Starting with the catering manager,the chef ,the wait staff and the bartenders everyone went out of their way to make sure we had a positive experience. The club was lovely and the food was great.I think everyone had a wonderful time at the wedding and the reception. -

Where to even begin! We searched high and low for our perfect wedding venue and once we set foot on the property here we knew we found our perfect place! The setting speaks for itself but Jessica and the whole staff treated us great and were so easy to work with. Our guests loved taking pictures with the gorgeous backdrop of the river and downtown Jacksonville and the food was to die for! We recommend this venue without a doubt! -

Florida Yacht Club is such a beautiful place to have your wedding at! I was immediately in love with the river views along with the beautiful wood-beam ceilings in their ballroom. I loved the hardwood floors in the ballroom so everyone can dance, even from their seats.
The catering manager, Jessica, was such a pleasure to work with - she was not only professional but very easy going and flexible. She responded to my emails quickly and addressed any concerns we had. Even when I was worried about my guest count being higher than expected, Jessica was able to help us figure out a solution and floor plan that worked out. The FYC staff overall was just as amazing and so nice!
Plus, the food here is also DELICIOUS! My guests could not stop talking about the appetizers (especially the crab cakes) and the gouda mac & cheese...it is to die for!!
Overall, I loved that I chose the Florida Yacht club for our wedding reception - and I would do it all over again if I could :) -

A Christmas wedding at the Florida yacht club is a must!!! They have the most beautiful trees and some of the best food and views! It was my fairytale come true! -

As a wedding coordinator it is very important for our brides to feel as though their wedding will be the most memorable day ever. I can honestly say you will receive an amazing experience and more! From working with the catering manager Jessica to their banquet manager Keith we loved working with them to accomplish the bride's goals. We can't wait to work another event there! Thank you for providing excellent hospitality to my team, guests, and especially the bridal party! -

FYC is the best venue for your wedding!
My husband and I got married 9/21/19 and I can’t rave enough about the Florida Yacht Club. We worked with Jessica from the very beginning and she was so professional & wonderful throughout the whole process. She really helped make our vision come to life! The yacht club speaks for itself with its incredible views and classy ballroom, but the staff and everyone there were so kind and accommodating to our us and our guests. Everyone spoke about how beautiful the club is and what a great wedding it was, the food and drinks were delicious and the fun never stopped. I definitely recommend having your wedding at the yacht club- it is so beautiful, you can really make it your own and everyone is wonderful! -

From the food to the décor to the service and management staff, we were treated professionally and felt that the success our event was their only concern. From day 1 we fell in love with this venue. The views are absolutely breath taking! We had our wedding here and want to relive it over and over again. Jessica, the catering coordinator, did an outstanding job helping us through the process. The service was top notch and we even had our personal assistant that helped us with anything we needed throughout the night. She was a super star! We cannot thank this venue enough!! -

Melissa Sent on 04/06/2018My husband and I are so happy we chose The Florida Yacht Club for our wedding reception! From meeting with Jessica, the Yacht Clubs Catering Manager, on our first site visit and seeing the ballroom that has wood beams and the natural look I was going for, we fell in love and knew this was the perfect venue for us! It provided us with the large ballroom we desired as well as access to the river for photos and the patio access for guests which displayed the spectacular view of the Jacksonville Skyline. The outdoor patio that was available was accessed off of the Astor Room (which is where we held the cocktail hour). There were other options for the cocktail hour, but this was a great choice for our cocktail hour since the guests were on the same level of the ballroom, but still able to go outside via the patio.
After selecting The Florida Yacht Club for our February 2018 wedding everything started to fall into place for our big day. Next, we were looking for a wedding planner and were given many recommendations from Jessica. One that came highly recommended was Jennifer Bechan. Jennifer was very familiar with the Florida Yacht Club and was the wife to the Yacht Clubs Chef. Choosing Jennifer to be our coordinator was THE BEST decision! Leading up to the wedding, whenever we had questions or concerns we could easily be in touch with Jennifer Bechan who was always available to us. She was a reliable coordinator and even met with me and my parents on multiple occasions to help us have a smooth wedding day. Between Jennifer coordinating all of our wedding needs and Jessica, the Yacht Clubs coordinator, we were very well taken care of and nothing was missing or forgotten for the day of the wedding. We HIGHLY recommend using the Florida Yacht Club as your reception AND Jennifer Bechan as your wedding coordinator! -

Helen Sent on 08/10/2016Loved working with the Florida Yacht Club for our wedding! We're not members, but the yacht club was the only place in Jacksonville that had the look that I wanted, could accommodate a plated dinner for 100 people, and wasn't crazy ridiculous expensive. The meals and bar options are about standard pricing for a wedding, but they didn't also tack on a ridiculous venue rental fee. We rented the entire second floor because they have a beautiful porch that overlooks the St. John's and having the entire second floor was awesome because we were able to keep the photo booth in a separate room and not crowd the ballroom. Not that it even would have because the ballroom is so spacious and gorgeous. We started with Heather, but Pamela took over half way through, both were so responsive and helpful with every crazy question filled email I sent. The biggest thing that impressed me was that they were able to modify the menu to accommodate my gluten intolerance. The food was delicious! Also, I was able to drop stuff off the Wednesday before the Saturday I got married which was awesome and very helpful to my family doing the set up. Everything was so gorgeous, everyone was so nice and very helpful. It was definitely a wonderful experience having our wedding at the Florida Yacht Club.
