We recommend Toby to any LA or surrounding areas couples. Our wedding was in San Clemente and he didn't charge travel fee. Our photos came out so beautiful. He made hubby and I looked like we belong in wedding magazines. Love him!

I booked Toby for my summer 2010 wedding. He was fantastic! He was incredibly quick to respond; I had a response to every email within 24 hours. He was willing to work with my "demandingly" long list of necessary photographs-- although if I could do it again, I would not have made that long of a list. My favorite shots were the candid pictures he took. He captured the day perfectly. It took a little while to get my photos back, maybe 3 months. But, they were SO worth the wait! The album he gave us is a treasure, just stunning. He is laid back and completely allows the people to relax, which makes for great photos.

Toby was great! He was so easy to work with and is great at what he does. We have a large family so when it came time to do family pictures he made it flow smoothly and easily. Anyone looking for a photographer should go no further than Toby! You will not regret it!! :)

Toby was awesome! From our first meeting to our final album he was professional, helpful, responsive, and fun to work with. On top of that, he is an excellent photographer and editor of the images taken. The prints, digital discs, and albums were all of the highest quality. Quality of Service
Toby has got a gifted eye and knows how to put a finished product together. In our initial meetings with Toby he said that his goal isn't to just take good pictures but to tell a story. And that he did. We had an outdoor garden wedding and when we saw the results of his photography my wife and I got all emotional all over again. I loved their attention to detail in the photography.

Responsiveness
Outside of a few face to face meetings (including the engagement session) most of our communication was done via email. He was quite prompt at responding. Most of the time he's respond the same day if not just a couple hours after I sent the email.

Professionalism
I loved his professionalism at all times. His low-key, almost calming personality really helped my wife and I feel like he was more of a 'friend' taking our pictures than a 'vendor'. We felt comfortable giving him our feedback and his response was always "sure, no problem, we can do that" and he did.

Value for Cost
The cost for his services appeared to be in line with what other vendors were charging. My wife and I had heard that if you like pictures then it's good to spend a little extra on them for the wedding. We were going to try to do the pictures on the cheap as a way to cut costs but I'm happy we didn't, money well spent.

Flexibility
This is definitely an asset of Toby's. We had our engagement session rained out about 2-3 times and Toby always quickly rescheduled. His calendar online seemed to always be up to date and that transparency was a great benefit for us. He also showed flexibility in the packages that he offered. Certain things in the package we didn't want as much and other items we wanted more of. He always said that we can 'make it work'.

Summary
Toby's the kind of person that you hire as a photographer but in the end want to add him as a friend on Facebook. Outside of his raw talent for photography, his personality is why I highly recommend him. Toby was great on all facets. The finished product is amazing and the process to create that finished product was smooth and painless.

Toby was very professional and so great to work with. We received our pictures back within a reasonable time frame and now have great photos that will last a lifetime.

Toby is not only a talented photographer but the kind of person you want to be there on your wedding day. He is friendly, accommodating and an expert at dealing with sprawling family photos - of which we had a lot! Our photos turned out better than we ever imagined and we cherish them!

Toby is a person any bride would want to have at their wedding, especially behind a camera. We used Toby for our March 14th, 2009 wedding as well as engagement photos. His work exceeded our expectations. Finding a great photographer was one of the most important aspects of our wedding day and we couldn't be happier with Toby's work. He was very professional, timely, and most of all creative. We was worried about the lighting during our ceremony since it was right as the sun was coming down but the pictures turned out just amazing. It was also bit chilly and windy on our wedding day near the beach and he was very quick allowing the wedding party to get back inside after the ceremony.
