Can't go wrong with Mike!
We are not a regularly photographed couple, nor do we take up much space online, so it is fair to say we were difficult subjects! Still, Mike was quick with a joke and made us feel comfortable throughout the couple’s shoots (we did a first look), and was efficient with family photos during cocktail hour – we actually got to enjoy part of cocktail hour with our guests. Mike was game to be pulled aside for unplanned group photos and a sunset shoot.
Mike got about a dozen edited photos within less than a week of the wedding, which were really sweet to look back on at our honeymoon, and excellent to show people upon our return. The full set of approx. ~750 photos got to us two weeks after the wedding, beating his estimate of when they would get back to us. We were very pleased with the quality and variety of the photos! His online download platform for the photos was intuitive and easy to use.

The Best of the Best
Mike was truly the best decision my husband and I could have possibly made. From the time of booking, to our engagement shoot, to our wedding and beyond, Mike was a dream. He’s chill, laid back, and funny, which is just icing on the cake considering he took the most incredible pictures I’ve ever seen. He made my husband and I so comfortable for our engagement shoot. He captured who we actually are as a couple — our real smiles and chemistry. He took his time with us and was endlessly patient.
On our wedding day, Mike was the calm in the storm. Perfectly on time, he kept us all on track with ease. He captured every single moment in a way that is so REAL, yet elevated and perfect. He had fun with us and was so creative, and the final product was better than I even dreamed. His second photographer, Billy, was also wonderful, talented and fun to be around.
I will recommend Mike Sperlak Photography until I am blue in the face.
