The Palencia Club

Misty and The Palencia Club created the literal wedding of my dreams! I am a very OCD about events and creating the image in my head. Her and the staff made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it providing me a completely stress free day. We got married this past November and we are still having friends and family telling us what a great venue it was and how amazing the food was (we used the onsite chef - highly recommend the sweet potato fries). Palencia club had everything we needed and that made everything easy. This mostly hidden gem is everything a couple could ever want.

Misty is absolutely phenomenal. She provided excellent recommendations and stunning florals for our special day and assisted not only on the day-of, but all throughout the planning process. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our day was not only beautiful, but truly stress-free.
The Palencia Club itself is a stunning venue—elegant, welcoming, and perfect for a celebration. If you are looking for a gorgeous space with an amazing team behind it, this is it. We are still hearing from our guests about how wonderful everything was. It was, without a doubt, the most perfect day.

Our wedding at the Palencia Club was everything we dreamed it would be. Palencia Club is such a beautiful venue with friendly staff. Misty was incredibly helpful from the moment we booked the venue until after our wedding, answering all our questions and giving great recommendations. She really helped make sure our day went smoothly. Thank you!

We had our beautiful wedding at the Palencia Club, May 2024. After looking at what we believe was almost every possible venue in and around Jacksonville, we stumbled upon the Club and we were initially impressed with the beautiful outdoor space that overlooked the entire golf course. We had originally wanted a beach-style wedding, but could not find affordable options in the area and felt that the Palencia Club still offered a beautiful and almost-beach style vibe as it overlooks a massive lake, complete with lots of beautiful flower gardens, palm trees and fountains. The upstairs room that we used for our dinner was welcoming and unstuffy as it has lots of windows allowing for sweeping views of the entire golf course, sunsets and also has connected outdoor decks that overlook the outdoor space where our ceremony took place. It did not feel like a traditional ballroom which was also important to us. The Palencia Club is really is a one-stop shop venue which helped take a lot of leg work out of the planning process for us. They have all tables and chairs onsite, an Arch for your ceremony if you want to rent it and linens which you can also upgrade if you feel necessary. Misty Beasley was our day-of coordinator and offered a lot of great recommendations to us throughout the planning process. We highly recommend hiring her to manage everything behind the scenes because she knows the facility front to back – she can even build you beautiful bouquets and decorate for you – also recommend!!! Misty did an excellent job coordinating all day-of logistics on our big day. We found her to be very knowledgeable, personable and professional, direct and extremely organized. Any special requests we had, she found a way to make them happen and helped ensure that any outside vendors we used were organized and on the same page for the big day! Compared to most venues where food is prepared onsite, the food at the Palencia Club is AMAZING. We chose to serve our guests buffet style so that people could eat as much as they wanted to and offered salmon, skirt steak and pasta primavera as our main dishes. The salmon was our personal favorite, but all options were very well prepared and stayed hot and fresh for guests for the entire dinner service. We received a lot of great feedback on the food. Chef and Misty were willing to customize the menu however we wanted and they offer a variety of packages to suit any budget. We cannot say enough great things about the Palencia Club and Misty Beasley! Our day was beyond perfect, we wish we could do it all over again. Highly recommend if you are looking for a wedding venue in St. Augustine or near Jacksonville.

Our wedding at the Palencia Club was everything I ever wanted! Amazing location, great staff, and Misty in particular was wonderful! She was very responsive whenever I had a question or concern, and helped the whole process flow seamlessly. I can’t think of anything I would do differently.

Misty and Crystal did an amazing job helping me plan my mom's 90th birthday party. We had 82 guest and everyone enjoyed themselves. The food was absolutely excellent! Service, set up, flowers amazing! Truly a wonderful place to hold any type of party, reception, gathering. This is my second experience and I am sure there will be a third. Thanks to everyone at the Palencia Club for making this such a special day!

Misty was our wedding day coordinator and we could not have done it without her. The wedding day went exactly like I had dreamed and she made sure to make it a beautiful experience! With all the stress of planning the wedding, Misty was there for me every step of the way! We can't wait to go back and visit!

I have lived in Palencia for over 18 years and this was one of the first times I have used the venue at Palencia for my daughter’s baby shower. All of my guest thought it was so incredible very professional very classy.

Just had our wedding reception there. Misty and the team were FANTASTIC and we absolutely loved our reception. Misty helped me a lot along the way in planning the reception, and they were able to make quite a few last minute requests happen for us. Misty also gave a bunch of great recommendations for vendors. The Reinosa Ballroom was a beautiful setting and a had a nice patio with a great view that we used for photos and our guests hung out on it. Price was honestly pretty reasonable for such a nice venue that had a bar and catering service and pretty view. They were very dedicated. Misty even offered to take my dirty tissue from me the night of our reception (didn't give it to her but I was impressed). Highly recommend.

I know it was our daughter's wedding so we are partial but it was the most fun we have ever had at a wedding. Truly, we all had a blast. And, if anything did go wrong we didn't even know it because the staff handled everything with class and ease. The bride and groom had an amazing day, and that made my day amazing. Misty and the staff did all the all the décor and flowers, it was beautiful and I was not stressed!!!!
