  Snyder Wedding - June 24, 2023

  Laura K. Allen!! Where do I even begin? Laura was an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only is she friendly, funny & extremely personable, she is a master of her craft. TRULY. We had the pleasure of working with Laura since 2021. She took our engagement photos and she made us feel so comfortable, even on what felt like the hottest day of the year. The cues she gave made us feel so comfy - not awkward like we thought we would feel! The photos came out amazing and the turnaround time was great! Fast forward to having to reschedule our original wedding date, she so kindly rescheduled. That meant so much that she did so because we wanted her at our wedding and our relationship with her meant a lot! Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. I believe Laura played a big part in that. She & her second shooter helped keep us on schedule throughout the day. She KNOWS weddings and one thing I love about Laura is how much she loves love and loves weddings. It shows in her spirit and in her work. She is the best hype woman. We are obsessed with our photos! Everyone that we've shown says that they are some of the best photos and everyone that was able to meet Laura/be part of photos on our wedding day have raved about how fantastic she is and how talented she is. If you need a wedding photographer, look no further. Laura is your girl! Not only will you get great photos but you will likely make a friend too.   Hire this lady now!!

  I cannot express how thrilled I am that we chose Laura to capture our wedding day!! She was so organized and calm and collected and yet she was capturing all the small details all night. She made us feel so comfortable taking all of our portraits - neither of us are naturals in front of the camera but she made us look and feel like we were. Most importantly, I think, Laura was able to capture the emotions and vibes of all the important moments of the night. When I look through our photos, I can immediately remember the exact moments from the day and relive them all over again.
  
  Laura went above and beyond for us, she exceeded our already-high expectations, and I cannot recommend her highly enough!

  Laura was simply fantastic. She is extremely talented and willing to go the extra mile to get amazing photos. We worked with her for our engagement photos, bridal portraits and wedding day photos. She is calm and in control. Able to wrangle rogue family members and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Most of all her photos are stunning. She is a delight to work with. Hire her!!!

  The best of the best!

  I promise you will not find a better photographer than Laura. She was our absolute favorite wedding vendor. Her pictures are stunning--her style is the perfect balance of drama, romance, and realness. From the portraits, to the candids, to the detail shots, every single photo she took was incredible. She was very professional, both in all of our communication prior to the wedding and on the day of. We are very awkward in front of a camera, but Laura made us feel comfortable and confident while taking all our engagement and wedding pictures. It’s also important that you find someone you feel comfortable spending your special day with, and Laura was such a joyful and fun presence at our wedding. She is the absolute best in the business. We truly cannot recommend her more highly!

  Can't rave enough

  I interviewed a lot of photographers and looked at a lot of portfolios prior to hiring Laura. It was extremely important to me to hire a good photographer for my wedding, but I wasn't willing to spend over $5000. Laura was recommended to me by another photographer who, by the time I chose her, had already been booked for my wedding date. Laura took a lot of time to talk to me about what I wanted. She sent me samples of different things that she had done and kept notes about what I wanted. Laura is very skilled in different light conditions and did a really beautiful job with my sunset wedding and outdoor night reception. She captured a lot of emotion and detail while also providing some great artistic shots. I highly recommend Laura.

  Couldn’t have asked for a better photographer! Laura was amazing from the start. She made us feel comfortable in front of the camera in our engagement shoot, my bridal shoot, and she captured every moment of our wedding so perfectly! Laura was by far the best money spent out of all our wedding vendors. Her personality, creativity, flexibility, and professionalism were spot on and we couldn’t be more pleased.

  Ive said it once and ill say it again; A GOOD PHOTOGRAPHER IS EVERYTHING. It is the only tangible portal into your memories for years to come and it is so important that the person who captures your big day truly captures you and your partners love and emotions in the photos. Laura does this effortlessly. There isn't enough good things that I could say about Laura. She's sweet, fun, easy going, and an absolutely wonderful photographer. She's very down to earth and truly loves weddings and gets excited about every detail of your wedding day. Laura is so easy to talk to and it feels like you've known her for forever, she makes what could have been an awkward moment of modeling a fun and comfortable event where everyone was laughing. She moves so effortlessly throughout your wedding ceremony you dont even know she's there but she is there! and she's getting some of the most amazing and perfect shots of your ceremony that you will have forever. Laura got our photos to us in less than a month from our wedding and with over 700 shots we haven't found one bad one. She makes you look like you're a seasoned model whose doing an add for a magazine. Ive never felt prettier. She doesn't get stressed out through the day and she makes sure to capture everything you might have missed in the rush of the day. Her candid shots are perfect. Theres so many shots of a caught eye glance or a small smile that might have been missed if it wasn't for her wonderful eye. Her editing makes sure that your colors and photos feel rich and warm she truly knows her way around a camera and a computer! None of our photos looked over edited or fake, she left us to look like us but still brought that extra professional touch to our pictures. I could go on all day about how wonderful and happy and excited I am about Laura and our beautiful wedding photos but all you need to know is that you should book with her, you won't regret it, and like me you won't be able to stop staring at your wedding photos!

  I am the mother of the bride, live in a different state, and did not choose Laura. But I meet her for the engagement photos and she is laid back and just fun. When the time came she responded quickly to all questions. Both Laura and her assistant were fabulous the wedding day. It seemed they were always behind the scenes and not in our faces. But always there for anyone who wanted photos taken. I have not seen the photos from the wedding but if they are as wonderful as the engagement photos were I will be double pleased.

We wanted to make sure we picked someone with good experience, who understood our taste and could turn out some beautiful pictures. Lots of photographers have their own unique style and it always scared me that we wouldn't be able to find someone who could cater the images to us and our style instead of what they were used to shooting. Laura was the first and LAST photographer we met with. From the begging we knew she was perfect. She is so creative, open minded, and studious. She takes classes and is always attending workshops to further her knowledge and does so many different types of shoots. This is great because she has a fantastic point of view and thinks outside the box. Our engagement pictures were perfect, and so were our wedding pictures. She made this OCD bride feel at ease with a timeline, questionnaire, and lots and lots of emails and texts ironing out details, answering questions, and keeping in touch. For our wedding, we had special LED lighting and Laura didn't even hesitate to go to the venue the night before the wedding to make sure she was prepared for the lighting and that she knew how to capture the best light. She kept in touch with me and even purchased/set up a beautiful lit backdrop for our formal pics when the weather didn't help and we knew we wouldn't be able to take those outside. I have nothing but great things to say about Laura. My entire family loved her. The package we got was so inclusive and had everything we needed for a fantastic price. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer and know who will be taking family/baby portraits in the future :)

  I am so happy that we found Laura to be our photographer to capture our wedding! Photography was one of the most important things to get right for our wedding and Laura did not disappoint. From the second I contacted her she was nothing but friendly, courteous and professional (She even rec'd a friend to do my hair and makeup). Since I was planning my wedding from across the country and would not have a chance to meet the photographer until close to the wedding which made me a bit nervous. But, Laura took the time to talk with me over the phone and get to know my Fiance and I and what we wanted, which made me feel great. I can't say enough about how happy I was when I saw our wedding pictures. Laura captured everything I wanted and more. She also kept everything on track the day of in order to get all the shots we wanted. Her turn around time is amazing as well. We received our engagement pictures a week after taking them and our wedding pictures only few weeks after (which is FAST). If you are looking for someone who takes amazing pictures, is kind and friendly and won't break your wedding budget go with Laura!

  We were thrilled to have Laura K Allen Photography capture our special day!! Laura was extremely professional and helpful from the get-go. She asked lots of helpful questions to make sure she would capture all the important moments, relationships and details that we had planned. She is very thorough and detailed in her work, which is exactly what we hoped for! Like others have mentioned as well, she is really great at getting good lighting to create beautiful photos. It was cloudy and rainy leading all the way up to our ceremony and she made me feel relaxed the whole time that she was still able to capture great pictures. She is a great coach and makes you feel very comfortable. Even though we weren't able to meet ahead of time (we live in Missouri but got married in Tennessee), I felt like I had known Laura for ages. She's awesome! I also really appreciated that she had a second photographer that could take photos with a bigger bridal party while Laura could take me and my mom/sister to get some more quiet intimate photos while I was getting ready. It made me feel a lot more relaxed. She is very very good at creating comfortable environment.
  
  Laura had a really good turn around time on the photos, even though I am sure it was lots of work to edit since she took lots and lots of pictures. But we are very thankful she did! Every detail was there and captured in a very soft, romantic way that matched our wedding and my style perfectly. Everyone we have shared them with has commented on how beautiful the photos are. I can't recommend Laura enough!!!

  Laura photographed both my wedding and my boudoir session and she did such an amazing job. I'm all about candid photos so rather than stand my family up for hours of pictures on our big day, I simply asked her to "capture the atmosphere of the wedding." The result was flawless. Our wedding book is like a story, and through her pictures you can feel the happiness and togetherness that day created for us and our family members.
  
  The boudoir shoot was extremely nerve-racking for me. I was tentative to go in and try to be "sexy" for a camera; not every girl is as confident in her body as she should be. Laura put me right at ease and made me feel so comfortable and happy in my own skin. The result was a classy, timeless collection of pinup pics that I can be proud of when I'm old and gray. :) The confidence shown in my boudoir pics was shocking even to me, and made me feel so good about myself. Not to mention, my husband loved them! ;) I couldn't have asked for a better photographer.
