Rich from Rockin' Out DJ Service was fantastic! He was a really enjoyable DJ and did a great job at my wedding. Rich did a wonderful job picking out music that everyone loved and kept everyone in the room dancing, without taking too much focus off my husband and I. Overall, I'm really happy with my choice in DJ and my husband and I, both, would recommend him for anyone that's about to have a wedding. He had a lot of personality and made the reception a whole lot of fun.

Although my wedding was not a large over-the-top affair, Rich Berkheimer was the consummate professional, making both my husband and I feel like our business truly mattered to him. He took the time to thoroughly research our music and his delightful sense of humor made our guests feel both welcome and entertained. I wrote a review the other day but I am not sure it posted. Rich was amazing all the way through the wedding and was willing to go along with every crazy idea we had and even participated in some of them. He was so flexible and professional, but was able to get our guests up and moving and really show everyone a great time.
I highly recommend Rich, for any occasions whether it is a graduation or a wedding he really knows how to get everyone involved and give them a good laugh!

Rich was completely amazing and went along with all of our crazy ideas! From score checks to hiking a football to the garter toss he was involved the whole time! Actually he came up with some of the ideas on his own! My husband and I were so upset that we would be missing a huge, Huge! Ravens game but he made it as if we had never missed it, and though it was a loss he made everything so fun! I highly recommend this vendor whether you are looking for something more formal or, like my husband and I, something fun and exciting Rich is your man!

Rich was phenomenal every step of the way. He assisted us in mapping out the music for every area of the ceremony and reception which was a little overwhelming at first but was fantastic because it allowed us to tailor all the music to our tastes. He gave us numerous suggestions for cute games to play at the reception that we and our guests absolutely loved. We have gotten compliments from most of our guests that our wedding reception was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding. Rich was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would recommend him to anyone.

This was an excellent dj service! Provided music for our ceremony and reception. Everything sounded great! Very professional and friendly. Followed a good timeline to keep the party flowing through all the formal stuff and played awesome open dance music. Provided lighting that looked great! We were very happy! Rich did exactly what we asked, plus some! Any e-mail sent to him received a response within 24 hours. Any question was answered promptly, and all our requests were met! I also enjoyed receiving suggestions from him as he explored new options for weddings - my walk down the aisle was to a song he suggested!

We thought our wedding was going to be a challenge for Richard but he made it happen exactly as we wanted our wedding reception to be. With the combination of our requested playlist and his playlist in addition to both the combination of his program and the one my family had, everything went perfectly as they were supposed to. Rich did a wonderful job. He played the songs that we requested, but most importantly, he did not play the ones we did not want played! During dinner, the music he selected was perfect. Afterwards, his music selection kept the party going and everyone on the dance floor for the entire reception.

Our wedding and reception couldn't have gone any smoother. Rich's professionalism and experience put my wife and I at ease, allowing us to focus on our big day, rather than directing him or worrying about what should be happening next. Rich played a great variety of music, involving all ages at the reception. And his dry wit and sense of humor was not lost on my friends and family. On July 3, 2011, we got married at the Links at Gettysburg in Gettysburg, PA. We hired Rockin’ Out DJ service and it was one the best decisions we have ever made. Rich who is the owner of the DJ service was with us every step of the way in planning our ceremony and reception. Even when things didn’t go as planned, for example we went over an hour in starting our reception; Rich remained extremely flexible and accommodated our every need.

Our event was very culturally diverse. We played songs in four different languages and we had a belly dancer. There was a lot of extra planning that came into play. Rich did his utmost to accommodate our belly dancer who performed as well. He even made great suggestions as to when she should dance in order to not cut back on open dancing.
I got a lot of compliments from my guests on how fun the reception was and how beautifully organized the DJ was. The LED lighting that he provided was top of the line and beautifully added ambiance to the room. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends & family for their events.

Rich did an amazing job and helped up out with music selections as well. The form was easy to fill out for the types of music we wanted and the songs we chose for the specil dances. The price good and well worth it.

We chose Rich with Rockin Out DJ service initially because he was by far the least expensive DJ in the area. We had actually considered just using an i-pod, but I'm so glad that we opted for Rich instead.

My husband's and my style of music is very eclectic and unique and we were so happy that even though Rich was unfamiliar with some of our music choices, he went out of his way to find the files and research exactly what we wanted. He wasn't a cookie cutter DJ playing the same-old, same-old stuff. He really took our music selections seriously and mixed it well with familiar stuff people would know.

Rich also went out of his way for some of the custom things we did at our wedding. First, I had my dad (who is a professional musician) pre-record my bridal processional so that he could walk me down the aisle. I also came in on a horse drawn carriage and the song was timed to be played exactly to that event. Rich was great at making sure it went smoothly. We also did a special slideshow during the dance section of our reception to corresponded with the father/daughter mother/son and first dance. Rich worked with our slideshow guy to time the songs exactly with the photos.

If you're looking for good service, a great price, and someone who is willing to talk you down off a ledge when you're in the final throws of wedding planning stress, Rich is your guy!
