Please refer to page 2 of your contract, #3 under "Terms and Conditions": "Every effort will be made to furnish only the highest quality wedding portraiture. The quality of your photographs will reflect the weather and the Client's ability to cooperate with the Photographer. The Photographer is not responsible for the lack of coverage due to the weather, wedding schedule complications, or the rules/restrictions of the church/synagogue. There is no guarantee that a specified photograph or a specific pose will be taken." You should have planned a little better knowing of the time change and it getting dark early.
All my clients get roughly around 400 photos from their wedding day. This is an overwhelming amount of photos for anyone of their wedding day.
I will never show ANY client photos that "I" feel are not of artistic merit. It's my opinion to give the clients the best photos from their session or wedding day. I exclude images of nature like, blurry, over/under exposed, people blinking, a person with 1 eye open, the flash firing in the wrong direction to where it is casting a shadow behind the subject, etc....That is not my style. My style of photography is photojournalistic, not traditional by directing and posing people. I like to capture the moment between a couple, without having to direct them as they are being themselves. This helps me capture that true moment and the love they have for one another.
