The event team was amazing! My reception was the easiest part of my wedding to plan and prepare for. I loved everything about my reception. They understood my vision and what I wanted. Having my reception at this location was the best wedding decision I made.

We had both our ceremony and reception at Marsh Creek. I planned the wedding from Chicago, and, thankfully, my mother (who lives in St. Aug) really took charge of a lot of the details. We booked the venue about eleven months in advance, as spring is a busy time there (even then we did not get our first choice in the date). I sent Crystal what seemed like a million emails when we signed the contract in April, and she always responded quickly. My husband and I went to Marsh Creek last August (when we were down for a wedding) to meet Crystal and do most of the planning. Crystal and the staff were professional and friendly. She was organized and consistently communicated with me when needed. There was crazy weather (downpours, hail, wind) the day of the wedding, but it cleared up right before the ceremony. It then started to rain during our vows, and Crystal brought us out an umbrella (which ended up being very memorable and a great photo op!). Unfortunately, due to the rain, we were unable to get photos outside during cocktail hour, though the photos of other weddings I have seen taken at Marsh Creek are gorgeous. There were appetizers and cocktails waiting for us in the private waiting area before we were announced, and staff was very attentive during that time. The rest of the night was such a blur! My husband and I literally did not have to think about anything during the reception. It was an amazing night, and Crystal and her team kept everything running smoothly - if there were any hiccups, we had no idea (and still don't). We heard great feedback from guests - great food, bar service was on point, nice building, etc. I only wish I took the time to eat my meal! We appreciated their work so much we had authentic deep dish pizza sent to the team from Chicago as a thank you. Highly recommended!

I had my wedding and reception here October 17. I cannot rave enough about how wonderful everything was! Pirkko, who coordinates the weddings, is amazing and so helpful every step of the way. She is invaluable! It's a beautiful ceremony location and plenty of space for reception! Compared to other places in St. Augustine, prices are very reasonable for what it includes!
