Laura K. Allen!! Where do I even begin? Laura was an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only is she friendly, funny & extremely personable, she is a master of her craft. TRULY. We had the pleasure of working with Laura since 2021. She took our engagement photos and she made us feel so comfortable, even on what felt like the hottest day of the year. The cues she gave made us feel so comfy - not awkward like we thought we would feel! The photos came out amazing and the turnaround time was great! Fast forward to having to reschedule our original wedding date, she so kindly rescheduled. That meant so much that she did so because we wanted her at our wedding and our relationship with her meant a lot! Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. I believe Laura played a big part in that. She & her second shooter helped keep us on schedule throughout the day. She KNOWS weddings and one thing I love about Laura is how much she loves love and loves weddings. It shows in her spirit and in her work. She is the best hype woman. We are obsessed with our photos! I promise you will not find a better photographer than Laura. She was our absolute favorite wedding vendor. Her pictures are stunning--her style is the perfect balance of drama, romance, and realness. From the portraits, to the candids, to the detail shots, every single photo she took was incredible. She was very professional, both in all of our communication prior to the wedding and on the day of. We are very awkward in front of a camera, but Laura made us feel comfortable and confident while taking all our engagement and wedding pictures. It’s also important that you find someone you feel comfortable spending your special day with, and Laura was such a joyful and fun presence at our wedding. She is the absolute best in the business. I cannot express how thrilled I am that we chose Laura to capture our wedding day!! She was so organized and calm and collected and yet she was capturing all the small details all night. She made us feel so comfortable taking all of our portraits - neither of us are naturals in front of the camera but she made us look and feel like we were. Most importantly, I think, Laura was able to capture the emotions and vibes of all the important moments of the night. When I look through our photos, I can immediately remember the exact moments from the day and relive them all over again.

I interviewed a lot of photographers and looked at a lot of portfolios prior to hiring Laura. It was extremely important to me to hire a good photographer for my wedding, but I wasn't willing to spend over $5000. Laura was recommended to me by another photographer who, by the time I chose her, had already been booked for my wedding date. Laura took a lot of time to talk to me about what I wanted. She sent me samples of different things that she had done and kept notes about what I wanted. Laura is very skilled in different light conditions and did a really beautiful job with my sunset wedding and outdoor night reception. She captured a lot of emotion and detail while also providing some great artistic shots. I highly recommend Laura.

Couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! Laura was amazing from the start. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera in our engagement shoot, my bridal shoot, and she captured every moment of our wedding so perfectly! Laura was by far the best money spent out of all our wedding vendors. Her personality, creativity, flexibility, and professionalism were spot on and we couldn’t be more pleased.

I had the unique and amazing opportunity with working with Laura first as a wedding planner/coordinator, and then as a bride! Being in the wedding industry I needed someone for my wedding that I could trust to be just as good off camera as they were on. And Laura was my go to girl! She makes the planning and organizing side of a wedding a breeze, made two "behind the scenes" people photogenic, and kept our timeline day-of, all with a smile on her face and making everyone at ease in front of the camera. We laughed the entire time! She also made the photos from a 23 degree January day look like we weren't all freezing our butts off. We loved doing the engagement session with her! It really helped make our wedding day less stressful, and not at all focused on how we'd turn out looking in our photos. We knew she'd make us look fabulous!

Ive said it once and ill say it again; A GOOD PHOTOGRAPHER IS EVERYTHING. It is the only tangible portal into your memories for years to come and it is so important that the person who captures your big day truly captures you and your partners love and emotions in the photos. Laura does this effortlessly. There isn't enough good things that I could say about Laura. She's sweet, fun, easy going, and an absolutely wonderful photographer. She's very down to earth and truly loves weddings and gets excited about every detail of your wedding day. Laura is so easy to talk to and it feels like you've known her for forever, she makes what could have been an awkward moment of modeling a fun and comfortable event where everyone was laughing. She moves so effortlessly throughout your wedding ceremony you dont even know she's there but she is there! and she's getting some of the most amazing and perfect shots of your ceremony that you will have forever. Laura got our photos to us in less than a month from our wedding and with over 700 shots we haven't found one bad one. She makes you look like you're a seasoned model whose doing an add for a magazine. Ive never felt prettier. She doesn't get stressed out through the day and she makes sure to capture everything you might have missed in the rush of the day. Her candid shots are perfect. Theres so many shots of a caught eye glance or a small smile that might have been missed if it wasn't for her wonderful eye. Her editing makes sure that your colors and photos feel rich and warm she truly knows her way around a camera and a computer! None of our photos looked over edited or fake, she left us to look like us but still brought that extra professional touch to our pictures. I could go on all day about how wonderful and happy and excited I am about Laura and our beautiful wedding photos but all you need to know is that you should book with her, you won't regret it, and like me you won't be able to stop staring at your wedding photos!
