My review about Kathy is a little unique. Unfortunately, I was sick on my wedding day and had to leave the reception early. To be honest, I was pretty depressed after the wedding until . . . I saw Kathy's amazing photos. She captured every moment of laughter and every smile that you couldn't even tell I was sick. When viewing her photographs I felt like I was reliving my wedding flu free. She is an amazing person and an extremely talented photographer and I would recommend her to anyone getting married. In fact, that's how I found her. Two people that I work with strongly recommended her to me, and after I saw her work, I knew she was the one. I love, love, love, Kathy and my photos!

Kathy's service was exemplary! Ours was an unusual wedding, for we were getting married in San Diego, however I am from Australia (which is where I was organizing the wedding from), while my husband was working in Afghanistan, and his family are from Atlanta! Given these circumstances arranging a San Diego wedding was a challenge, and Kathy played an integral part in helping us make the day the wonderful success that it was! Not only did she provide prompt, professional and friendly service with regards to the photography, she was so helpful in offering me support and recommendations to help me and select the best vendors in the area for all my other needs. She has been working in the industry for over a decade, so she knows her stuff! Her help took all the stress out of arranging this difficult wedding. Our photography was flawless, so natural and beautiful, and the entire day was perfect. She captured the day wonderfully, and at the same time was discrete so we hardly knew she was there. She was very prompt in getting our photos to us as well. I couldn't be more happy with the service she provided and would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer, she was simply amazing!

The pictures from our wedding turned out great; however, the whole process was not very organized. There was a lot of confusion as to who was supposed to be where when. Also, I was disappointed because there were no pictures taken of my groom and his groomsmen getting ready.

Kathy did a wonderful job of listening to what we wanted in our pictures and then delivering. She was fun to work with and made the entire experience a pleasure. We were thrilled with the results and the hardest part was narrowing down our selections, we wanted to purchase every shot!

As the father-of-the-bride, I had a unique perspective on choosing the photographer. I'm not just talking about the COST! For years, professional photography was my career goal, so I know a thing or two about good photography. We had seen Kathy working my nephew's wedding and were amazed at her results. She had such great energy and was able to move the process along in a fun, productive manner. But the proof is in the prints.

I interviewed numerous photographers for "my little girls" day. I was convinced we could find as good, and certainly cheaper photographer in the L.A. area. (Kathy was based out of San Diego at the time and the prospect of bringing her in for the weekend and putting her up made me nuts!) But after going round and round, we always kept comparing the prospective photographers to Kathy. I finally caved. And am SO glad I did!

She handled our day with the most professional care, dealing with last minute changes and adapting to our special requests. She and her assistant captured the magic of the day and we will treasure her work for years to come. My whole family owes her a debt of gratitude for sharing her gift and talent. I can only recommend her with the highest regard. Best money I spent that day (THERE'S the fiscal Dad showing up). -DC

Kathy is the BEST. Even though she has done photography for hundreds of weddings the pictures are always gorgeous and fresh. She is a creative photo journalist and can capture your wedding in a way that videography never could. It took me months to narrow down the photos for my album, because they were all so good!

Kathy is willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. She helped me find other vendors as I was coming out of state. She was easy to work with. She has a welcoming personlity which makes her a joy to work with. She gets shots that are amazingly breathtaking. She can capture your special moments like none other. My favorite vendor from our wedding.

Kathy was wonderful! She answered her phone and emails immediately. She gave me a few helpful hints as well. She was very personable and professional. When we renew our vows we will definitely be using her again!

We are working on the album and can not decide which photos to choose. They are all excellent! I think you should hire me as an assistant so I can learn from a true master! YOU are an amazing story teller. Looking at the stills is like watching a documentary.... who needs a videographer when you have Kathy Ziegler! Bravo!

When we were planning our wedding, choosing the right photographer was very important to us (our theory was that we would be able to enjoy the wedding pictures longer than anything else we would purchase for the wedding). We also were particular about the types of pictures we wanted (we loved pictures that captured the emotion of the moment, especially candid and photo journalistic pictures). Finding a photographer that fit our needs (for style and cost) seemed like a daunting task at first... there are sooo many out there! We assumed that we would need to meet with multiple photographers before making a decision... Kathy happened to be the very first photographer we met with and we were so impressed by her work (and her amazing personality) that we didn't want to look any further, we just had a good feeling about her and felt comfortable that she understood what we were looking for. Overall, we can't say enough great things about Kathy as our wedding photographer. Kathy and her assistant surpassed our expectations with their professionalism and quality of their work. After the wedding all of our guests continue to comment on how much they love our wedding pictures! Brides in Nashville are very lucky to have Kathy Ziegler!!!
