I had an session scheduled with her in Portland. I was going to make a book for my future husband as a wedding present. She was a no show. I showed up to the hotel and they had no record of her even booking. I tried to call both her portland number and Ohio number and no one would answer. I emailed and facebooked her, even left messages on her blog. Nothing. I was mortified, sitting in the lobby all dolled up and not to mention the $400 I was out in the cost to get ready for the session. She finally emailed me back the next day, no phone call, just an email. She said that her grandmother was in the hosptial and that she probably should have called me to let me know she had to hop on an emergency flight back to Ohio. Weird thing is that there was never a booking done at the hotel we were supposed to meet at.

So, After I suggested a possible free session for my efforts and her lack of communication, she agreed. Then every attempt to contact her again to schedule this session the emails conveniently never got to them (just as had happened in originally booking the session).

I just want to let people know my very poor experience with this photographer so no one has to have the same bad experience that I did. Unfortunately I was not able to book another company with enough time to get pictures done for my husband. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Leah was an absolute pleasure to work with! Instantly after meeting her, I felt totally comfortable with her! She is very talented and has a great eye for beauty! My photo's came out amazing!!! My husband went crazy for his surprise wedding gift!!

I had such a blast doing the shoot with Leah in Chicago. I was a little nervous at first but she put me right at ease. The best part of these photos was the look on my husbands face. He LOVED them. She is so very talented! Can't wait to do another shoot with her.

After a rave review from a friend on our Destination Wedding discussion board and seeing her amazing pictures, my husband and I hired Leah to shoot our own Destinaion Wedding. Little did I know, so many months before the wedding, that THIS would be the second best wedding related decision we could have possibly made. (Followed only by the decision to have the wedding in the first place!) The work Leah does speaks for itself. I can't count how many people have told me I look like a porcelain doll in our wedding pictures. Her shots reflect the light in our eyes on our wedding day. She really did catch our true happiness time and time again.

Not only are the pictures of our wedding amazing, Leah and her husband/assistant Eric were wonderful to work with. They both completely fit in with our guests and not once did we feel like they were "vendors". They helped with getting ready details, they made sure things were in order and they brought a certain "professionalism with a twist of friendship". I didn't even have to discuss pictures we wanted to have taken, Leah just knew. Maybe that's because she had her own Destination Wedding just about a year ago...so she knew what she wanted. Or maybe it's just the pure talent and love she has for her profession. Maybe it's both.

Thank you so much Leah. We couldn't be happier with our wedding pictures. They're the perfect representation of our wedding day, as of us as a new husband and wife.
