We couldn't have asked for a better experience using Melissa for our wedding. We were thrilled with how the photos turned out but also how she captured the special moments of the day without us even realizing she was there. She blended into the background and somehow managed not to miss a beat, and give us everything we wanted.

With so many other things to worry about on a wedding day, it was such a relief to have such a professional, helpful and talented photographer. I've never felt happier or more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and I don't think anyone else could have captured it any better.

My now-husband and I met Melissa while she was photographing a friend's wedding, and we instantly hit it off. Right then, we knew we wanted her to be our photographer as well.

At our wedding, many of our wedding guests commented on how sweet Melissa is. The next day, she already had a wedding sneak up on her blog, and five weeks later, we viewed the entire album online. I hear that the average turnaround time for photographers is 2 months, so I was incredibly excited to receive the pictures so soon.

The quality of Melissa's work is wonderful. My older sister and brother-in-law are also photographers, and when they saw the sneak, they said, "Great pictures! Really nice depth of field!" Knowing that the photographers in my family love the pictures speaks highly to the quality of Melissa's work.

When my husband and I first looked through the pictures, we found ourselves laughing out loud and saying, "I love this one!" over and over. We have so many amazing pictures to look at and choose from. Melissa captured all the tears, smiles, and laughs that happened throughout the day. We are so thankful for her!

Melissa is an outstanding photographer! Not only are her photos phenomenal, she is a delight to work with. She is friendly, responsive and professional. She listened to what my groom and I were looking for in terms of pictures (candids, not many portraits) and she followed it to a tee. And her rates are more than reasonable.
A few weeks before the wedding, I asked if she could work a few additional hours on our wedding day and she was more than happy to accommodate my last minute request. She even carried my lipstick around the night of the wedding so I could touch-up my makeup! Melissa is a wonderful photographer and any bride would be lucky to work with her on their big day.

On our wedding day, Melissa and her second shooter setup an incredible 'First Look' moment which got the wedding off to an amazing start.

There aren't enough stars to rate how much we love Melissa and her beautiful photography! She did both our engagement and wedding pictures. It was most important to me to spend our money on a quality photographer to capture our wedding day, and I would not have chosen anyone else. Melissa was able to work within our budget to give us spectacular photographs. They let us set our time line and choose locations for taking our bridal party pictures before the wedding. Her and Nick came before the wedding and captured all of those special "wedding prep" moments. They stayed through the end of the day and captured every special moment of the day. And all of our photos were absolutely gorgeous. But don't take our word for it. Every single one of our family and friends just raved about all of our engagement and wedding photos. Melissa Manzione is incredibly professional and a joy to work with--you aren't going to meet a sweeter person or someone who loves photography as much as Melissa.

We hired Melissa and her husband Nick to shoot our Chesapeake Bay wedding and were so happy with our choice. Melissa is extremely professional and responsive, and made sure we had thoroughly ironed out the wedding day schedule well in advance. We had a really tight window for pictures in between the ceremony and reception, and she was able to make sure we got in a ton of pictures. On the day of, we faced very threatening weather for our outdoor ceremony/pictures, and Melissa was able to adjust the schedule on the fly to make sure we got the pictures. She took beautifully dramatic pictures of the threatening sky before it rained, and then snuck us out at the tail end of dinner for additional outdoor photos, which also turned out great. The pictures are beautiful, and we have received many compliments on them! Melissa is a steal and we would highly recommend her!

As soon as Aaron proposed I knew who HAD to be our wedding photographer. It was non-negotiable :) We pratically scheduled our wedding date around my dear friend and photgrapher Melissa Manzione's schedule. And thank God we did, because we could not be happier with the results.
Melissa takes the most beautiful photographs I have ever seen, and we were lucky enough to have both Melissa, lead photographer, and her husband shoot our wedding. It was an amazing experience. They are so much fun to work with and make taking the pictures seem so easy.
We had a great time working with them all day long, and the photographs that resulted from their MANY hours of hard work are absolutely breathtaking. They captured our wedding day in a way I didn't even think possible. They were able to capture our personalities and love for each other in such a real and beautiful way in every picture. Melissa went far above and beyond our expectations to make our wedding day easy, carefree and truly wonderful. I can't begin to describe how thankful my husband and I are to Melissa. We originaly wanted Melissa to photograph our wedding back in November 2010, but sadly she was unavailable for that date. We had already secured the church and reception site by then, so we looked for another photographer. About three weeks after our wedding, we received word from our original photography that she had lost one of her memory cards containing 2/3 of the wedding day from her camera. All pictures from the morning getting ready, formal portraits of my husband and I and our wedding party, and the entire wedding ceremony were gone. We were devastated.

We decided to re-shoot the formal pictures at least, as we really didn't have any from our wedding. I contacted Melissa explaining our situation to see if she could help in any way. It's difficult to put into words how amazing she is not only as a photographer but as a person. She immediately contacted me back saying she would go above and beyond to help us out and make sure we had the formal pictures that were missing from our wedding day. We met with her before the re-shoot to discuss the types of pictures that were missing from our wedding and she had some great ideas of ways to capture what was originally lost.

We re-shot the photos in March 2011. Melissa showed up at the hotel to capture my husband and I getting ready. From the hair to the shoes to the dress, all missing details the first time around were captured by Melissa. Part of our wedding party was able to participate in the re-shoot, so Melissa made sure to capture them as well in the photos with us.

We had a blast going around DC with Melissa that afternoon. We spent a few hours that day taking beautiful pictures in the hotel, in the park outside the hotel, outside the reception site, and around the Lincoln Memorial, where we originally took our wedding pictures.

Melissa took so many pictures, and they all turned out incredible. She is a true talent and has an amazing eye for detail and capturing a couple's love for one another. I trust her completely and will always turn to her for photos in the future.

It is an understatement to say that things happen for a reason. Although part of our original wedding day photos were lost and caused such heartache, Melissa was a true blessing and entered our lives in a time of sadness to help bring back joy. We will never forget her kindness and friendship. Thank you Melissa!

As soon as Aaron and I got engaged I KNEW there was no one else I would rather have as my photographer. Melissa was one of the first people I emailed after getting engaged to begin the planning process!

Well, even though I knew she was a wonderful friend and an amazing photographer, we could never have imagined how incredible our engagement pictures would turn out! Of course Melissa was wonderful to work with and really flexible when planning the engagement shoot. Aaron and I had a great time taking the pictures, and we were both shocked when after only an hour we had taken over 500 pictures and were done!

We absolutely love our engagement pictures and could not be more excited for our wedding day! We can only imagine how many wonderful and unique shots Melissa will capture on one of the most important days of our new life together.

Melissa was wonderful to work with! She is a true professional and is timely and thorough with regards to email communication. Melissa worked so hard to make sure that we received our photos quickly. She even completed a sneak of some wedding photos within 24 HOURS of our wedding because she knew we were leaving for our honeymoon the next day. It meant so much to us to be able to view those first photos and share them with family and friends (especially those who were unable to attend our wedding). Her prices are extremely reasonable especially given her level of talent. She is very organized and was able to provide an excellent "day of" timeline when I asked for her help in constructing one. All of our photos were finished with time to spare which made our day easy and stress-free.
