Wedding Photography in Bloomington

I may be biased, but I would argue that She Designs Photography is the best photography business in the area. My husband and I worked with Shelia White for our engagement, wedding, pregnancy, and baby's one-year photos (so far!). On each occasion, Shelia went above and beyond our expectations. She is extremely talented and has an eye for seeing things that will make absolutely fantastic pictures. Shelia also has a wonderful personality and is able to make you feel completely calm and at ease. All of our photos are absolutely phenomenal! We are so glad that we have such gorgeous pictures to remember some of the most important days of our lives. There is truly no price tag for the pictures that we have from Shelia. She has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She is incredibly professional, timely, attentive, and accommodating. She understands how important a role she is playing and takes it very seriously. It is also clear though that she truly loves what she does. There is no one that I would have rather had capturing our photos! I would absolutely without hesitation recommend Shelia to anyone!!

Ashley photographed our wedding and we could not have been happier with the results. She and her husband Alex were delightful to work with and they managed to perfectly capture every second of our special day. Ashley's services may seem pricey at first glance, but you get what you pay for and once you realize how much time and effort goes into her work, it is absolutely worth every penny. Katy traveled to our hometown twice for engagement photos and wedding photos! She was amazing and captured every important moment!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Danielle's photography for our wedding. We LOVE our pictures, and she took so many. We got high res images of everything in multiple color schemes, and she was fast and friendly. I'm a big fan!

We cannot recommend Sarah enough! She was super kind, passionate, and professional. Sarah was amazing at every step in our wedding photography process - meeting with us to talk about our expectations and plans, teaching us how to pose and finding the best spots to take photos on the day-of, and the photo editing - everything went smoothly. I have always been awkward with posing for pictures, but Sarah did a wonderful job helping me enjoy the process. We had an intimate small wedding in Bloomington, Indiana (about 50 guests), and Sarah helped us get pictures with everyone and got some amazing candid shots. All our friends and family love the pictures.

Chaz Mottinger is a freelance photographer in Bloomington, Indiana with training and experience as a photojournalist. My daughter and son-in-law engaged her to photograph their state park wedding ceremony, the family groups in attendance and initial wedding reception scenes. They were very happy with the resulting photos as well as with her terms of service and price. Her restrained and unassuming manner put people at ease, and the resulting pictures are very natural and capture the moment. There were many family members and friends taking pictures, but hers - particularly of the family groups - are the backbone of the collection. I highly recommend the wedding photography services of Chaz Mottinger.

Courtney Sinclair is simply the best. We worked with her and her husband, Cameron, for both our engagement photos in Chicago and our wedding weekend in Bloomington, and we were blown away by the entire experience. They are incredibly talented photographers with an eye for capturing authentic, meaningful moments. Their presence was calming, their direction was clear, and they made everything feel natural and easy. The photos speak for themselves—we’ll treasure them forever. We also highly recommend adding on Courtney’s film photo package—the texture and emotion those images capture are truly something special. We can’t recommend Courtney and Cameron highly enough’

Mackenzie was the photographer for my destination wedding. She was absolutely amazing. She scouted sites for pictures, helped with poses, and gave great direction without being in the way. She provided sneak peeks almost immediately. I love the photos I have seen so far. She has a really wonderful eye for outdoor photography and is excellent at capturing moments vs. only posed photos. She was fabulous to work with and I highly recommend her. We also used her for our engagement photos and we absolutely loved all of them.

We are so incredibly happy with our decision to have Grace (GS Photos) as our wedding photographer. She goes above and beyond from the start - she helped us get comfortable through the engagement photos, answered questions we had while planning our timeline and making sure it would work with our photography requests, and being a superstar the day of our wedding, all while being professional, fun, and organized. Grace went above and beyond our expectations and we are so thankful for her!
