Sawgrass Country Club is a private, member-owned country club; please note we are only able to host weddings, rehearsal dinners and showers for our members or member sponsors.
Uniquely situated in the heart of Ponte Vedra Beach, Sawgrass Country Club offers many options for your special day. With two beautiful Clubhouses, members can take advantage of an oceanfront view or a golf course view for their ceremony and reception. Established in 1977, Sawgrass Country Club carries many memories including being theo original home for the TPC Championship. The team looks forward to making your wedding weekend everything you dreamed it to be.
Facilities and Capacity
Sawgrass Country Club boasts picturesque indoor and outdoor spaces. Recently opened in 2021, the Clubhouse features a grand porte-coshere which leads to four tastefully structured modern room that are flooded with natural light and views of the 27-hole golf course. A beautiful Terrace attaches to all room offering an outdoor option and view for guests to enjoy the sunset. This venue is able to accommodate guest lists up with up to 200 for a seated reception and up to 350 for an hor's d'oeuvres reception. Sawgrass Country Club hosts wedding showers, engagement parties, ceremonies, and receptions.
Ceremonies:
Beach Club: The Beach Club offers two wedding ceremony areas including the Beach (permit is required through the county) and Oceans Edge Deck. The Deck carries a capacity of 60 guests.
Clubhouse: The Clubhouse has many indoor options including the beautiful Miller Room which showcases a 180-degree view of the outdoors. The Clubhouse also features an outdoor option on the course (only available during certain seasons and certain times)
Receptions
Beach Club: Oceans Edge South is a perfect location for a small intimate wedding reception of 20-25 guests. This room can also be utilized for rehearsal dinners and showers accommodating up to 40 guests.
Clubhouse: The Clubhouse features a large ballroom with vaulted ceilings and a beautiful view of the 27-hole golf course. Additionally, the four spaces can be used for various events through the weekend. Each room offers a different capacity when utilized separately making them perfect for rehearsal dinner, showers, and farewell brunches.

We had our wedding in August 2024 at the Sawgrass Country Club. Our ceremony was in the Miller room, cocktail hour was on the terrace, and recpetion was in the Atrium room. Jessica Gustine was our main contact for the venue planning. Everything was absolutely amazing! Working with Jessica from start to finish was so easy going and everything went perfectly. Our open bar, hors d'oeuvres, and dinner were all catered through the Country Club. All the food was amazing, our guests can not stop talking about it. The bar was also great! The Country Club is a beautiful venue and we are so lucky we got to have our wedding/reception there!

Perfect Wedding Venue!
Our wedding was at the beach club, and from the staff, to the food to the location everything was exactly as we hoped for! Would highly recommend Sawgrass as a venue.

Excellent - everything from ceremony to reception was perfect
Sawgrass Country Club was a beautiful place to hold a wedding and reception. Our wedding was on the golf course, with cocktail hour on the veranda and dinner and dancing in the ballroom. Everyone at Sawgrass worked closely with our vendors and everything was perfect. Almost a year later and we are still told what a fabulous wedding, esp. the food. We could not have been happier with the way everything turned out. Jessica Gustine was new to her position and could not have been more helpful.

Post wedding brunch
Donna was so helpful in putting together a last minute Sunday brunch for friends and family. The food was terrific and service was great. We all had a great time!

Wedding turned out beautiful. Venue was very convenient to have a combined wedding/reception in the same building and nice area for wedding party to get ready. Molly was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. Overall, great value and I would definitely recommend! :-)

Elegant and Exactly What We Wanted
Our experience with Sawgrass Country Club was wonderful! Jess and Jessica helped us really bring our vision to life and were so accommodating with our requests. Our layout was perfectly conducive to our wedding reception, and we really enjoyed using both the terrace and the large interior ballroom. The space is bright and open, and it was easy for guests to make their way around the room, try all of the fantastic food stations (which received raving reviews!), and dance. The team worked well with our vendors, and we appreciated the flexibility in making a specific menu item. Additionally, our private dinner was so intentionally set-up and a very memorable and meaningful part of our night.
Our wedding reception was beyond what we imagined, and we are so grateful!

Gorgeous, small intimate wedding - July 2021
We had a lovely experience with Sawgrass. Both Jessica and Terrie were wonderful to work with. I was actually stuck in England during the pandemic due to travel restrictions, so I couldn't visit the venue before hand. So this was all taken care of by my mother in law and husband. But they made me feel at ease with any questions and really helpful and accommodating with me being overseas. They had simple meal and bar options to chose from. The food was really great. We had the ceremony on the beach, followed by a reception at the new golf club building. Both absolutely gorgeous settings and views. Would recommend!

This review is for the small "Country Club" portion of Sawgrass. It is NOT what they show on the picture of this website. I just want to make that known, as what you see here and on Google searches are not at all from the actual location.
Aside from some backsliding on a few things that were previously "ok'd", I personally had an ok experience. I wish the floors had been cleaned for me at least, as my dress was covered in food and gunk (from club members) by the time I even got down the aisle. There was also supposed to have been someone there to cut/serve our cake, but no one was there. So, the groom and myself had to awkwardly start cutting and serving everyone while my mom found a server. As for the quality of the food, it was merely "ok". Dry, bland, etc.
All-in-all, there were a lot of silly rules that they make you and your guests follow, yet they don't even close down the place for the wedding they are charging you for. All evening, complete strangers (club members) kept barging in and then had the nerve to be mad that WE were there! I'm just glad the loud drunk members that were there the night before didn't show up during my ceremony... I would've appreciated feeling a little more respected for the amount of money that they ask for in that tiny building. It's outdated and old-fashioned and not in a good 'vintage' way. Luckily, my mother basically redecorated the entire ceremony and reception areas to make it as pretty as possible.
