My fiancé and I got engaged last June and I reached out to Jared and Kayla in October of 2025. We discussed everything we wanted and planned for shooting in May 2026 for the best weather and outcome. Between October and May we communicated quite a few times to work out outfits and locations and it was always so pleasant and fun to speak with them.
We had our session in early May. Our first location was Twin Falls, which was beautiful. I don’t consider my fiancé or I to be photogenic people and honestly we both are pretty awkward with photos but Kayla and Jared made us so comfortable. I completely forgot the pressures of making sure everything looked good and was able to just let them make decisions for us, guiding our bodies and leading us with questions to help us feel more relaxed. After a few hours and multiple locations at the falls we went back into Nashville to Fort Negley for golden hour. I had brought some books to add to the photos (personality pics) and that was really fun to incorporate as a librarian. Jared and Kayla had offered the idea up a couple days before and I was so shocked they remembered what I did and also wanted to incorporate that for us! They also got us a bottle of champagne to shoot off for the pics and to be honest those are some of my favorite pictures they took bc it just shows our personalities and excitement so well.
Jared and Kayla captured us, better than we could ever do it ourselves and we are so lucky to be having them as our wedding photographers next June as well.
I cannot say enough good things about these two, if you’re thinking about hiring them for your session. Just do it!

We LOVE working with Kayla and Jared! They will be the photographers for our wedding in Nov 2024, but we recently finished our engagement photo sessions with them in Cali. They were AWESOME! Not only did they travel to the Redwoods National Park with us in California for a very fair cost, they made the process (that we were very nervous about) extremely easy and comfortable! We highly recommend booking Jared and Kayla for your special moment! They were extremely flexible, down to earth, and super great with our kids. They had their poses and ideas already in place which made getting pictures with a toddler and infant extremely successful. They offered us breaks for the newborn and bubbles/treats for the toddler as well. Our family felt very comfortable in front of the camera with them. Their communication throughout the entire session from booking to meeting them the day-of was great. Most importantly, our photos turned out amazing and we got over 300 of them to keep! We have used many photographers but these two are special. They photographed a very special time in our life while capturing the true persona of our family. We plan to use them again in the future!
