We planned our wedding from afar, so we never got the chance to meet Matt or hear the band in person before the wedding day. We heard them on YouTube and just decided to trust that it would all work out. While it often took some time to get a response back from our emails or a call, we decided just to go for it and are so happy we did. Matt MC'd the event beautifully, played great music for the crowd, and had everyone dancing all night. They were incredibly professional and my guests raved about them. I think their value lies in that they not only play good music, but they have a ton of experience at weddings. That kind of experience is invaluable and I never had to worry about them once. Highly recommended!

Matt Cross was a fantastic DJ for us. He was flexible with our budget and schedule and really catered to what feel of music we wanted at our wedding. We asked him to do some live guitar music during the cocktail hour and then was our DJ and MC for the reception. He also ran the sound system for our ceremony which included the officiant's microphone and equipment for a special song with guitar and two vocals. He did a great job and we would definitely recommend him for any big occasion!

We only met with Matt once and I have to say, he totally got us! One of my all time favorite memories of our wedding day was hearing our favorite songs by Mason Jennings and the Decemberists echo through the canyon at Holland Ranch while we were taking our pictures and guests were enjoying cocktail hour. It gives me goosebumps just remembering those moments.
Matt and his band put together an amazing playlist (one we would have put together!) for our pre-ceremony cocktail hour and then they totally ROCKED the reception! They played songs that kept the party going all night long and that totally fit my husband and I. Matt was a breeze to work with and even got my non-dancing, non-fist pumping husband on the dancefloor and everyone had a blast!!! We are now big fans and were so happy with Matt Cross and the One Night Band, we will have to come back to the SLO area to see a show! If you are looking for an awesome, professional and talented band that will keep your party going all night long with songs that you & your guests will all sing to at the top of your lungs, Matt Cross and the One Night Band is THE band!!
