Choosing the right photographer can be downright nerve -wracking! After all, they're the ones capturing the biggest day of your life! As soon as we met with Mary Ellen and Danny, I knew for sure we picked the best photographer for us. We had an instant chemistry, she made us feel so comfortable, and was very professional. What I loved most was how she became more of a friend and not just a vendor. As the wedding came closer she was always in contact with me and offered feedback and support that went beyond being our photographer. Mary Ellen and Danny both went above and beyond to make our day perfect! She did our engagement photos, made sure we got the most magical shots by the sunset on the wedding day, and I plan to reach out to her anytime I need professional photos in the future. We love MaryEllen and Danny so much!! They handled our engagement photos and our wedding photos. I always thought photo shoots were going to be awkward and uncomfortable but the second you meet MaryEllen those thoughts go away. She is so nice, kind and easy going. She has such an eye for the perfect spot, lighting, and pose for photos. She was able to direct our entire engagement shoot and had us laughing and feeling at ease the whole time. She really listened to what we wanted and the type of vibe we were going for and helped out for my outfit change as well lol. We never felt rushed or on a time line at all. It was like hanging out with an old friend. When it came time for our wedding, MaryEllen was so on top of things and we were able to go over everything beforehand so we were all on the same timeline. She is extremely responsive and helpful with any questions I had. She was there to take pictures of my bridesmaids and I getting ready and then headed off to our wedding location to get shots of everything before people got there. She even helped me figure out how to put on my veil and how to do my bustle! I can’t even begin to put into words how happy I am with our wedding photos. She got every single photo I wanted plus a million more. It was like reliving my wedding in her photos! Half the time I don’t even remember seeing her taking the picture that’s how good she is! The guests loved MaryEllen and Danny because they were so nice, professional but also really fun. They weren’t pushy or rude and didn’t demand photos like some wedding photographers do. She edits and gets the photos back to you in excellent time. I’ve recommended MaryEllen Otter photography to everyone I know. I can’t wait to use them in the future for maternity shoots and family photos. They are now part of our family. You will be so happy you chose MaryEllen as your photographer for your special day.

Mary Ellen has a great eye. She’s personable, funny and obviously enjoys her job and that makes the event more fun for the hosts. Mary Ellen and Danny are absolutely fantastic. I hate having my photo taken and generally consider myself to be pretty un-photogenic, but they put me so at ease that we loved every one of our photos. They took the time to get a sense of what we wanted captured, the style we liked, and our personalities and used all of that information to capture the spirit of our event.
