetest human being on the planet! My now husband HATES having his picture taken, so I knew we had to find a photographer he was comfortable with. When he told me he was comfortable with Paige, we booked her! We signed our contract with Paige two years before our wedding day. We had absolute confidence that she was the perfect fit and it was SO FUN getting to know Paige and to watch her hone her craft over the last two years. By the time our wedding came around, it felt like I had another one of my best friends photographing our wedding! Paige’s adventurous spirit had us climbing onto boulders and venturing into meadows for the most dreamy lighting! The best part is Paige gave us a few sneak peaks during dinner at our reception...like WHAT?! Paige did everything to make sure she got EVERY shot I requested, including a shot with a special teddy bear I had made after my grandpa passed last year. Even though the teddy bear could have been easily lost in the craziness of our wedding day, Paige brought it to my attention and made it happen. Paige, thank you so much for everything! And we cannot wait to receive our gallery!

The short version – Blessed Wedding Photography becomes part of your wedding day, actively involved with making events run smooth, reducing bridal stress, while capturing the moments on camera and staying hidden. Photo ninjas. I wanted to put a lot of thought and care into writing this review for Blessed Wedding Photography, just as Johanna and Anna put the same into our big day. So please excuse this delayed account of our experience. We found Blessed Wedding Photography through theknot.com. We were looking for a mid-price range, local to wedding location, and packages to include all rights to all digital images and engagement photos. Engagement session – Johanna let us choose the location but she clearly did her homework, as she knew all the right spots for excellent lighting and scenery. At our request, she included our two little kids in the photos, getting them excited about smiling and being silly for the pictures. She was sure to get more intimate shots of just the two of us too. Within a very reasonable amount of time, she provided us with a link to view and download all of our photos. They turned out amazing and I gained so much confidence for our wedding day photos. What a chance to try out a company before the big day! Johanna kept in touch with us leading up to June to gather all of the wedding details and put together a photography itinerary to align with our events. Wedding day – Our wedding was in the morning (early!) and she and her partner Anna were at our hotel at 4:00 AM to take photos of the ladies getting ready. They then split up so that Anna could take photos of the guys and Johanna stayed with the ladies. Having two photographers is a must for some great parallel shots! Anna and Johanna traveled to the San Diego Safari Park and took great photos before, during, and after the ceremony. They stayed through most of the reception too. Johanna even helped to bustle my dress! Anna was attentive and brought the DJ a chair. They offer excellent customer service and attention to detail. Just a couple weeks later, they provided us with a couple of preview photos that we could use for our thank you cards. And within three weeks of the wedding, they provided us with a link to view and download all of our photos. They wanted us to have them before we went on our honeymoon. It was so thoughtful. Included in our package were a wedding photo album and a credit towards upgrading to a fancy album. We chose to not upgrade the album but the standard album does not disappoint. We chose our favorite photos and Johanna carefully arranged them into an album layout. She shared a preview with us before ordering to print. She looked it over and delicately shipped it to us. We love it. Overall, Blessed Wedding Photography makes you feel like a dear friend and you end up wishing you included as one of the bridesmaids instead of behind the camera.

Ah! Where can I start? Gabriel is not only the most talented photographer ever but was the absolute best support and personality you could have on your side. Although his work really speaks for itself his personality and passion for his works is just another reason to have be part of your special day. Gabriel is so knowledgeable about all the details about your day and really takes charge to help you plan out your day and make you feel so special. I can’t tell you how many people still talk about my wedding or engagement photos. Not only do you fall in love with Gabe’s work but you fall in love with his personality and professionalism! We can’t imagine having anyone else take our future family photos, we are lifers!!

I’m a former professional photographer and I wanted something unique to document my family. I also wanted it to be a fun experience as my children have tired of my having photographed them over the years. Fortunately, Antoine was recommended to me by one of his colleagues that also admired his work. We not only love our family portraits done in black and white and in the style of the early Vogue fashion photographers, but the entire experience was fun! While traditional family photos on the beach or in a studio have their charm, if you’re looking for something special, I wholeheartedly encourage you to entrust Antoine with your family’s memories and let his creative talents shine! — Lance

Robert did a great job taking our wedding pictures. He was with us all day long and was very flexible on the type of pictures we wanted. The results are amazing! We recommend him to anyone getting married in the San Diego area
