I spoke to a lot of my friends about their regrets when it came to wedding planning and nearly all of them said the photographer they hired didn't meet their expectations. Many of them had hired a family friend, family member, or inexperienced photog and ended up with staged, cheesy pictures and blurry candids. We wanted pictures to capture the moments that we were either going to miss or just wanted to have for years to remember such an important day. Luckily, we ran across Matt Gordon's photos and instantly knew we'd found the right person for us. We just got ours back and couldn't be happier. His photographs--even the staged ones that I requested--were breathtaking. I felt like I could relive the whole day, start to finish, just by going through these pictures.

Matt also does something most photographers don't do--he gives you the rights to the pics so you can choose when and where you want to get your pictures developed. Most photographers will post your pictures to a website and then give you a limited period of time with which to order, usually around 18 months, before you lose access entirely and can no longer get copies of your own pictures legally. Also, those photographers often require you order your pictures through them, which can mean higher fees than those you might find on your own.

Although Matt's prices seemed a little steep when I was counting my pennies as I planned, I can now say he was worth every cent and I would absolutely have paid twice what he charged to have these memories captured. Matthew arrived at the wedding site early on the day of our wedding. He was the first to arrive! Was very patient with all of the family and was very responsive to our requests. Excellent job.

Matthew was the perfect photographer for our wedding. From the start we were in sync as to what we wanted from him for one because we were so attracted to his style and for another because he went the extra mile to really find out what we wanted. His eye for detail and quick assessment of the atmosphere of our wedding were right on. The info we provided him wasn't much but he did a lot with it to capture the mood and the energy of our rehearsal, ceremony, and reception. Matthew is very professional and accommodating and the work he does is some of the best we've seen without a doubt.
