  Oh, where to begin. These two ladies are wonderful. We hired both Jess and Kay for photography & coordination services for our May 2017 wedding in San Diego - and we did not regret it, to say the very least. I found them both through a coworker who hired them for her own wedding, and only had the best of things to say (I was also privy to her entire wedding photo album, and Jess’ work speaks for itself). We also hired Jess to do our engagement photos before the wedding - if you have an opportunity to do this I highly recommend it! My husband and I had never had professional photos taken of us, and we were more than a little nervous going into it. Jess is so sweet and hilarious though, she immediately puts you at ease and makes the process super fun and enjoyable. The photos themselves are amazing (I have gotten compliments from people I barely know who were shown the images by our friends), and we had one less variable to be nervous about going into the wedding itself. And then the wedding photos - all I can say is wow, wow, wow. They are STUNNING. Jess and her second did a great job of capturing all the photos we wanted - but also got a bunch of great ones we had no idea they were taking (for example, reaction photos of our guests as people were giving toasts). I am greatly looking forward to the photobooks I will be putting together for our families this year. Seriously - I can't stop staring at the photos.
  
  If you want top quality photos of your wedding - you will not regret hiring Lover of Weddings.
  

  Oh, where to begin. These two ladies are wonderful.   Wow, I can't believe how lucky we were to have Jessica. We contacted her super last minute and she found time for us. With impending rain I was panicking about our photos, but Jessica was flexible and did whatever she could to make our timing work. My fiance and I are not people who are comfortable in front of the camera, so we were nervous. Jessica made us laugh, made us feel comfortable, and we truly enjoyed the day. If you are looking for a caring, professional, but comfortable photographer, Jessica is your girl. Our engagement session was an event to remember and as soon as I know our when and where for the big day, I'm calling her!

  I went to Jessica and Kay off a recommendation from a few friends (also, in the interest of disclosure, Jessica and I went to the same high school, but we didn't know each other then). I'm so glad I did! Kay did a MARVELOUS job keeping my wedding day running smoothly and worked flawlessly with reps at our venues. I can't thank her enough for that.
  Jessica and her 2nd shooter were fabulous as well. We had a great time taking pictures after our ceremony and can't wait to see all the photos (we've just seen sneak peeks so far). Our family members were impressed at her organization when it came to who was going to be in what family photos - she had a list and she checked them off as she went! I would have liked to see her 2nd shooter do some shots of our wedding party while we did all the family photos, just to make that time go a little faster, but that might not be something the 2nd (or Jessica) were comfortable with, I'm not sure really.
  I had told Jessica ahead of time about a specific photo I wanted to take (with some signs I had made saying "Hi Grandma!" for our grandparents who couldn't travel), but we all forgot the day of even though it was (I think) in her notes about photos to take. I forgot the entire day until it was late in the evening at the reception, and I told her, and she did offer to go get the signs, but my #1 wedding regret is that I said "no, it's ok." I'm planning on putting my dress on and getting my hubs in a suit again to take some for the grandparents with the signs, but it really does bum me out that we forgot early in the day.
  I don't want that to take away at all from Jessica and Kay's skill and ability to capture beautiful images and be a coordination rock star - thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there to preserve memories of our big day and keep it on track so I didn't have to. :)

  We used Jess as our wedding photographer and she was nothing short of AMAZING! Before the wedding, Jess was super easy to get in touch with and always quick to respond if we had any questions concerning photography. She also provided a detailed timeline and made sure that she captured every shot we wanted on our wedding day. Not even a month after the wedding, we had already received all of our pictures and they were incredible. She is so talented and I was so impressed with all of the details and special moments that she captured. Aside from that, she is such a positive, enthusiastic person, which made taking pictures a lot more fun! I would definitely recommend her- you won't be disappointed!

  Working with Jess was one of the greatest parts of my wedding. Jess does the photography while her sister-in-law Kaylyn does the coordination and these two were a saving grace in the wedding planning. They made such a stressful season of life run so much more smoothly and made it an enjoyable experience.
  
  As far as photography goes, Jess made incredible effort to get to know me and fiance far before our wedding date. She was always very sweet, intentional, and professional. Her getting to know us made the pictures seem so much more personal. It was like she captured our personalities in every picture. She made sure to find out ahead of time exactly what locations in and around our venue we wanted our pictures taken. She asked for a list of pictures I had seen in other weddings or on pinterest that I would hope to have captured for my own wedding. Then on the wedding day, even when I had forgotten what photos were requested, she made sure to capture them. I also have a very large family who can be quite opinionated and wanted photos a certain way, Jess even worked with them and took all their suggestions into consideration. She made people laugh, she made everyone feel beautiful, and the entire time she was just so relaxing to have around as she made sure to capture moments I would have otherwise forgotten. I can't imagine having anyone else there to capture such a special day. Now that the wedding is over, I've been able to see quite a few of the final proofs and they exceeded all expectations (and my expectations were high). They are BEAUTIFUL and were finalized such a timely manner. No matter the cost, Lover of Weddings photography is THE WAY to go.

  She truly captures the emotions! Jessica is extremely friendly and makes you feel comfortable and at ease. I am in love with all the photos she took for me and they are spread all around my apartment!
