Lizzy Oakley Photography specializes in weddings, micro weddings, and elopements in Nashville, Tennessee, and beyond! I have been shooting for over 19 years now and have a degree from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography. If you’re looking for someone to make you feel comfortable and laugh, no matter how awkward you think you are in front of the camera, I’m your girl! I don’t want to just take the photos of you cheesing at the camera, I want to get to know you and laugh with you so I can tell your story through photos that are unique. I have a huge passion for fashion and detail! My goal is to always create from my imagination and I strive to make your wedding pictures as beautiful as you imagined them! I love to hike and travel so if you are planning to elope nearby or out of the country, I'm down for an adventure!

LOVE !!!!!
Lizzy was SO awesome. Super easy to feel comfortable with her, me and my husband have never had professional photos taken so we really enjoyed that aspect. Lizzy matches whatever energy you give, which in return makes it super easy to get along with her. Not to mention our photos turned out BEAUTIFUL. just what we were looking for!!! We told her we wanted a darker presentation, and something where you can really see our love for each other. The price is definitely worth it.. we will cherish our photos forever. Thank you Lizzy!!! We are definitely booking her again for anything/everything in the future!

Absolute perfection.
Where do I even start! From the start of our ceremony to the end of our reception Lizzy was an absolutely incredible photographer, and human in general. We were so fortunate to be able to have her as our wedding photographer, and we truly believe that there is no one else that could have done a better job than she did!! I (the bride) am far from photogenic and I have no clue how to pose in photos due to my awkwardness, lol, I felt so comfortable with her guidance and amazing communication skills. She made me feel like a queen ☺️ If you are looking for a super fun, professional, photographer, I suggest that you look no further, Lizzy Oakley is THE BEST!!! 🙌🏼👑

Beyond Wonderful
Lizzy is fantastic! From our initial meeting, to engagement shoot, to the wedding, everything went great. I felt like she communicated well and always responded in a timely manner if I reached out about anything. She makes you feel very at ease in an environment that can feel a bit hectic. We received our photos less then two weeks after our wedding and we couldn't be more in love with them. She truly captured the joy of our day!

So good we flew her to our wedding!
From the beginning Lizzy was great! We had an initial phone call and she made me feel so comfortable. I've been in a lot of weddings and look not so great in the professional photos. Lizzy talked me through why that may be and what she would do as our photographer to help us get the shots we want. Our engagement shoot was so much fun! Lizzy went above and beyond. We shot in a dark dive bar but she somehow made the lighting perfect. The engagement photos feel personal, fun, and romantic. I did look for wedding photographers local to MA where we ended up getting married. We ultimately decided to fly Lizzy to MA because although the wedding photographers in there are so talented no one quite had Lizzy's style. We love our wedding photos so much we are having a hard time figuring out which ones to print! If you are on the fence I think you should hire Lizzy. You won't be disappointed.

Lizzy delivered the moody, documentary-style photos we were looking for.
Lizzy did a beautiful job of capturing our wedding in a way that felt authentic and intentional. Her photos aligned with the documentary-style that we were looking for, and she did an absolutely gorgeous job finding perfect lighting for photos that all had to be taken inside due to rain that persisted throughout the entirety of our wedding day.
We've gotten feedback from friends that you truly get a feel for who we are in the photos, and from our friends/family that weren't able to attend the wedding, they said the pictures truly made you feel like you were at the event.

Best Wedding Photographer EVER
Lizzy is amazing. She was never a concern in the planning process. She was very detailed and asked me questions during the planning process to get a better idea of the photos I would want. All of the photos are STUNNING. They don’t look forced or awkward. Lizzy was also so great on the day of the wedding. She was a calm presence and kept us organized. I would recommend Lizzy for your wedding, you will not regret it. I will cherish these photos forever. THANK YOU LIZZY!
